    Inspecting and replacing your rear axle and axle bearings is a part of maintenance that should be done regularly to ensure that your ATV is running properly. If your feel slop in your rear axle, your machine is most likely in desperate need of axle bearing replacement. In this video Charles shows how to replace the axle bearings on a 2008 Yamaha Raptor 700, but these steps will be very similar for all Raptor 700's.

    GREAT video! Easy decision to support RM ATV when they are continually putting out videos like this. Just did this job, no issues!

    Nice, I just got a carrier from RM last week. My 06 brake hub is seized solid on axle though, and no amount of penetrating oil, heat, or hammering seems to want to free it up. As such, I liked when you cut the footage to sliding it off by hand 😂

      I thought I would die of old age before I got it off, we will just see if I need a new brake disc now lol

    Was wondering, upon removal you removed an oring off the axle on the brake disc side but on installation you referenced an oring on the sprocket side while not putting the oring back on the axle on the brake disc side? I don’t seem to have an oring on the exterior of the sprocket side

    Hi can you also put the upgraded 2 bearing in the carrier instead of the 4 bearings in a raptor 700r 2011 ? Thanks

    Привет! Перед установкой тормозного диска ты не поставил резиновое уплотнительное кольцо. Или ты просто не показал это на видео?

    what about greesing up your bearing carrier

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  15 дней назад +1

      Yes, make sure you are greasing it as well, to help the rust and removal process later in the future.
