Microsoft makes windows so unfriendly to use for normal people.
You know what is scary part is, I did all of that several weeks ago and now it is back. And I am going from video to video and none of those options are even on my settings anymore. Fucking hate windows. Is there any other platform that is tyranny free?

Okay so, if i delete my microsoft account, it wont completely wipe my pc? Is the microsoft account just like a label and a sign in piece?
Yes, it will only delete the account from your computer. It wont actually delete the account or anything on the computer. Just disconnect the two from each other :)

I did this but all the files from my other Microsoft account are still on the desktop, how do I remove EVERYTHING that was associated with that account from the new pc?
go to your account settings, go to "Email & account," then click on the account you want to remove and remove it. Make sure your on a local log in first. after all of this, unlink you one drive account from the computer. To do this, go to you one drive settings, and from there you should see a button that says, "unlink," press that and you should be good to go.

No, your not deleting the account. Your just removing it from this computer. It will still exist as well as other comptuers linked to it will still be linked.

I am having trouble starting my laptop it is a Windows and when I start it the screen is just black and when I hold the power button the laptop just starts of and on I can't do anything and I am very confused
If the screen is black, what are the signs that the computer is on? Lights, Fan, Motherboard or Hard Drive sounds?
@@PC_Monkey hello again thanks for the response but I have figured out the problem the fan wasn't on it seemed so I checked the mother board and eventually after some thinking I solved was as wrong unfortunately the screen was completely gone tho it seems some step on it but idk thanks for the help I learned how to do it from one of your old videos

You didn't delete "really" your Microsoft Account, you just bypassed it !

Hi, can I go to the setting , click on the Microsoft account, and click on remove it? Will this be the same as deleting?
Will remove or delete this Microsoft account cause me to lose any pdf attachments I save over the year? I don't know or understand this technology stuff. Just know enough to get around. Please respond 🙏
No, removing he account wont delete any files :) And removing the account wont delete it. Its just deletes it from this computer. It still exists, just is no longer signed into this computer. Hope that makes sense :)

My computer has stopped updating. It is an Acer windows 10.. it runs very slowly too and freezes up a lot these days. Can I add more memory and how too make it faster. Don't know if this enough or the info is being asked in properly... I am not too tech savvy

@@PC_Monkey My Win10 Dell laptop does not have that option under Accounts either -- not in Your Info nor in Sign In Options. I even tried searching for that phrase and came up with nothing.... :(

I have a mini pc with Windows 11 pro. I want to sell it to a friend. It came with an oem Windows 11 license. If I set the computer to local login, how do I disassociate my Microsoft account from the computer?
I've been having the same issue. To completely remove the account you need to go to your account settings. Then go to "Email & accounts." from there, click on the email you want to remove, and there should be a remove button. Then click remove. Make sure to do this after setting your pc to a local log in. This is how I did it. Hope this helps.
You may also have to unlink your onedrive fro the pc.

After i have "removed" my microsoft account from my computer, it still shows the picture of my microsoft account, even tho im login in with a local account
How do i remove the pfp? It has me bothering for the last hours
To give some more into, when I enter the configuration menu it shows the normal predetermined profile pic, but then, on both the log in screen with the local account AND the my information section of the configuration it shows the profile picture of my Microsoft account

Hi mate i have a laptop that has organizational account but i dont have the password and user id and i want to reset it to default so i can use it with my personal account ….how do i do that???
Best way would be to get your organization to remove their account. Are you able to do that?
@@PC_Monkey so i work as removal so i found them in the recyling bin they were dumping cz i thing they r getting new ones so i thought of using it if i could crack the password for that that would be of great help……and also i dont work for their organization

This is just removing the microsoft account from your computer. This does not erase any DATA on your computer :)

WOW!!!!.........I do appreciate you showing this update on "How To". A month ago, or so I mentioned that if I tried logging on to MS it would freeze my window and it seems as if my computer would go into safe mod. You asked if I was using the correct password and It is the correct one (i have a written list to be certain). I'm not sure this will fix my issue. I can use Chrome or Firefox. I have been using Microsoft Edge but without logging in. If I try (which I won't) logging in. It locks my screen (freezes) and I can not advance to do anything on my system.
I used my parents email for my Xbox a while ago and that somehow made me the owner of the computer so hopefully this will work so it will give them their computer back

Sign in with a local account is no longer there. Windows decided to create an account for me with my email. Even worse they added my new laptop with a different email to my account. They also added a very old laptop that hasn’t been plugged in or powered on in over a year.
I can’t turn off updates. You can no longer take it off line to stop updates. I feel like Microsoft owns my laptops and they “let me use them.”
It does feel like that sometimes lol. hate it!
