    Still have the 2022 Tiguan Allspace in R line trim with the 1.5 TSI. While 150hp is not much I can’t really complain. It’s not the most economical engine, and it does “whine” while pushing it. But I think it does the job quite nicely. Last year I hit 240 km/hr with 7 people on board. That is impressive for such a small engine.
    It’s also very smooth and quick off the line, and gets off well in normal driving conditions. It’s only when you want to push it hard, that you notice it lacks torque and power, l and gets whiney, but who buys this type of car for performance anyway?
    Even uphill sections are no problem for this engine, with people and luggage on board.
    Great reliable family car and one of the best in its class despite not exciting its confidence inspiring going around safely.

    I don’t understand how brands are selling these petrol cars. It has to be because they don’t provide any diesel alternative. My wife got a qashqai petrol company car, and I test it by using it to go on vacations. I was surprised with the bad fuel economy: 33 Mpg going all the way with cruise control at 70mph. I had to refuel before arriving at my destination 😅 Last year I did the same journey in my 2011 530d (CC at 85mph) and I got 43mpg. We’re living in a new expensive world!

      My neighbor has 2 Ferraris. A 458 Speciale and a Roma. The 458 is so in demand, he bought the car from a private seller and when the Ferrari dealer found out, they banned that seller from getting any new special cars. Then they also blocked my neighbor from getting any cars direct from the dealer until he went to a couple Ferrari events and also agreed first right of refusal should he sell the 458. Then he had to start a 'proper relationship' with them because he wanted the Purosangue and the SF90 or 12 Cilndri. He had to get the Roma or an F8 first and since he already had a 458, there was no use in getting the F8. So his girlfriend wanted a car, and they agreed that he could forgo the Roma and get an FF or GT4C but she wanted newer and he got the Roma thag he must keep for 6 months and then he can sell it back..at a loss, for a Purosangue. I told him he should have gotten a Urus, but hes all about that image. He has a Rolls-Royce Phantom II, an MC20 and the Alfa 4C. He looks like a guy that would have a C6 Corvette ZR1 or a Porsche 718 with a GT2RS bodykit

    This car looks like a Suzuki S-Cross , i think that the old one looked way better an more robust.
    The center knob is really a "missed oportunity" , i just don't unterstand why the put the driving modes as an option and not something much more useful like the fan speed or the temperature.
    And yes , the quality is poor , epsecially in the plastic screen in front of the co-driver seat. Much better quality in a Kia Sportage or even a MG HS.

    Well personally I think the gear selector on the stalk behind the steering wheel is horrendous, as a person that has difficulty with my movement I find it very difficult to reach the control when located there & mercedes are even worse. I'd much prefer it in the center console area as I'm sure many others would for similar reasons that's why some people still put it in the center console for ease of access for all types of drivers.

    • @lm1314
      @lm1314 4 месяца назад +1

      I seen people struggle to put the in neutral at car washes. The stalk is too sensitive, and they keep shifting between reverse and drive. At least when in center console it is easier. If was like older stalk shifters, would be a different story for has notches. I just drove a 1992 Chevy pickup with that type of shifter. You know where you are based on clicks. Like that in center ones also. Or at least mostly still like that.

    I bought a 2024 Tiguan R-Line Allspace top of the rrange.
    The steering wheel buttons comes with " slide and press " no more accidental touch.
    I try that heaps of times and just by touching it it won't change anything.
