I found the axial ar60 spool can be made to fit in the ring gear carrier, which allows the use of aftermarket ujoint style axles.....really you covered all the other shortcomings of this chassis.
Thank you very much I was going to buy a one and u helped me so much (drive shaft, axle servo mount, bump steer, ...) I appreciate that 👍🏼and maybe this is the best dodge power wagon i ever seen 👍🏼😍🔥
Very nice video. One could follow your steps and create a piece of art. NOW, sell it as you enjoy the creation of it and other enjoy enjoying your art work.
Hi thanks. Actually was thinking of portals, however wanted to keep the CG as low as possible. I also upgraded to a 550 motor - this was a huge improvement. I know brushless is the next level….
This chassis is really cheap like only 70 right now, if i wanted to buy it just as a basher because its so cheap and not do any crawling would it be fine stock? Thank you!
Hi Felix. Of the 4 suspension links to the front axle, the bottom ones are those at the bottom of the vehicle. The ones that get scraped and damaged. Hope this helps.
@@stephenhughcrisp Thank you for your prompt feedback, Stephen. Therefore, the top links you shorten it and the bottom links you lengthen it is it ? Btw, great and useful video there.
I have a real Axial SCX10.1, got this kit to make use of my spare parts and to give something to my family to drive. Excited to get the build started.
Very helpful video! You found the perfect solution to the bump steer with that servo on axle mount. Great to see they fit the clone axle. 👍
Great video! Have been planning on buying that chassis.
Will have to get one of those axle mounts for the steering servo for sure!
Great video and I learned alot. What tires did you use .
I actually can’t remember, but they were quite cheap off AliExpress
if that truck is not the best looking and acting thing i have seen anyone do with 1 of those clones.
great build mate.
Thanks for your positive feedback. Much appreciated. Take a look at the 50 hours test report. The clone is actually quite good.

Great build, interesting battery location too 👍👍
Thanks.
Love my clone, Australian and Injora

@@stephenhughcrisp sure. I wouldn't know how though. You could put it on ebay or etsy.

@@stephenhughcrisp I got it, thanks friend and good luck!)
Great work, for the cost I might get the redcat gen8 v2, and make similar mods...
Thanks for your feedback.

Hi Carlos. Yes it will work, but I would still suggest changing some things, like the driveshafts and shocks.
@@stephenhughcrisp thanks‼️
so with the right mods is this copy of the SCX10 worth the Money?
Hi Ripmax. I certainly think so. Had many hours of enjoyment from it.
How did you mount the metal petals.
Not sure what you mean?
Hi Stephen, may I know when you refer to the caster modd, which link are you refer for the modd ? which one is top link and which one is bottom link ?

@@felixsiaw147 that is correct, shorten the top ones and lengthen the lower ones. Thanks for the kind words.
