We need 15000+ LMG, 10000+ Sniper Rifles, 5-6 lac Assault rifles, 10 lac Bullet proof jackets Mk 3 and Helmets. Large budgets will be approved but large scale production is very very slow in India. They have to pass the Indian army trials in extreme conditions. OFBs MCIWS, and other rifles too failed. Firstly, SSS Defence should put all its range of weapons in Army weapons trials and only then we will know it they meet the army requirements.

Army can give mass order of Saber/Viper snipers to replace old snipers like Dragunov, Heckler & Koch PSG1, Sig sauer 3000 Also apart of Ak-203, Army can also give order of Asault rifle of SSS Defence to replace existing AK-47s,AKM & AR-M1
That's something even I was wondering Sss was part of the competition but Army choose to go with SIG. See when you have this kind of quality producers meaning guns plus even the ammo is produced from same place. Our country should start giving them good orders. I heard Brazilian special forces have some kind of orders for ammo and guns. I wish the government starts looking at SSS defence very seriously and involve them in replacing the sniper rifles as well as carbines. Surely guys in army are looking closely on test ranges. Finally, an Indian 🇮🇳 private defense company is now making such a cool looking indigenous small arms. And we had been tired to watch pathetic looking and poorly manufactured weapons from OFB. They are still making Desi kattas namely like Nirbhik and Nirbhay. OFb failed to modernise INSAS Rifle which was initially a good weapon but due to no innovation from OFB, it became burden for the Army.

SSS should focus on Paramilitary forces ,they should start from lower level instead of directly going to Indian Army. This will help top officials to back their weapons in defence ministry. Eventually after some time they will be meeting IA standards.
I would suggest SSS should go for the production of 4th generation anti tank missile and VSHORADS too in the future. I personally am fully convinced and confident that SSS is fully capable of producing quality product indigenously that meets international standards and soon they will be a leader in the private sector specialised in production of small armaments.

From the videos I have seen about SSS Defence, they look like a very promising company. It is now upto them to cut through the Indian bureaucracy and make these weapons available to the soldier on the ground. Only then will the efforts fructify and the future of these weapons and of the company be ensured. Our forces must assimilate new systems into their arsenal and then only can suitable modification be made to these systems based on user experience. That is what armies do around the world. But somewhere it seems the decision makers at raksha mantralaya keep waiting for the weapon systems mature before induction which is an impractical approach.

I have full confidence that Indian Army has already planned for SSS Defence to takeover as the next biggest platform in their small arms sector . Mark my words . AK upgrades are the beginning of something big . It will look like a slow process . But , if Indian Army is starting to test the equipments frequently . I am confident atleast they will check it every way possible until they find any drawbacks . And we know that .
My biggest question is does sss def manufactured them with barrels and other parts or it just upgrades the cosmetics
