In this video, I explore if the top-spec 2021 Coolray Sport is worth the extra cash over the mid-spec Coolray premium. The 2021 Geely Coolray premium is already fully loaded, so what would the extra cash buy for you in the Coolray Sport? The Geely Coolray Sport has more tech features, and that amazing 360 degree view camera. This is a Filipino car review of the top of the line 2022 Geely Coolray Sport. It has a lot of sporty design cues that appeals to younger buyers, but it may be too loud for the more mature crowd. The good thing though, is despite the price difference, all Coolray variants here in the Philippines gets the same engine and transmission treatment. Geely Philippines made sure that we get that awesome turbo 3 cylinder and the 7 speed wet DCT.

Bro. I think one good feature of Geely Coolray is its auto parking. My wife and daughter saw me watching it and they liked it very much
I own the sports one since last year and until now this car keeps on amusing me. Very good performance for a car below 1.5M. I couldn’t even remember how many people have asked me about my coolray and had their jaws dropped. This car is perfect for people of young age bcoz of its powerful engine and cool features. This is also good for small family coz its packed with tons of tech and safety features.

Sir Reygan you are all the same car reviewer are just in focus of the technical and appearance of the car. I do hope also that you are going to make a review or vlog about the mechanical of different transmissions, if what are their pros and cons, or what are the things that you are not going to do of that certain transmission like a manual transmission, conventional automatic, and dual clutch transmission, in that case you can give to lot of people any better idea of what car they are going to go through because now a days the evolution of car with the advance technology are very fast escalating and we cannot hide the fact that mostly of the auto buyers today are just in love easily with the looks of the car but not enough knowledge and idea if how are the transmision works. I hope someday you can come up with this idea thanks a lot

The lower variant premium model has a more subtle rear spoiler. You may watch my review of that in the channel as well. 🙂 maybe the MY version will have it too.

Bro, better to drop Volvo when discussing how good Geely's latest units. Just my 2 cents. While it may be true that Volvo's influence is imprinted all over the Coolray, Geely is still a separate entity and their designers deserve full credit for this. In a nutshell, I'm buying a Coolray because they are that good, not because I want a budget Volvo. Other than that, your presentation is good.
The Coolray doesn't use the CMA platform that Geely and Volvo developed together, right?
So far the only vehicle that uses the CMA platform is the Volvo XC40

Carmakers follow a global standard for reliabity and safety, so it all boils down on proper maintenance. All brands encounter lemons, even the established carmakers. Buy with confidence.

Revisiting this sir Rey since the Ford Terri juz came out. I think the design of Coolray still beats the Ford though, but then Ford dealers are everywhere so more convenient when servicing. What would u personally prefer?
The Territory competes more against the Azkarra than the Coolray. Both lean toward luxury while Coolray is drive performance.
@@ReygansRides i guess by dimensions u'r right. In that case the azkarra seems to be at a disadvantage on brand recognition, service network, features and price.

In Malaysia market, it will soon be rebadged as Proton X50.

You should mention it is only available in Manila. They will not deliver to other locations and customers outside Manila will have no servicing or repair. It will be a wasted warranty and difficulties in getting spare parts. Be careful of salesmen promises until they receive the reservation amount. That's when they will give you the shocking news.
Would you recommend this car? Also, among the sub compact car can you rate the coolray.
It is currently the best value and performance in its segment.

Hmm, CX-5 is more expensive than the Coolray. Coolray is around 1.1m or less while the CX-5 ranges from ₱1,730,000 - ₱2,350,000.
Its brother Azkarra's top spec is 1.5m less. Depends on your budget. I'd say give Geely a chance, Chinese cars are changing and they are getting better and better.

Ryan, please confirm from the dealer if the transmission is covered by the dealer because when I spoke to an agent they told me it's only the engine, which give me some concerns because it's a new product new gearbox technology ect.

dont compare the Volvo to the Geely.... geely did buy Volvo, they share the same CMA platform, but they aren't in the same league and are not built to the same spec, XC40 overall is a more luxury premium experience than any Geely

Coolray is 5-seater vs Tiggo8 which is 7 seater. Coolray for performance, Tiggo8 for practicality/usable space.
