    This channel is so extremely underrated. Not only is your voice soothing, it makes all the difference when your talking about watches. Normally, talking about watch straps for 10+ minutes would be extremely boring, but you make it so interesting! This channel needs more love, I hope more views come your way!

    Perfect choice of bund for your watch....looks stunning on the bund... Thanks for the history of the Bund and why they were made .. I have always worn watches on a bund as I find them to be total comfort... Incidentally the Russian manufacturer I believe I have used.. If it's the same company the guy is called Igor.... My first strap from him is the best I have ever purchased and I been using bunds for approx 55 years... I highly recommend him to anyone considering purchasing a bund .. top marks on your presentation... I have liked and subscribed...

    I have a Bulova Accutron railroad watch from my grandfather that’s about the same size as this watch that I think this strap would make it wearable again. Great solution!

      It might. I suggest making a paper model just like I did so you can see how it might look.

    That looks so much better on the bund. I am in the process of looking for a new strap for my Father's early 1950's Accurist watch. This has 17mmblug width and is Yellow Gold with a cream dial and lots of patina. Can't decide on whether to gi light Brown, dark Brown or Black!! I previously fitted a dark Blue Alligator to it and it really doesn't suit it. Enjoyed the video. Keep 'em coming

      Depends how you will be dressed while wearing it. I'm going through a similar decision with a gold watch I have. Video coming out next week on the watch and following up with a new strap after that. I think I'm going with brown even though I'll probably be wearing it with a black or grey suit.

    That strap will look even better with the watch and enhance the overall vibe once it's gotten some wear. Bund straps are very practical, and not just for aviators. Anyone who's outdoors in extreme conditions can benefit from using one. I might pick up one of some sort for my grandfather's 35mm Doxa automatic.

    Your decision to use a bund strap was a good one. The strap does indeed make the smaller watch look more proportional to your wrist.

    Well done. I will too look for a vintage inspired watch to tribute my father who served in the Korean Conflict. Please tell me, about your Ball watch, did you use an AD or buy direct from Ball? And care you share the AD if you purchased from that.

    • @mtcp122
      @mtcp122 3 года назад +2

      They still used the A-11 in that war. The key difference being that the case back would be inscribed with Ordnance Corps, not Ordnance Department since it was reorganized after WW2. More likely however he wore an A-17.
