Thank you so much Brett. I just received my diagnosis for Autism and ADHD after 5 years of therapy. I have been struggling to explain to family members what my experiences are and have been looking for reading to give them so this is perfect. Currently watching all your videos, feeling very seen and hopeful about navigating my professional and personal life as AuDHD! Excited to get reading :)

Thank you so much, Im so happy Ive found you! Its so refreshing to hear someone is an actual leader/ boss with autism and adhd. ❤🎉 now I have proof it can be done! 🎉❤
People tell me to "just accept" while being in an absolute rud and not having a life... not even educate myself because then "i dont except myself enough"...
Education/ understanding is key, Ill read some books 😎!
If you have any information on sensory overload and what to do about it to become more productive, I would love to hear it!
Have a great day, you certainly helped mine, thanks

Thank you for your lovely comments. WhenI started out in my career I had a lot of people tell me what they thought I could or couldn't do and many times that pushed me to show them I could do it. Still, I had a lot of internal blocks I had/have to work through. It happened when I went to college, then grad school and in every job I've had. After a while I started to tell that voice in my head to pause and look at how far and how much I've accomplished but knowing what I need and how I need to do it differently. The older I've gotten, the more quiet that voice gets now. For overload, I suggest the book Self Care for Autistic People from Dr. Megan Neff. Her website, Neurodivergent Insights is also remarkable and there is a lot there to help take a strengths based approach. I'll work on a video about this too as it's something I struggle with a lot as well.

@AuDHDBoss thank you for your comment and tips! I listend to the audiobook last night and its absolutly a gem! Will dedicate this year to sensory understanding and selfcare. So I hopefully can reset my system and make a path way to a more meaningfull/ productive live.
When confronted with those voices I do tent to shrink and play small. Yet I had a live transformation 3 years ago and since then I got way stronger than those voices, like you said if you can do that... way more is possible. Ill make sure to use it more often as a drive forward!
Thank you so much and have a great day.
Ill continue with the other book suggestions 😉
