I am shocked about the process of Personal Growth Challenge. I did not expect a lot of people to quit later on. Keep going on one thing is not easy. The person who has consistency successes!
For me, the most relevant points discussed in this video are: 1.) Giving more importance to internal success rather than external success - I still struggle with it because my goals are often clouded by what I know will impress others. Even sometimes, when I actually make goals for myself and then they impress others, I forget my personal reason why I'm aiming for them. And then I begin to lose consistency. It's like the external validation from others makes me disconnected from my genuine intentions. 2.) Connecting with other people - I love the quote "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." I also struggle with thinking that I can do it all alone. I forget that things are always easier and more meaningful when they are done with other people, especially with those who will surprisingly get you a lot. It's magic when you meet people lof your tribe. So I should avoid closing my doors to everyone.

Hi Aileen. I just want to say thank you for your videos. As someone who was extremely shy and well nerdy in school, I was bullied often and as a result my self esteem has always been low. I even became a shut in for a few years. I've started to practice self love unconditionally and I've started to feel so much better. It's been an amazing journey though I still have a long way to go. The best thing about yourself is the way you speak in a way that we all can relate to. And I say this, even though I'm not in your target audience (I'm a guy in my early 30s).. I started my first job at a gas station deli and all last week I would constantly say to myself, "I hate this, the co-workers are rude, the customers are creepy, and it smells so gross here". I need to stop. I am lucky to even have a job during this pandemic. I am bringing in my own income and my mindset is what really will define the job. I needed this reminder. Thank you So much!

With that last habit, I have people I can connect with to help me but I'm so scared to include them in my projects because I'm scared they'll judge me or think that my projects aren't good.. I definitely want to note that connecting with others is really vital. Getting through college, getting a specific position or career, or whatever is next in your life it really is important to stay connected. When I went back to school after originally dropping out for 5 years, I literally thought I was going to go to school and go home and do homework. And that's it. Yeah I didn't get very far with that mindset. I needed connections put myself out there to get to know my teachers, the staff, etc. And through that I was able to stay on top of sh*t and get through without many problems. Even now, I'm still connected to my old bosses, my old teachers, I'm applying to grad school and honestly if they didn't write me such amazing recommendation letters I probably wouldnt feel so certain. It probably wouldn't have looked well. But I helped them out they helped me out. I stay connected. I went through a bad year where sh*t hit the fan, my dad got hit by a car, etc I disappeared from everyone. But I came back I apologized I explained and they understood.
