    Triple triple bonus poker would probably be the highest volatility game, followed by triple double bonus poker. 9/6 JoB lowest volatility followed by 8/6 or 8/5 bonus poker

    I’m in my 50’s and consider myself a well versed player but if I can get an extra percent or two by practicing and knowing everything I need to know about a certain game I would be interested in buying such tutorials

      It’s quite simple brother. Hold jacks or higher. Hold pairs. Hold 4 card straight/flush. It’s a casino so be prepared to lose but with the rtp and basic strategy if u don’t win it will drain your money very very slowly compared to a slot or other game in the casino

    I find in Video Poker you are not challenging a dealer or other players. You are challenging the odds. E.g the probability of getting a queen if you throw away 3 cards and get a 3-of-a-kind.

    Just like in the last video she keeps saying that your money "lasts longer" playing a low volatility game. This is incorrect. If you start with $100 on a Jacks or Better game or a Double Double game with the same exact payback and play until you have $0 left 1,000 times, both distributions of time played will have the same mean, but the Jacks or Better sessions will be more closely clustered around the mean while the Double Double distribution will be more widely spaced out with some significantly shorter sessions and some significantly LONGER sessions. The expectation for both is the exact same. Obviously, risk of ruin will be higher (especially if you are playing without an appropriate bankroll, but you shouldn't be in the first place.) Please stop saying your money will last longer. This is mathematically 100% incorrect. How long your money lasts and risk of ruin are not the same thing and what she's saying is misleading.
    Obviously, I don't recommend playing until you have $0 every time you play but I needed an example 😂

      @@Gambleraddictz There is actually some very good information that they share on this channel for those new to gambling. You will not find any AP information from this channel to get an edge, but 99% of the information on here will help nearly all recreational players lose less. I think they do a good job overall for that player base. I just wish they put out truly new stuff more often.
      EDIT: Also, many people make their living from gambling, including machines. The lowest form of this is cruising the casino looking for machines in a favorable state such as ultimate x, ocean magic, etc.

    The best odds in the casino are poker tournament if you're skilled and the sports book if you have deep knowledge of the sport. Everything else is going against you so you might as well have the most fun. Video poker is cool but it gets old quick. If I'm going to blow money, I'll take blackjack or craps.

      With 100$ and 50 cent hands u could play literally all night, or u could walk away up 20 bucks. Not sure how that is blowing money compared to a table game with a minimum bet of 10-25$ depending on the time of night and it’s quite normal to lose 5 hands in a row to a 1:2 payout.

I think there’s a website detailing where the full pay machines are in each casino, if in fact that casino even has one… usually in the high stakes area, or in way off strip casinos your average tourist doesn’t frequent.

    The issue with video poker is that it is a computer program.
    It only appears that each card in a 52 deck has equal probability of being selected. However, if the program is coded to select the cards that will not make you a winner, then it will select the losing cards for you 100% of the time if that is what it is coded to do.
    The machine's program is coded to allow only a certain amount of winners. ( I am speculating, but that is probable if it is a coded program)
    Video poker is still luck based at the end of the day if you know anything about coding.
    So video poker will still allow some winners, but if you are going to play poker where you want your skill to be the greatest determining factor on whether you win or not, it is best to play at a physical Poker table with physical cards.

      Any game,skill based on or not becomes -EV when the game is rigged. Linda is also presumably also talking about regulated games

    • @TheJackpotGents
      @TheJackpotGents  2 года назад +3

      Gaming regulations require that the games give random results, just as if the cards were being dealt from a shuffled deck.

    • @thayopowell1067
      @thayopowell1067 2 года назад

      @@TheJackpotGents
      Okay. Lets use random results.
      How can a gaming inspector be sure that the results or cards drawn are random?
      Just because they appear random doesn't mean they are. Unless you are using physical cards.
      The only way to be sure than every card drawn is random for every play is to inspect every line of code written in the game's program. And I doubt that is what inspectors do. They inspect the results.
      I'm not saying that it is definite that games using computers are rigged.
      I am saying it is a possibility.
      So if you are looking to win using your skills, computer based games are not the way to go.
      Unless your skill is card counting. (But even then, the computer can still select unfavorable cards for you using the remaining cards if it doesn't want you to win that hand.)

    • @thayopowell1067
      @thayopowell1067 2 года назад +2

      @@mystrreos
      If you know what inspectors are looking for, you can code your games to pass regulations even while being rigged.
      The only way to know exactly what a program is doing is to go in and read every line of code. (Which could be hundreds of thousands + lines of code)
      I am not saying that all video games are rigged, I am saying that it is definitely possible/probable.
      So if you want to use your skills to win it would be better to use a physical table with physical cards.
      No doubt about it.

    • @samore11
      @samore11 2 года назад

      @@thayopowell1067 The test would be a statistical test - not a code examination. Let the program deal a billion hands and every card should appear approximately 1/52 times, or .0192. If any card appears a statistically significant amount more than or less than that value, the machine is not randomly generating the "cards".
