It's nice to see that you gave it a second chance and proved that it's worth the money for starting the Hobby, I mean we have to start from somewhere..right? I recently saw another review from a guy that he's well experienced and does a lot of reviews about crawlers, When i saw him review this one I was looking forward but his comments were only, don't bother, leave it only for the kids, not worth the Time etc. I mean, why not just saw where its needs to be improved and maybe, just maybe it may have potential, after all if you want the Hobby to expand and see more people trying to have interest into the hobby but off course they are on a strict budget this might be the solution. I still believe that it might not be as good as a proper SCX10 but it just works.
Good feedback I bought myself one a couple of weeks ago and got two more coming for my kids. Funny this is the first time I watch your videos and I had already decided to get the axle servo mount and I also extended the front lower links to fix the caster. I also used 1mm spacers/washers on the front spindle behind the hex pin and have no slop on the front wheels now 👍
Scx10 ii (clone) Hobbywing 1060 60A brushed esc, same servo that u used, dumporc x4 transmitter with receiver, 3s 4200mah 35C battery with a balance charger, same shocks that u used but I will use a 100mm shocks, same axle servo mount that u used, same drive shafts that u used, jeep wrangler hard body with some accessories, leds, roof leds, angle eye leds and finally a Gt power engine sound system. Any advice? By the way I also buy from ali express
Hi. I guess you need to decide what you’re trying to achieve. Scale looks, crawling ability or a combination. For example I use a very small 3s lipo (1000 mAh) to keep the cg as forward and as low as possible. Only lasts about 15 minutes though. Everything is a compromise. Recently I added more lead into the front wheels and this really helped with climbing. I also changed to a 550T motor to get more low down torque. There is no end to this hobby. That’s why we love it!!!!
Hello my friend. Thanks for sharing your build. Have you seen much of the recent offerings from RGT? EX86110 and 86120. I am looking to build a 1/10 crawler and am thinking whether I should build from a kit (like you did) or start with an RTR. The RGT is quite nicely done from what I’ve seen. Thanks in advance.
Hi. I have had no experience with RGT. Sorry for that. I guess it depends on what you are trying to achieve. Self build, you can design and build what you want. I.e. good crawler ability and low cg. You cannot decide this with a complete kit, however you can modify later. If you want more flexibility, the self build is the answer. That is why I did a self build. Hope this helps.
@@stephenhughcrisp The new RGT has its motor in the front above the axle. It is front and higher, compared to the Injora which is middle and lower. Which one is better in terms of center of gravity Bro? Thanks!
Climbing ability is strongly related to bringing weight forward and keeping the cg low. I would rather have the motor in a lower position, and add lead to the front wheels. I think the higher motor will raise the cg too much, which also negatively affects “side-hilling”. Ultimately the proof is testing both vehicles, but this is also not practical if you don’t have both. Summary: in my opinion the lower motor will perform better.
Hey Stephen, just an update, I ended up buying a used RGT EX86110. Got it for a good price, so far I’m liking it, it looks to me the servo could be the first point to upgrade, it’s definitely not as snappy as my old Power HD. Also the body is super thin, I have bought supplies to reinforce it. Thanks mate.
thanks for your review. you clearly are knowledgeable in RC crawling. other reviewers are obvious brand bashing paid trolls
Thanks. I tried to remain neutral and just give my honest experience.

Thanks. I will try the washers behind the hex pin. May contact you if I cannot figure it out. Happy building.
Agree with ur opinion. 👍
so helpful i think i will buy that
Happy you found it helpful. Take a look at the build video.

@@stephenhughcrisp yes I want a combination between scale looks and crawling ability
Thank you very much for answer me I appreciate that 💙👍🏼🤜🏻🤛🏻
