Kenneth Kates I would go with either Dune or Mass Effect since personal field generators in Star Wars emit radiation harmful to the wearer-a shield that will kill you or cripple you is a disqualifying factor; not only that, but Mass Effect shields protect against energy blasts and kinetic energy and firearms.
Don't know about Dune but I think Halo's shields reign supreme due to the fact that they can absorb melee attacks, lasers, falls from high heights and can be used to project electromagnetic blasts.
Boy, I can't wait to read about the YVH in the _New_ _Jedi_ _Order_ series. They sound so good and I'm already looking forward to see how the New Republic was able to turn the tide against the Vong. I loved using Dark Troopers in EaW:FoC. I would use a small force of various models to take out lightly defended planets but sometimes added a few to my main army. I loved to imagine the faces of Rebels and Consortium troops at the sight of a Dark Trooper ripping through their flanks while they were facing an AT-AT walker.
Size, durability etc. Ok, it is important but why whould you make 100 Dark troopers phase two with armor immune to light sabers if you can make 2000 normal droids with some powerfull rocket lunchers and even normal gums that will totaly overtake this 100 expensiv and long prodused troopers. For me the biggest adwantage of the droids sholud not be how good they are but how chep they are and how fast you can produse them to flood enemy in droids that after battel you can just melt and make more droids from them. Sorry for my English and have a good day.
The swarm strategy sounds great on paper, but in Star Wars, it has proven to not work so well for the CIS. The B1s were very cheap and were used to swarm, but more often than not, the much more expensive and much lower number Clone Troopers were able to outperform them in every way. You can have 10 Dark Troopers take on a pair of Jedi and expect them to have a good chance at killing the Jedi. But send in a thousand B1s against the same pair of Jedi, and honestly they just become scrap metal. Plus, you have less versatility with the swarm option. There are situations where you just can't fit that many cheap droids onto the battlefield, and so you'd be better off having fewer high quality droids. You don't want a bunch of incompetent droids as bodyguards, for example.
@@greymms3603 I don't think so. B1s were just so stupidly incompetent that I don't think even a thousand of them against 2 jedi would have a high chance of winning. Jedi are highly resourceful, and unless the battle is out in a totally open clearing, the B1s can't shoot all at once. The Jedi can use the environment to their advantage, push the B1s into a choke point where their numbers can be controlled, etc. Heck, Master Yoda and some injured clones in literally the first episode of Clone Wars were able to take out an obscene number of B1s (who had tanks as well) without losing a single clone. Sure, Yoda's a master, but he also seemed like he wasn't even trying hard at all to accomplish this. Like that whole mission was just him giving the clones a teaching moment. And in another early episode of the Clone Wars, a couple of rookie clones, Rex, and Cody were able to hold out against a large number of droids as well, including Commandos. Even Padme with no combat experience whatsoever can be seen taking down some B1s in Ep2. R2D2, a freaking astromech droid, even takes out some B2s, because they're just that incompetent.
@@ShadeSlayer1911 Ok, but I never said i would build whole army only from this droids, but I think that having a droids as part of your army for swarming enemy positions when you don't want to luse men's or just more walabel units. For me if droids can or can't defit jedai have no meaning. How often droids have to faight jadais in scale of galactic war an how much meaning it have from tactical point of veiu? For killing jadis you have special, elite troops. And changing this special troops by special elite droids for me is whole diferent topic.
Would you ever do a Droid/Robot vs comparison from other series?? Like a Cylon vs a T-100 type comparison????? love the videos, keep up the great work.

@@emirwattabor6991 for how many vong they could kill before they were destroyed (often with a lot of vong as well due to the self destruct) they were mass produced.
The B3 reminds me of a protomech from battletech, except without a pilot. It even fills nearly the same role.
The Forerunners (Halo) vs The Chaos (Warhammer 40k)
I'm going with chaos
CHAOS
Chaos, is the only true answer.
@@raendymion3149 of course
I have to agree with the Heretics. Chaos wins
Lando showcasing/pitching a T-800 on steroids that's designed to troll it's targets before killing them is one of those things I never knew I needed.
Autumn class cruiser vs an ISD
Also 4:33 I just noticed that on the front left AT-TE has four clones beneath it, though thats not what I noticed, I noticed that one of those clones was shot and he fell, I found that comical and astonishing that the creators of The Attack of the Clones put that much detail in their movie.
Personal shield technology compared Dune Halo Mass Effect and Star Wars
Kenneth Kates I would go with either Dune or Mass Effect since personal field generators in Star Wars emit radiation harmful to the wearer-a shield that will kill you or cripple you is a disqualifying factor; not only that, but Mass Effect shields protect against energy blasts and kinetic energy and firearms.
@@ciridaehunter2601 what about Halo?
Vic don’t know anything about them, otherwise I would have an answer-I just know about Mass Effect and Star Wars
Don't know about Dune but I think Halo's shields reign supreme due to the fact that they can absorb melee attacks, lasers, falls from high heights and can be used to project electromagnetic blasts.
@@trickydiagram5267 I believe they're also frictionless, so it you have them on the soles of your feet then you'd be able to glide across the ground

*hears Terminator theme with the YVH*
YVH: *HASTA LA VISTA YOU ARE TERMINATED*
Inured YVH: *"GET TO THE CHOPPAAHHHAAAAAHHHHHHHH"*
Factions compared is the reason I subscribed
damn i never knew that the new republic made a vong killing terminator
I mean, its a possibility and i think those dark troopers can be wore as suits. And besides its always nice to have droids guard a secret base
@@ShadeSlayer1911 1000 B1s against 2 jedis, they might just die
Thunderjaw (Horizon Zero Dawn) vs Indominus Rex
The Thunder Jaw is made of steel and have disc launchers.....
The YVH 1 is definitely the right pick.
Just the fact that they built a droid specifically to troll the Vong always cracks me up.

2 Harrower Dreadnaughts vs 1 Imperial Star Destroyer
Assuming the ships on a technological par, then it would be the Harrower Dreadnoughts.
1. Is not as exposed as the ISD series
2. Hybrid battleship/carrier: so it can bring many fighters while dishing out its own weapons.
3: POINT DEFENSE!!! It was standard for ships of that era to have those
I could say more, but those are my biggest reasons.
Can you do speculation on a different Star Wars universe where the Tarkin Doctrine, Death Stars, and Starkiller Base was never created. Where Palpatine took an idea from Thrawn and improved the imperial navy.

What´s a shatter beam?
The Dark Trooper Phase III would be less a droid and more an armed exoskeleton with droid brain IMO.
My personal favorite is the YVH as it combines the highest amount of versatility in the most compact package (humansize).
But i don´t like the whole Yuzan Vong stuff as they seem to excuse Palpatine and his Death Star projects.

You should really do the B3 ultra battle droid vs the phase 3 dark trooper
So nobody was going to tell me that the New Republic had Terminators until today huh
You should do a vid on the best droids across different video games, shows, books, or movies, to see which one would be the best droid for a conflict.
Dark Trooper project will always be my favorite.
Also would be nice to see thr Droid star/air craft comparison.
Don't forget thier was also an entry that a battalion of old Seperatist B2's in a warehouse were activated and engaged a regement of Vong fire breathers. with only light casualties. That's one of the few engagements where the Vong ws driving off with light casualties. It was in one the new new essential guide to droids and their is a lot of people who want to find a book on it.
This video could of just been filled with droids from the CIS
