If you don't care for the row system, you'd probably like it better with the Shattered Grid expansion which introduces a constantly changing secondary row and creates more variety of cards to pick from.

I played a 1v2 game where the villain mopped the floor with the rangers. so I don't think the power rangers are very OP. granted I knew what I was doing, well over the other players that might not have understood the mechanics of the game as much as me. in a lopsided game like this the 1 player starts at half the other sides health points but has 2 turns per round. I was Scorpinia, I can't remember what her power is. but I managed to empower fairly quickly, and the rangers didn't. I also managed to get my health pretty much up to 30 with all my healing effects.
still a fun deck builder. probably won't see the table much as I don't think my group is interested in the theme as much as I am. since the nostalgia is there for me.
the expansions add some neat things, and new characters with different abilities are always nice.
Thing I'm most happy with is, the fact that each of these deck building games recently released by Renegade games studio feel different from each other.
Transformers, has you roaming a grid like map to buy cards and fight decepticons (or the other way around if you want to play the bad guys)
Gi Joe has you co-operatively going through missions and utilizing different vehicles to take down Cobra
My Little Pony Adventures in Equestria has you taking on challenges co-operatively. while also solving tasks at different town locations.
then power rangers teaming up to fight villains and acquiring the zords and masters.

I like the GIJoe DBG best out of these. Really nice coop deck builder.

I love Renegade deck-builders. Transformers is my favorite, followed by G.I. Joe. I have Power Rangers, but I made the mistake of assuming that it had a solo mode. I just haven't had anyone to play with.

Played two time, maybe not enough to do a proper review but İ will give maybe 3 following your review point. Looks like a deck building card with a power ranger suite...

I have played 1v1 and the bad guys and power rangers have won if you get the masters in the lair they become more powerful. it is very hard to get the zord if your the rangers.

Played 6 or 7 times, and the rangers won all but one game.

I'm a massive PR fan, but this game was just kinda meh. Moved on after 2 games. Art is fantastic though.
