I remember playing this with my friend when we were kids. We use to a put board between us so on split screen we couldn’t screen watch. Select the hedge maze level and put the colour on screen to Black and white. If you hung on the hedge you would camouflage into it. One of the funniest and best multiplayer experiences I’ve had in my life.
Did similar thing with housemates while in college. We used a big mirror as the partition. If you hung on the hedge and switched to grenade toss, the view would allow you to see a unique view over the hedges without giving away your position. When housemates first saw me doing that (where the competition couldn't see), they started cracking up as I tended to find things to exploit in games, including things some might say were glitches.

This is probably the sickest deathmatch game-series on PS1! Everyone I showed it to back in the day loved it. Some of the funniest gaming memories ever are because of Syphon Filter! Is this the one where you can play as the granny?
I love how most split-screen multiplayer games are extremely unfair when one person screen peeks, but this game almost felt like it was encouraged, the way the maps were designed with how small they are and the spawn points made it feel like you weren't really cheating but you were just hunting the enemy in an arena
@@brianschaefer3851 It makes me sad no game dev or even indy devs don't care for this game. What it would take is a super surge of live streamers and youtubers to make videos with syphon filter games. What is actualy fucky is that EA was the publisher to this game.

Yep, this game brings lots of memories. I was good at this game. I'm 33 now and dont play video games anymore. But, this game I mastered back then.
