Wonderful collection you have here sir. Just a suggestion, to prevent the bracelet from getting in the way, I actually removed on of the screws on the bracelet. Be it clasp or link, this 'opens' up the bracelet, making it easier to access the lug spring bars.
Do you prefer the RubberB or the Everest rubber strap? Please elaborate on the fit and feel and look comparison between the two. Which one would you buy again? Thanks
Greetings, will you give us an update on your impressions of the Everest strap now that you've used it for some time? I am considering an Everest for the Milgauss.
With this video giving me some inspiration, I’ve just received an Everest watch roll in green. Works well with the brands I own and the quality is excellent.
Hey man! I have a Rolex explorer but is either a little bit tight or loose, no matter how I use the micro adjustment I end needing +- 1mm. Does the Everest strap will give me that gap? Or of I choose the same link size configuration will fit exactly as the OEM bracelet? Summarizing, I need to know if the Everest strap fits exactly as the bracelet or a little bit tighter or loose? Thanks!!
Transforms the look of the watch , Actually i think prefer this look of the watch . That clasp stands out so much better on a rubber strap and accomplished with the precision of a surgeon well done enjoy .
Looks amazing ,just ordered mine from Everest also went for the 5x4 in black can’t wait! Just wondering how it is holding up ?as couple of year old now this Video , kind regards lee.
Can you please make a video about watchtools you recommend a collector should have and the watchtools you used in the video? And the modelnumbers of the tools would be great.
You are the only reviewer ive seen use the proper tweeser style spring bar removal tool. What is the reference number of it please? Also why can it only be used for removing & not reinstaling the spring bars? Its a pity your hand was in the way when removing the spring bar as ive never seen it used, only the single bar style removal tool used by others. Did you ever get a Rubber B strap for comparison like you said you would? Thanks
I have Everest strap and tried using the 7825 and very difficult... is that single tool better for rubber straps? The pins dont line up fully with tweezers, maybe that way you use single tool
0:26 "Ranging from Seiko to PP..." is what got me to subscribe. Very similar tastes. Have to have a range to be a true watch collector in my opinion. And Seiko and Casio HAVE to be in there for me.
Thought I'd better watch this now I know how good it looks on the Everest. I do have a query though, are the fancy looking tweezers an absolute necessity? Thinking of putting a small toolkit together and these are a bit pricey. I don't mind as long as I do need them. Thanks LWC.
Hi there mate I am in the market for a new watch. I own a Rolex Ouster Perpetual 39mm in white (bought after watching your video). I am interested in getting either a Rolex submariner date new 2018 (stickers). Or the new Rolex Datejust 36mm 126334 with a black dial. Or even a omega Spedmaster, sapphire sandwich. What would you go for? Thanks very much, J
Im becoming more convinced to do this with my Bluesy 2 tone. Im still debating between this and Rubber B but bottom line it gives the watch a true sports feel with the blended look of rubber and metal. Nice vid
Hello. Good video and what a collection. I was wondering if you could mention the ref of your tools. The spring bar is easier to find but Bergeon has a lot of tools that look like the other two
Very nice! Gotta say i’m a bit scare to do it myself. Wonder which band is better quality RubberB or Everest. watching this video did make me more confident thou 😃
I have a rubber b for my GMT. I love it, but the screwdriver I have isn’t very sharp, can you post links to the screwdriver and spring bar tool you use?
Nice work. Obviously you've done this once or twice. I've changed many straps with my watches but the toughest one was my Casio A800 Solar watch. Don't want to work on that again.
Hi I appreciate the thoughtful idea behind the making of this video, looking foreword for the Rubber B Review. I have a 2 tone Skydweller for which i am planning a Rubber B.
Hello, ive just seen your recent video about another Everest rubber strap. Please do a review of an Oysterflex rubber strap. I would like to buy a rubber strap but I hesitate between RubberB and Oysterflex. I personally don’t like the look of Everest bracelet (I prefer flat finishing near the clasp) Cheers
I always wonder how do you install bracelet back into the watch. Rolex's bracelet and the case fits like a glove, do you need a specialize tweezer to clamp from both sides?
Hi LWC Please note that the three dots on Everest logo not only can be making reference to the five dots on the Rolex logo, but those dots are the exact representation of the three or two dots on a Rolex crown (the part of the watch, not the logo), depending if the crown can be moved up to two or three positions.
Andre Tennis Everest is Vulcanised and slightly better than RubberB . I have both straps on my Rolex watches and the Everest is slightly more supple and has an excellent fit and finish. Another good slightly cheaper alternative is Zealande straps from France approx 30% cheaper than RB and Everest 👍
@@malcpilling7935 I read in many forums and people is divided between RubberB is better / Everest is better, in the end i think it's just a matter of personal preference. I'll go with RubberB also because I've an authorized seller at 10kms from my house 😊 Didnt know about Zealande, thanks for the advice!
I had so many big old watches my cousin stole all my dads and paws safes after he died I cry everyday your channel makes me feel a lot better I’m big fan
I love your videos buddy, but I don't like rubber anywhere near a nice watch. Prefer the Rolex metal bracelets for sure. Are gangs holding people up with guns for WATCHes in London.....?? I've traveled around the world hundreds of times over the past 40 years (including London) always wearing a Steel Rolex.....never an issue. Anyway, enjoy your weekend and always smile seeing your videos pop in on a Saturday morning here. PS: What is the intro music please?
Well come to Amsterdam with your steel sports Rolex they come with scooters And take your watch any time of the day, if you don't give your watch they stab or shoot you.
@@Neil.C57510 In the USA we have purse snatching junkies and gangs that go after more than a watch; but generally "They" don't know what's in store for them by targeting the wrong guy. Amsterdam and London seem to be a typical result of dis-arming a normally peaceful society.....too bad...
You have a beautiful collection of watches. I would love to one day get a chance to film a Rolex piece on my RUclips channel. Enjoy your watches in good health sir.
I only have one watch , the same as in this video 114060 I couldn’t bring myself to change to rubber strap personally , I think they look great tho don’t get me wrong 👍
QUESTION: I am interested in knowing, from your perspective, what makes one brand and/or model of watch more collectible than another brand and/or model? Thank you for your answer in advance. I truly appreciate your time and opinion!
@@LondonWatchCollector Yeah, makes sense. I have a scratch in my clasp and was thinking about ways to "fix" it. I don't really see myself change it because of the story behind it though 😅
I’ve scratched up my Explorer so much by trying to fit an Everest band on. The tolerances are just too high for me and one side of the spring bar NEVER goes in.
Yea looks fantastic on the rubber strap, great vid, cheers 👍👍👌👌
@05:20 he covers the watch with his hand so we can't see what he's doing. VERY smart of him.

Can’t find the words to describe how gorgeous it’s looks with the rubber strap. Wow

Rolex is rolex! Don't need dress it down, be flash and proud and enjoy! Your collection is perfect 👌👍
Love the combo of the 114060 with a rubber strap, looks perfect and make look like real classic diver watch... 👍🏽 great video mate

Hi, can i use the clasp from the steel bracelet? Thank you!
got an explorer II with a Rubber B onrange strap. it fits perfect and the color is the same as the orange gmt hand!

Can you not use the calipers to install the new strap? I noticed you used then to remove the bracelet but not when you installed the strap?
looks super clean with rubber!
Excellent work!
I want that Rolex leather/suede tray! Great video. Just ordered a strap from them.

very helpful and much information about the Rolex , love your channel . and which Rolex should i buy under 15,000 , thanks ..
Looks outstanding on that band.
I have a question if where Can I get an extra Rolex clasp? and do Everest and rubber B straps comes with a clasp or not?
Looks amazing more stealth but still smart and more everyday practical wear!
My favourite combo is a black dial Daytona with the grey Everest strap
Where do you buy the watch tray? Great video’s.

Well done, I have many on silicon type straps and they not only look wonderful but are oh so comfortable, great video as always
Looks great put mine on the tang buckle Everest strap preserves the whole bracelet even the clasp

Great work! It looks very good! I'll buy a RubberB for my 114060 because they use vulcanized rubber which should be butter than standard rubber.

I had to order those special tweezers, too. Without them, I was unable to get to the spring bars.
Where did you get that beautiful tray?
I've been after one myself, they're so good. AD wouldn't give me a free one last time :(
Great video, I have my Batman on the same strap I think it looks great.
Love the look of the rubber strap. Great looking watch!
I wasn't a fan at first of the oysterflex bracelet, but your Submariner looks great black on black!
Very informative I really like that combo

Why don’t you first fit the strap onto the case and then to the clasp?
Makes it easier to fit the springbars imo.
Yeah good idea 👍🏼
Great tutorial! Thank you brother!
Still waiting for the G-shock GMW B5000 review
Coming soon.. Scheduled for the 1st of June @0700
Can't wait!@@LondonWatchCollector
Where can i get an affordable quality tray like that? Any suggestion?
Try WOLF they are smaller in size though
What is the music you use for your intro and outro? Btw i really enjoy your videos.
This brings up the question: why don't they sell the sub on oysterflex? Rubber on a diver is a great combination
They will for sure give them a couple of years

Crazy to think by removing "A", "Rolex" and "Watch" this becomes a VERY different video.
Looks great, thanks for sharing. Remove those stickers, its just a watch, enjoy it. Might go ahead and get one of these straps for my Sub also.
Insane looking watch!
Looks amazing! I'd love it if Rolex supplied a rubber strap with their sports models as standard!
It would quite literally cost them pennies to do this.
Hello, will this rubber strap fit on the new batgirl 🥳🥳
Thank you for sharing

I love the new bracelet. It just looks very perfect on the Submariner. I would wear it, as well ;-)
Always loved the Everest strap on a sports model!
looks great, nicely done.

Where did you get the Tweezers?
Really Cool Video
Can you do a video on the Omega Seamaster 300m 210.32.42.20.01.001?
may i know where did you get the springbar removal tool from?
It is a bergeon N°7825 tweezer tool
You need to branch out & buy an atelier piece. I would suggest De Bethune B28 kind of yellow. Think it would look sensational on your wrist
Great job - scratched a few lugs in my time. Will come to you next time😁
🤭😂👍🏼
An everest watch roll review would be awesome!
Yeah heard they were good
not very helpful without a camera view of the spring bar tool on the lugs
I am doing this same combo this week, agreeon wearing SS Rolex, that is why I usually where Platinum or gold, gains less interest.
Perfect tutorial!
Make a vid about your patek collection
Are you going to keep in on the rubber strap?
How could you use the clasp of an other watch? Doesn't it need one, or do you have an extra clasp?
Yeah definitely! Have one of my divers on a tang buckle 👌🏼 hence the spare bracelet / buckle
@@LondonWatchCollector Yeah, makes sense. I have a scratch in my clasp and was thinking about ways to "fix" it. I don't really see myself change it because of the story behind it though 😅
Well done. No one is as careful with your watch as you. If you can do it yourself and have the proper tools, do it.
I’ve scratched up my Explorer so much by trying to fit an Everest band on. The tolerances are just too high for me and one side of the spring bar NEVER goes in.
Looks great, dressed down. Cheers.
