Happy New Year's Eve everyone! 2022 will be continue to be the year of EV's and we're excited to show you guys all the upcoming new vehicles coming in 2022. Jeep claims this is the best-selling hybrid in America right now and it'll soon be joined by the Grand Cherokee 4xe, which we should be driving very soon. Hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year and on behalf of the Redline team, we wanted to thank everyone for your continued support this year as we continue to pump out content to show you all the latest new vehicles!

We've owned the 4xe since July, and it's been perfect so far. Took a while for us to install the level 2 charger but it's only had 5 fill ups since then with most trips within 10-15 miles for us. It did recently go into gas/oil recycle mode to burn off the old gas in the tank though.

The 4xe, diesel, 392, 2.0T, AND 3.6...street wheels, 33s, 35s, Rubicon...what more could you want in a vehicle. Sure, the Bronco is the new kid on the block and may even be slightly better to drive and comfortable on the inside. But with quality woes, poor delivery processes(if you ever get one in the first place), AND the insane dealer markups...the JL is the way to go. I'm sure the next-gen will go IFS(even MB was forced to do it on the G-Wagen), but I love how Jeep still allows heavy customization plus the aftermarket community is immense!

Love my 4xe Sahara in Sarge Green. One thing nice about the 4xe Sahara is it has the beefier Dana 44 axle up front vs the 35 on the gas powered Saharas, so a bit more capable off road than a gas Sahara out of the box. These are a great deal, especially on a lease, if you shop the right dealers and are willing to travel for pickup.

It has a very small gas tank so if you charge once and run the tank it’s about 250 miles. But it’s meant to spend most of its time around town charged. I generally go 600-1000 miles per tank when mixed with daily overnight charging.

@@Wrangler4XEFans That's good. We need a slower transition period away from ICE's and gas production or else some industries will not adapt fast enough and the workers will suffer. That said, I see at least 10 full EV's every day on my short ride to work, and several more Hybrids. 2022 will be very telling for this industry.

    • @Wrangler4XEFans

@@MTB_Rider_96 It's going to be a long slow transition. There are all sorts of fear mongers on social media repeating statements made by radio and TV talk show hosts that just aren't true. It's going to take a long time because a quick transition would actually do a lot of environmental damage. A forced quick transition would also do a lot of damage to the economy. A forced quick transition would also impact those on the lower end of the economic spectrum tremendously. Beyond that, the supply chain just can't adapt that quickly. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of electrification but there are realities that can't be easily overcome.

If it offered manual I would really consider it but it doesn’t and no EV does so that is why I’m not in love with these cars! Call me old school but I love to drive and high on the RPM and I really do not care about gas prices because it’s the cost of living to drive Manuel and sport cars and wranglers. Now after that I do like hybrids just not the no manual option.
