That rear gas tank gonna have some issues when hitting some serious bumps, might hit the rear shock🤷🏻 i think you should’ve tried to fit it in the original place in the front
It might be OK because the tri z 250 trike as one under the seat I put the comment before I looked at the tank you might be right but it should work out some how
With how good you have become doing fab, you could totally pull off a low profile air box or 2..... with how much hp that motor will make, im sure it would be worth sacrificing a few to protect that motor. Especially with your mention of sand dunes 😂. Dope build man
now this is why i subcribed, do more with Cboytv they will let you build stuff that would be fun wild and maybe deadly. i subbed to you lol worst way to word it but longer with you. but they are awesome people and you letting them rip the cart knowing it could be " evened " hahaha great. Hope you keep building.
Happy New Year! Great builds this year. Keep up the awesome work... from your uk fan 😀... they sell tyres over here for high-speed quad conversions. fredworx over here in the uk builds some fantastic converted quads
To do this 100% right, you need to keep the air box! There is much R&D the factory has put into that air box design. Things like it’s, volume, shape, intake hole size and the ram tubes on the throttle bodies. Plus, with each throttle pulse reversion when the intake valve closes, this fuel is captured in the airbox and drawn in by another cylinders. I been in the motorcycle performance scene and dyno tuning for many years, every bike of modern times that had its airbox removed lost power! And no tuning can get it back and some bike can lose up to 30 hp. Then retuning the fuel to make it run , means now fuel consumption has increased a lot! More fuel and less power. Find a way to keep the factory air box, modify the top of the frame, or you will have to accept a loss or power and economy. Most gen 1 hyabusa had 155hp at the rear wheel, with air filter and better exhaust 165 to 170hp rear wheel With air box removed and retuned the worst I have seen is 125 hours rear wheel and the best was 135hp. And both were pigs compared to the airbox equiped bikes. Look at the rather b welding builds with no air box, all pigs !

V, you always do everything right. Even that corner. It teaches us, right? I had to lay down my H1 500 at 1 AM to survive one night. Came into a corner and the Headlight went out. Scary. 🙂😉🤩😍
Just leave the tank tabs verticle, and put nutserts in the frame to hold it.Maybe 8-10" stretch for the swing-arm will keep it from flipping?.It's going to want to wheelie, especially with sand paddles.
Yeah, you have soo much room behind and below the carbs, why don't you either just fab down turn intake ports so the carbs are turned down more. Shouldn't be a huge issue. Would be nice to have them turned down more so you have more room around them, etc... Awesome videos as always 👍👍
Just keep your arms and legs inside the ride, Vasily! This one has a high likely quotient to loosen your gazootskis at an inappropriate moment! ON the "depressed saxophone"; have you thought of using less gas? Because, at 3x+, it sounds thoroughly flatulent. Awesome "first drop" for a new project of '24.
I built an R1 Raptor 700 drag quad years ago. You can check it out on my channel. Few things; I used stock fuel pump, all these engines(even Raptor 700) work at the same psi so there’s no point in fabricating a new fuel tank/pump. I kept my oil pan flat like it was in the bike so the oil stayed level in the pan and didn’t need to worry about sucking air. I chopped up a stock airbox using only the velocity stacks and covered in air filter foam, I built my own exhaust and tuned everything with a power commander and autotune. One huge thing was I had to put adjustable a-arms on and adjusted them so I got more rake as it was sketchy af with the stock geometry. Even then I added a steering damper set on the stiffest setting.
@@VasilyBuilds I built it 5yr ago so I used the Power Commander 5 and their autotune module. The thing was there wasn’t anyone who had an ATV dyno in DFW at the time.
This is stupid crazy, and I love it. Putting huge engines in small chassis ✔️ "We die like men," but do our engines deserve the same fate... If you ask the engines, they will tell you 🚫no. Figure out a filter for it. I know you can do it. The rings will personally thank you. Another great build 👏
The fuel tank could have been bolted sideways instead of down from the top, single tab drop out. No angle just the flat tab. Build a tapped slug if you want out of round bar and drill to fit. Tig weld it in.
You need a 3d printer if you don't already have one. You could design and print out a custom air box that can be formed in and around any space that's available. Obviously you would need a high heat resistant filament and a 3d printer that can use that filament, but it would let you make some awesome custom parts!
Yes. Your welds are very melodic. Was that in the key of "A"? For "Aluminum"? 🤣😂😍 I think it was C#! You need to de burr that. Sand it until it's Flat.

I think you have enough room to make two small air boxes for the carbs and have them come out to either side. Then add your filter.
Or an adapter manifold that angles them down a bit. Longer runners will give it a bit more bottom-end with tuning...like it's going to need that. 😂

To make easier to remove rear tank put tabs on frame and use threaded insert on the tank. That way u could remove bolts and drop tank put the bottom
Vice-versa keeps fuel leaks out of the plans.Good call though.I was thinking Certnuts in the frame, and the tabs not having elbows at the top.
You need to ride with the Cboys!!!!!!!!
