I'm amazed how much you were able to do with one hand. Like the commenter "Bone Crusher" I too broke my wrist hitting a stump. Nothing seems bent (tie rods etc) but the the handle bars steer about 15 degrees left of center. I doubt I could have jumped a spline. But thanks to your video, I'm not so intimidated about taking things apart.
i learned my lesson on leaving handlebars semi-loose after i landed off a jump and they rolled forward causing me to eat shit....from now on, im willing to sacrifice a set of bars in a roll over lol.
@@ChadHoltHillClimbUSA have more free areas available then paid. Haves beans bike park, lighting raceway, renegade on the ridge, bears creek (there is more riding few miles away). Mines and meadows in pa. Plenty of more. Usually only ride the same place 2 or 3 Times a year. Ride every weekend
Good stuff man! Glad you took the time outta your day to show us how to get it done.

Any link where I can get one fry Amazon but no luck
Did you have to put extended brake lines??
A Scretchen no for stock replacement stem. If you go +2 I believe you have to or try to reroute cables and break line.
I think your meaning to say get this loose
what type of grease did you use?
Marine grade

Thanks
I broke my wrist when I bent my stem and my handlebars and would it be bad if i go with a +2 stem with the yfz bend bars
I rode mine for a year with them like this. Lots of guys like the controls raised but to me that just means more money when I mess up!😬
Chad Holt ok thanks and if you don’t mind me asking where in ohio are you
Central Ohio, we ride south or east.
Is this the same method for a Yfz450r 2014?
I am not sure but in theory it should be really close.
