Welcome back to another episode of Shoe Care Academy with Jonny Bubbles. Today we’re rocking with one of the most popular sneakers of 2021-2022, the New Balance 550.
Megell didn’t get these all-white New Balance 550’s dirty enough, so Jonny took the liberty and wrecked them even more.

With our Deep Clean Signature Bundle on deck, we’re ready to give these shoes a proper clean. Stay tuned for some insane before and after comparisons…spoiler alert; our sneaker cleaner did a number on these.
Jonny started as he always does by removing the shoe laces and inserting the Adjustable Shoe Trees. Then he put two squirts of our Sneaker Cleaning Solution into the water and got to work with the Soft Bristle Brush.
After the first pass through with the Soft Bristle Brush, most of the surface dirt is gone, but some deeper stains remain. To attack these tough stains, Jonny used the Medium Bristle Brush. Then, he used the Stiff Bristle Brush to clean the outsole.
In order to flush out the mesh portions of these shoes and get them looking bright and white again, we’re going to run them through our sneaker laundry system using our Laundry Bag and Sneaker Laundry Detergent.
Jonny placed the shoe in the bag along with the laces and a Sneaker Laundry Pod, and put them through a full wash cycle in the washing machine.
After letting them air dry, all that’s left is to lace them back up.

Normal cycle with cold water is what we recommend for the washing machine.
How did you clean the mesh? I recently got a tiny red stain at the end of the mesh near the front of the shoe and I don’t know how to get rid of it. I got the cream black

6:14 no creases, no any marks on worn down NB 550? come on, it's new sneakers made look like worn down in 5 minutes, I can clean anything made dirty 5 mins ago with just soap and brush

How come you never show detail pics of the bottoms? It’s very sus. You did the same thing when you cleaned the white vans, white af1s and another white shoe in the same vid. I think you just display a DS shoe for the after. No creases and no close up of the bottoms. You don’t gotta fake it to make it. We love your products but when I tried to do the same thing as you did step by step on some white vans I didn’t get the same results. Yours were too crispy like it’s was straight from the store.
We don't fake it! We clean one shoe to show the before and afters for all videos.
@@RESHOEVN8R I get that but the only person that really shows in depth detail with his cleaning and restorations is Vick. You didn’t give any close ups on the outsoles.
