Sludge Pump is what finally got me into playing driller! Its way different from the other primaries and the first one that made it fun to go driller on elimination missions to me
Not sure if you’ve seen it or not, but Siirvend’s other driller video has an elimination build involving the Ice Spear overclock for the cryo cannon. Also very fun, would recommend!
I can definitely agree with you there, I liked the original guns of driller but the sludge pump is just so much fun, Arced projectiles in games are always satisfying to use imo
2:32 Im convinced that the upper management is full of knive ears. It has to be, dwarves would never allow leaflovers to be sold in their company, let alone mandate its inclusion on every space-rigg. That'd make sense of the tree planting thing as well.
I quite like to use what I call a “hot garbage” build that relies on the burning ability of the goo, combined with the oc that increases charged shot goo pellets, and the plasma gun’s ability to burn things, you not only slow down and melt away grunts, but on top of that burn them away. Its great to see praetorian’s health fizzle away with 1 or 2 direct attacks, just from being covered in goo, stepping in goo, and being on fire.
personally, I stack goo with neurotoxin instead. Also fast at killing praets and I don't even need to worry about placing and lighting a puddle, though only actually somewhat efficient now that wave cooker is released (even then it's still not guaranteed to even get the neurotoxin effect applied in an entire mag dump, which is sad but atleast it doesn't happen too much)
Also works exceptionally well when paired with Gunner’s incendiary grenade, cover the entire place in goo and toss one out and you’ll have the entire cavern on fire
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Most creative and at the same time totally viable DRG-content on youtube. Only recently started mining led by Siirvend-Mission-Control. Fantastic work. For some reason I had never tried it thinking that it was only the original lines narrated by you. Man was I wrong. Awesome writing on those and just overall refreshing to have a totally different tone, which still perfectly fits the DRG-athmosphere. Huge Thumbs up. Its nice to see flying nightmare get some love for once, its been my favorite tier 5 for the epc since i started playing. Shame it still gets overshadowed in popularity by THC and epc mining even after the nerf.
Great to see a new upload, i didnt think id love csp but its fast becoming my favourite weapon - i’m a ps5 greenbeard who’s been binging all your vids recently, they’re brilliant - they’re made so well its like extra in-game lore. Looking forward to your next video, S.H.A.R.T on! Rock and stone.

13:15 I actually use this OC and these exact mods on the sludge pump. The only difference being that I built my EPC for a lot of ammo and spamming normal shots to heat up my goo puddles. It works really well!
Fun build: Goo Cannon, T4 Protein Slow Mod + Slow OC, Wave Cooker with Slow Mod + Slow OC, and Neurotoxin Grenade creates a 6x slow effect that makes dreads stop dead. Usually makes randoms laugh when I use it in dread hunts.
I absolutely love Sludge Blast, it just feels right for dreads also it allows my dread killer driller to use unstable OCs for all three main weapons which is really satisfying.
Your butchering of the word “Fluoroantimonic” is inspiring. I always remember it as floro-anti-monic, but that’s just because me da read me the dictionary as a bedtime story when I was a lad. On the subject of the weapon, I absolutely love it for what it brings to the table. I’ve been using it combination with the Blistering Necrosis microwave, in tandem with a direct-hit build for a little extra damage on the side. Helps with the big guys, and doubles down on the gross factor. Infected buboes filled with one of the strongest acid in the known universe is no joke.
I gotta say, I really love your content a lot - from the way you present it, the slight bit of roleplay, to your thumbnails, and the actual information included, it's fantastic. A very well deserved sub, it always makes my day seeing you upload. Keep it up!
That poop-pentagram is the best idea we've had for the new weapons yet. Who needs builds when you can summon satan and cook the bugs in boiling liquid shit for eternity.
Finally someone that acknowledges the Subata at all. It might not be as good all rounder like the APC but the full auto and explosive overclocks really make up for it. That and hitscans just feel better when you have to play with high ping.
Exactly, I've always been a fan of hitscan weapons and the subata is a quintessential hitscan gun. Driller always struggles a bit at range and it gives him an option to be effective without having to use projectiles.
Maybe you didn't know this, but the goo is actually flammable. So for the field disperser build i'd do the same exact thing for the sludge pump, but for the plasma pistol get heavy hitter and fire damage on it to set the puddles aflame. This even synergizes well with the added slowdown mod. Makes escort missions into an actual joke.
It's beautiful when you see the amount of effort this guy put in his videos. Hope you the best! and awesome video as always, I would appreciate if you make more videos about other weapons and builds!
I’ve been using goo bomber with same upgrades and heavy hitter with t5c. The goo lasts so absurdly long that you can easily make perimeters around the team and light them on fire. With the extra slowdown they’re basically guaranteed to be ignited so any grunt except for guards can’t survive walking into the safe zone, and all you need to do is hit them with a direct shot. If you’re staying put defending something it’s also very ammo efficient on top of letting you basically chill out and only need to hit priority targets until the goo needs to be reapplied.
Build 5 sounds exactly like what i want out of my goo gun, a ton of damage and a ton of armor removal. I'll be sure to start saving up to buy out the remaining mods, and I was actually lucky enough to have gotten the sludge shotgun overclock when I got my first ever overclock core (just so happened to be after promoting Driller, whom I main :p)
Definitely going to try some of these out when I unlock the overclocks for the pump. Your videos always prove to be both entertaining and extremely informative. On another note, the green hat man chills segment had me rolling.
Things like the oppresser is a good reminder of why we will never skip on dreadnought hunts... we don't want to ever see the dreadnought twins grow up now do we, brothers?
Thank u for making this video, the Field disperser build was definitely my favorite since it was just my current build but better. I'm going to use it all the time now.
CSP is my absolute favorite from the new guns... Thanks for shining some more light on it. After experimenting with S.H.A.R.T for a while, as that was the first OC I got for It, I settled on Goo Bomber Special and Disperser Compound on my two main ocs. I may have to give the shart another go though... Thanks again for your insights. I am looking forward to your LOK-1 video, as that is currently the one weapon I struggle the most with.
I usually run disperser compound but with the DoT upgrade, one charged shot lets me take care of most threats, normal shots for for single-big targets, and let the DoT take care of such
RUclips didn't tell me about this video which upset me, but FUCK I've been looking forward to it. I love your build vids and I use your Karl page as blueprints for most of my own builds.
I've been using the TCF and Disperser compound build for a while now and decided to watch the vid after getting it in my recommended. Glad to see it included! I always thought it was a great combo, great to see other people that think so too
I was honestly very skeptical on how useful and different this weapon would be. But got to say, this weapon has been fun. I had went full area denial on the weapon and that also made it an only charged weapon build. With persistent plasma, disperser compound, and the gas grenades, I’m able to make it so bugs head to a crawl. And since I also bring fire shots as well, if I want a lot of damage I bring up a gas and a bunch of goo puddles and BOOM. The second build also looks interesting since it uses the detonators for Subata. Interesting use of the subata which is nice to see variety in weapons, and uses an overclock I wouldn’t normally use.
I just promoted my Driller for the very last time to reach Legendary III, and I've used the good'ol Sludge Pump for the past 100-200 hours of that journey. However, what I've learnt using it is how good the Subata is with Explosive Reload and I'm glad you showed it off a bit in the video. I was a Driller who only ever used the EPC from Bronze to Platinum, however, Explosive Reload is so incredibly powerful, esepcaillly combined with a good dot and slowing sludge pump build. I now use the Subata more akin to a primary when I play, running around with that in hand for single targets and using the Sludge Pump for charged shot mahem when things get a bit more bug busy! Just make sure you take all the ammo upgrades you can for it, don't worry about direct damage as the exploding will do all the damage for you :) Sludge Pump is amazing too! Great video as always.
When you watch Siirvend over on Twitch, and therefore have known a new video has been going to be dropped for a few days now. Thanks for the build tips. I'm a filthy cryo driller, but I've been messing around with the toxic waste gun for a bit, this'll give me some good starting points for how I can effectively use it. Rock and Stone.
Sorry it's been taking me forever lately to get through my backlog of videos. I have all of my currently built wave cookers in my Weapons Terminal Showcase video though if you wanted to look through them!
With the CC build I highly recommend the neurotoxin nades instead of axes. You make massive puddles and gas clouds at the start of a drill dozer tunnel and boy boy boy it's lovely
I tried the slugepump with dispenser compound and heavy hitter fire epc. Deffinetly a way to embrace your inner pyromaniac sense not only can you set the goo ablaze you can also set enemy's on fire to spread the fire to the goo and suddenly you got a raging fire on the loose!
After many mineral mania missions, I was finally able to put together the SHART build and Goobomber Special. Oh my god this is my go to for elimination missions, the SHART configuration is SO strong. Dreadnoughts get reduced to fleshy bulbs ripe for destruction.
If you look through my Corrosive Sludge Pump videi you'll find it. It's basically a Dreadnought killer build using the Sludge Blast to get insane direct damage on them.
2:26 one tree? ONE TREE?!?! *ANGRY RIOTING DWARF NOISES* in all seriousness, I freaking adore this weapon, a good balance of the previous two weapons with a higher skill sealing to reward veteran miners just **mwah** love it
Fluoroantimonic acid is literally the strongest acid in the real world capable of dissolving everything but teflon. It's also very explosively reactive with water, with even the moisture in the air being able to cause it to explode
the poop cannon is such a great weapon for DOT drillers: with the new microwave gun, you can give every bug cancer with beams of radiation directly into their foreheads, and stack that with it's innate perk to proc farts on gooped enemies:: this with the fart grenades gives you the ultimate driller.... the STINKIEST driller....
note; this build is extremely chill. just kinda tap bugs a couple times with charged shots from the poop cannon and proc the nuclear radiation OC and fart mod on the microwave. if needs must, throw a fart frag, and walk by the bugs unharmed, wading through your own stinky filth!
The hell? How did I miss your training video for the prophecized shitblaster?! Also, I thought management confined all modification testing to “field testing only” due to “not wanting the bugs to nest on the spacerig.” Though, it may have been due to me testing my PGL with some “less than legal” modifications to my explosives. BUT I LEARNED FROM MY MISTAKE. NO MORE U235 IN THE EXPLOSIVE COMPOUND.
fun fact: the tier five upgrade flouroantimonic acid is named after an acid with the same name, with a ph of -31.3 (lower is more acidic, 7 is neutral)

Sorry it's been taking me forever lately to get through my backlog of videos. I have all of my currently built wave cookers in my Weapons Terminal Showcase video though if you wanted to look through them!
@@siirvend Already watched it a few minutes ago! There are so many important mechanics that aren't properly shown ingame. Keep up the good work!
Its official, we can now fully replicate good bombers. Thank you R&D for the jet boote.
I need to do this, its destiny
@@siirvend i think getting 4 people to do it as to replicate mactera plague could be fun
With the CC build I highly recommend the neurotoxin nades instead of axes. You make massive puddles and gas clouds at the start of a drill dozer tunnel and boy boy boy it's lovely
I bring both, usually axes when I'm solo
9:21: we've figured that part out now.
The prophecy is true
I tried the slugepump with dispenser compound and heavy hitter fire epc.
Deffinetly a way to embrace your inner pyromaniac sense not only can you set the goo ablaze you can also set enemy's on fire to spread the fire to the goo and suddenly you got a raging fire on the loose!
Watching the room burn when you cover it in goo is a ton of fun
Have yet to unlock this gun since I’m just getting into drg, but it looks pretty cool, reminds me of an unreal tournament gun
Oh yeah, its very UT4
After many mineral mania missions, I was finally able to put together the SHART build and Goobomber Special. Oh my god this is my go to for elimination missions, the SHART configuration is SO strong. Dreadnoughts get reduced to fleshy bulbs ripe for destruction.
Happy SHARTing!
What exactly is that build?
If you look through my Corrosive Sludge Pump videi you'll find it. It's basically a Dreadnought killer build using the Sludge Blast to get insane direct damage on them.
Gerald is such a leaf-lover
Love your videos!
2:26 one tree? ONE TREE?!?! *ANGRY RIOTING DWARF NOISES*
in all seriousness, I freaking adore this weapon, a good balance of the previous two weapons with a higher skill sealing to reward veteran miners just **mwah** love it
High skill ceiling is right! Arcing projectiles have always been a favorite of mine in games.
UH OH, STINKYYYY
The hell? How did I miss your training video for the prophecized shitblaster?!
Also, I thought management confined all modification testing to “field testing only” due to “not wanting the bugs to nest on the spacerig.”
Though, it may have been due to me testing my PGL with some “less than legal” modifications to my explosives. BUT I LEARNED FROM MY MISTAKE. NO MORE U235 IN THE EXPLOSIVE COMPOUND.
I still manage to sneak some weapons into the rig launch bay when I can, its so much nicer than having to do... *shudders*
Hazard 1
Bruh the Praetorian with no armor looks cursed as hell
I actually use the non Newtonianator as my csp build. Save for volatile impact mixture which I don’t have.
i see the green hat man in my dreams...
he says that i stink and should get gud... i think i drank too many smart stouts last night
Obey the hat man
fun fact: the tier five upgrade flouroantimonic acid is named after an acid with the same name, with a ph of -31.3 (lower is more acidic, 7 is neutral)
PH goes from 0 to 14 if I remember right, so wtf is PH of -31.3 haha
@@prich0382 super acidic. remember, ph is logarithmic, meaning that the change increases the further you get from 7
I mean the dwarves comments in Azure seems to point out they like nature oddly. Flowers at least :P
shhh dont tell anyone they like those plants, theyll get laughed at
For each Glyphid melted, DRG Management will also melt 1 elf treehouse.
I can get behind that
I like how oppressors sound big and tough but when they dissolve they sound like dumb baby grunt
Oh my god the green hatman
