No worries Orange Nebula doesn't just invite Alex and Meg to play a game with them, there will be some content there to make you spend your money, just be patient :) And yes, it's Vindication with a post apocalyptic vibes.
OMG, so many people who didn't watch the introduction. :) Insane amount of campaigns out right now. Add this in with all the sales happening this month for other consumerism items, and I just think it's too much. Publishers need to avoid launching in November.
World order: When they obviously removed content to make the expansion I thought no. Then when you read about all the balance issues that probably won't get fixed, then the game seems to take a lot longer than advertised, I was out.
Interesting that on the Clans of Caledonia campaign nobody seems to mention the mess and controversy Karma Games created around the triple shipping of their three campaigns (together with Thiefdom and Millenia). Backers of those other two campaigns got really screwed- just read the comments in the Thiefdom Kickstarter! Backers are really angry, frustrated and feel betrayed. Maybe that should be the topic of a separate video… Apparently the approach was coordinated with Kickstarter but I would be surprised if Kickstarter will allow this again in the future. A small company like Karma Games just doesn’t have the capacity to do this so it was rather obvious that it ended in such a mess.
They mentioned the combined shipping of all three campaigns at the time of the Thiefdom campaign but mentioned that the last campaign (Clans of Caledonia) would start in Nov 23 and the pledge manager would open in Dec 23. But because of the delay in the development of Clans of Caledonia which got pushed back by a year, this pushed back the delivery of Thiefdom also by more than a year. So most Thiefdom backers are really upset that their game is massively delayed due to the delay in another unrelated game which they have not backed and no interest in. The timeline given during the Thiefdom campaign was just totally unrealistic and bundling those games was a massive mistake. Just read the comments in the Thiefdom campaign - a lot of really upset and angry people…
I'm confused. How come you aren´t including Vestige? You've even visited them and played the game. Btw, will you give your thoughts on the game from your time playing it? :)
Seems he forgot Vestige. But yeah, it's not that good. The thousand small expansion packs make it super expensive for what it is, the board is tiny, GameTrayz extra expensive, transparent pieces locked behind GameTrayz extra cost, ... On the other hand there are still 18 days left as it seems. So, probably next week or the week after next week, he will mention it.
I like the small form factor, but yeah I get the impression, that they are trying the ctg route, but without the component quality to back it up. Especially unsettled all in in Europe was funny, you could get it earlier and for about 30% less, including all backer extras.
Clans of Caledonia is a no brainer for me. Love the game but barely missed it when it was in stock few years ago D: Not going to take my chances any more and will get it XD Pretty much the reason why I backed Thiefdom in the first place, which is a bit frustrating as I thought I would be getting the games by the end of this year
I’m not here for Vestige. I’m here for the time stamps! Is it poor or perfect timing for Defenders of the Realm just as everyone gets Freedom Five which has been heavily compared to?
EVERYONE looking for Alex input on Vestige... LIKE WE DON'T KNOW ALREADY 😂 But come on, next episode we need to hear you say it Alex 😂

Really interested in Vestige but desperate to see some gameplay footage first as not played vindication. Waiting for the footage to drop

Lol yep :)
I talked myself out of Tanares and Sweet Lands since I already have similar games and just can't justify the $ and space obligation at this time.

What exactly is the issue?

I'll be getting to other campaigns in future weeks. These are in order of how soon they're ending and that has 18 days left.
Honestly, the problem is that they're relying on BGC and only BGC for any outside info on vestige.

How about Catharsis 2nd Printing on Gamefound? It’s a fantastic game! Especially for solo play.
I'll be covering it 🙂
Tanares Expedition supposed to get crossover kit so all of it can be used in ultimate Tanares. At that point they are sucking in old collectors.

Wow pick of the week is a war themed game for alex!
That's a good point, I don't know why this one gets a pass, probably for the same reason of v sabotage, The attachment to the commandos theme

Interesting point, I didn't even think of that
Fable Fury is also designed by a popular RUclipsr
Ah interesting, I totally didn't know that
mm came looking for the same - no Vestige? Maybe its going to get its own
