To funny, when you talked about the orb weavers. When my son and I played for the first time, we ran up to orb spiders and got total destroyed. We had a few backpacks to recover. So true about the sounds the spiders make. To this day if a wolf spider walks up on me, it will make me jump =P
You pretty much nailed it. I’ve been playing exploration/survival games for a bit: Don’t Starve, Long Dark, Subnautica etc but this game imo pretty much nails it perfectly. I adore the theme and aesthetic of the game, how each teen comments on different scenarios they’re currently in, the music, challenge, handles food and water well, build varieties. I could go on and on plus I’ve been experiencing the game as slow as possible and loved every minute of it. Currently just got to the undershed area and still exploring the NE upper yard plus actually building a new base outside the start zone. I wish I got into the multiplayer more so. Maybe one day but I’m enjoying it solo for now. I’m glad Obsidian did an overall good job with a new IP. It shows what they’re capable of in terms of mixing up a crowded game genre and hopefully gives more freedom and budget for this game or sequels future.
Can I just say something….. I love this game as much as you do boys. It is a blessing for real. But I have one major grief. Literally just ONE thing that interrupts me from enjoying this game as much as I should. And that is….. the goddamn TWINKLING SHELLS. Like why? Why make it so Grindy to get level 9 gear this way? It’s not enjoyable. They have done so many things to make it more fun (the new bigger back pack included) I get it. Grab some aphid slippers and go hunting…. But it’s not fun 50 times bro. I love just setting up a small base and exploring new areas…. But I can’t beat a widow without top tier gear but to get top gear I have to go and grind some bullshit way too fast enemy it doesn’t make sense. To recap: I’m happy to grind. I like the game. The game is unbalanced.

😆 night time, if they surprise me, it still gets me.

No doubt! I think there's so much more to explore with this title in general. We'll see if anything comes of it.
"an animated series of Grounded.." is that true?
I would love to watch it, and love watching your vids👍
yes, it is! really looking forward to it!
Absolutely! Haven't heard any news lately though.
Hopefully it stays true to the theme of the game.
@@OriginalRyan agreed, but I‘m optimistically looking forward to it, if obsidian is actively involved in any way.
I think it could be good & if it is, maybe we get further Grounded game content in the future!

Perfect comment! The grind for gear & weapons really takes away from the game at times & it should be more fluid.
