you DID NOT delete your MS account, what you did just switch your MS account to Local Account only. That is mean if you sign in MS account with your email and password your account still there.
After create a local account go to setting - account then the remove button showup beside the Microsoft mail

Para quem quiser realmente excluir a conta, depois que trocar para conta local, basta ir até o Painel de Controle, Contas, clicar em gerenciar outra conta, selecionar a conta Microsoft e clicar no botão excluir.

That doesn't tell me how to remove an MS account. It shows how to log in with a local account. Pants
Exactly this is not removing the account this is just signing out it makes no sense
so I followed the st5eps in this video, but when signing back into local account the password didn't work, only the PIN for microsoft account worked...to get back on local, why did microsoft PIN work but not the new password for local?

Some settings may be set by your organization. In the future, the option to sign in with a local account will be removed from all Windows 11 devices, regardless of whether or not it is linked to an organization. If your device is not linked to an organization, you should take this time now and check which Microsoft account you want to link to the user account.
(You can create a new user without linking a Microsoft account, but if you link one and then change your mind, you will need to delete and recreate the user.)

Microsoft has stopped local account now., they keep shit up I will have to to Linux.
This information is out dated -- it no longer applies to Windows 11 as of November 2023. Do some more work on this.
How so, this is exactly how I just set up my new PC on December 10th? Update Feature Version 23H2. If you're on a company PC, it's likely that the option is removed to avoid people bypassing the UAC that protects company files.
Well, this must have been a later version because it doesn't work anymore. I know that Microsoft has been making changes to the OS over the past year that have clamp down the ability to setup a new instance of Windows 11 without using an existing or new Microsoft account--and they have even extended that to Pro versions! When I used an existing account, logged in and tried to create a new administrator account I was not able to delete the original MS account used for setup, it stayed there no matter what I did. So my guess is that they have plugged that hole too. I am just done with this draconian "our way or the highway" at Microsoft, I am done with them. I was setting up this laptop for my wife, but will now abandon that and just get her a laptop with Linux.

Brand new PC. I haven't tried to delete the MS account version, but I did sign out of it after creating a new Admin account and there is definitely a "remove" option... I'm only up and running for a couple weeks so I haven't gotten around to deleting the account. If it's not possible when I go to do it, I will find a registry workaround.
Linux is fine for the more saavy users... and it's gotten better for general users over the decades, but it's still not as easy to use as windows (I'm not TOO current, last Linux version I tried was maybe 2018). Good luck and Happy Holidays!
I don't have the PC with windows 11 on it anymore I took it back to Costco. I will see if I can get ahold of a recent version and try it again. I know that the actual build ver. changes almost weekly; Microsoft is intent on removing any work-arounds that thwarts their business model, so... Soon, you won't be able to buy a perpetual license copy of Windows, they will require a monthly or annual subscription to keep it running, just wait and see.

I just did my mom's the night before last... initially with wi-fi connected, so it updated to the latest installer (though it was a Win10 clean install)... it very much wanted a MS email... though with that one, all I had to do was unscrew the wifi antenna and "no internet, continue with a local account" came up on reboot.
I know what you're saying about subscriptions, though I've always been surprised that I could upgrade from Win 7 all the way to 11 (if I recall, Win98 went to XP as well). I guess I'm one of those that think if a company puts in work... they might want some money. Personally, I don't have any issue with paying for an operating system provided it's acceptably functional (being complex, I expect SOME hardware conflicts and such).
At the same time, I'm a little bit old school. I still use Apache Open Office rather than MS Office... I rarely pay for software if there is a suitable free (or ad sponsored) option that is robust enough for my needs. I did learn Excel and Access in college, though I don't need as robust a solution for my life (and I don't even use the Base in OpenOffice, I tried it out once, it's not AS intuitive as Access).
