Looking back, it's great to see the changes.........health wise and tapping. Love to see how much the channel has grown, and don't miss a video these days. As I've said, I can't wait till you reach a million subscribers, and guys, it's not far away! 😜😛💯
5:35 OF COURSE YOU GO FOR THE ROYAL, you can't keep saying "its all about the royal" and then keep holding cards that will eliminate any and all chances of getting a royal...
I went to Vegas a few weeks ago and played this game because of you. I was doing the 3X handed version and got a dealt flush...followed by DEALT QUADS. Was pooled with a group and got over $1000 hit from that on a $7.50 bet. Thanks Vegas Matt!
That was fun! I really enjoyed that you slowed it down for this vid. Usually the play is so fast I can't keep up. I would love a bet structure vid for video poker. I played it a few times and was shocked at how much I accidently bet on a shit sando. It isn't slot machine math when it comes to figuring out the bet and I still don't get it so I don't play anymore. I'd like to tho. Great vid my man, thanks!
Double Double bonus pays better on the bigger hands. 250 on 4 5-k, 400 on 2,3,4 & 800 on aces, then the kicker on 2,3,4, & aces pays even better. Just don't get more than 5 on 2 pair..... I can't play anything else anymore
Hello Matt. I respect your love of this game. I have been playing it for years, but in the last 4 years I have developed a love/hate relationship with Ultimate X. I was just curious if you have ever considered burning off the first hand when you create a entire screen of multipliers? I do, and I have hit some jackpots doing so. I usually burn off the the first hand for either one, or two spins then go max bet to finish off the rest of my multipliers.
What a great video, I honestly understand this far more than before, the multipliers didn't make any sense to me, because I thought there was no rhyme or reason to them!
You’ve introduced me to ultimate x and I love it. I do wish sometimes you’d slow down a bit so I can see all the hands and pay outs but I understand you’re also playing to entertain yourself. Thanks for the content!
That’s my game as well and I like the fact that you show the ugly side too. It’s a great game when your hitting but god the money goes fast if your not! Get it back VM!
chasing the dragon. It means trying to repeat that first big high. Usually about drugs. It also can be in relation to gambling. Trying to get that same big win. Best of luck.
On UX you prefer 4 flush to a 3 card Royal because the multiplier for a flush is so high. In the video you held only the RF3 and you cost yourself a lot of money. You lost 220 because you would have got a flush on the 11x hand. Then, on the next hand, you got dealt 2 pair and instead of getting 110 for the 2 pair on that hand, you only got 20. The other hands did not wind up mattering much, but your error cost you 310 total.
Keep uploading your fire vids🔥. I know you got that royal on that game before, but i swear everytime you play it, it never pays on what id consider harder to get poker hands. I dont see the point of it, unless you get the royal 😏
I don’t see how this game can be profitable other than hitting the royal…unless if you maybe just played a couple hands and hope to hit a couple full houses then cash out. Even on the deals where there were a few 3 of a kinds it seems like you were losing money or just breaking even. I love video poker but will probably stick to the single hand jacks or better.
I only play ultimate x 10 handed but I play TDB. I have never hit a royal but I have hit multiple 4A with a kicker that pays the same 4000. I dont play $1 mostly 10 cent and 25 cent denom. I love this game.
Going to Las Vegas in a couple of weeks. Trying to learn this game, but my strategy is way off. Guess I'll stick to JOB. Really enjoy your channel by the way.
I HATE Bonus Poker. I understand the idea that you get 10 credits instead of 5 for 2 pair and thus can play longer and increase your chances of getting a Royal Flush, but I never play with the intention of chasing Royals. The payouts for the four of a kinds, especially the low cards w/a kicker or 4 Aces (Which you hit fairly often) are sooo much lower on Bonus Poker than on TDB it erases 100's of those extra 5 credits. Plus 4 aces with a kicker pays as much as a Royal Flush on TDB so you're doubling your chances of getting that big payout over BP to begin with. I know some people push Bonus Poker, but I've gotten screwed too many times hitting what should have been big payout hands on it.
In all due respect you are under stating the value of two pair in BP. Two pair accounts for 25.86% of the overall return in BP (highest category), while reducing the variance. Four aces is not a frequent hand, and occurs one in every 5,106 hands. Four aces with a kicker is even more rare at one in 16,236 hands. I agree too much value is place on the royal flush, which accounts for only 1.99% of the overall return. Real world example: Recently I played 3,120 hands on 8/5 BP and only hit 2 quads. Statistically, I should have hit 7 quads in this session. I got stuck for 9.7% of my coin-in. If I was playing a more "exciting" game such as TDB. I would have gotten crushed and maybe would have gone on tilt. While BP might be "boring" as a player it helps to keep me disciplined.
@markhayden4386 Exactly. "Real World" results oftentimes throw all the statistics out the window. They say the machines are completely random but in my 45 years or so of playing video poker I've seen a LOT of things that would make any rational person question that. That being said, I'd have to look at the real world return based on say a million hands and see if the extra 5 credits you get for 2 pair on Bonus Poker (Remember you're still getting 5 on TDB) in the long run comes out ahead of the far higher payouts on the quad hands especially the huge difference for the low cards and kicker hands.
@@sarabrown7689 I agree in the short run outcomes are random due to variance. However, in the long run the results will be expected or at least very close. I also believe the long run doesn't need to be that long. For instances based on my personal play history, playing as little as 10,000 hands (factoring the royal & without) my results will be the expected or very close. The problem with TDB is a player may deplete her bankroll before hitting premium hands, or the player may go on tilt. Also, the emotional pain from a loss is greater, than the emotional joy from a similar win. Bonus Poker helps me manage risk, which is key to a successful player. Good luck & have a good day.
The proper hold is two to a royal not the straight. Example always hold K 10 suited instead of the straight. Always go for royal flush the software is designed to do better when you go againts what you think you should do. If you get a Royal the next hand the only card you hold is a Jack of spades and it should deal another royal. Your welcome
I like playing this game as well but I like deuces wild. I got a royal flush with deuces the other day but I only play $1.25 a hand but that winning hand was worth $110
The odds are different here in Colorado. 4 of a kind 5s and up is 250. There is 125 also full houses are 45 and for you I think it was 35. Come to Blackhawk Matt you’d love it
I love this game but I can’t help but play it on higher denominations now. I’ve won a few times on lower denoms but ever since I went higher it’s been nothing but garbage upon garbage.
Slow Down….. Going Downhill, Wind at your Back, Playing Fast 💨…. I Like Triple/ Double Bonus at Max( activate it.) X 10 Games. The right activation, all Ten Games get it. Good Luck 👍🍀 !
That was fun, now don't be so tight and break out another $2K and go again. I'm sure you'll win, I feel it. A little more, a little more, until you walk out and realize you don't have enough for fuel to get home let alone to work for the next week or lunches either. I'm done gambling (throwing) my money away. But it's fun to watch others. Gambling is for ppl with more money than they know what to do with.
Ok question - why are you holding AQ off-suit and AJ off-suit when Aces pay? I’ve seen you play this way many times before and you always hold the off-suit. I feel like you’re cheating yourself out of potential wins with the A? I only play DDDB and DDB so maybe I’m missing something specific to BP?
Ok, tell the truth.... Do you legitimately get excited when you hit a jackpot for like $1500-2000? I mean thats gotta be like me winning $10 on a spin. Big deal🤷 haha. Love your videos! Thanks! 🎆🎇
Matt, you are really rushing when you're picking the hold cards. Slow down just a little. When you rush, it's really easy to miss some important hold cards.
Love watching you but bonus poker is the worst. Triple double would of had 2k at least with threes kicker. Never played bonus poker once only good hand is royal. Always do triple double or triple triple if machine has it. I won't settle for less then double double .
I, Lucky Kimby, definitely know the ups and downs of video poker. You don’t win every time, although we wish we would! I enjoyed watching your strategy. Thanks Matt!
I’m saying this with honesty, you are one of my top 5 favorite RUclipsr. Thanks to your video I now stop going to the casino lol.
Thank you! And thanks for watching!
You aint kidding that this game is streaky. I play a 10 cent denomination and fired thru $200 in no time. Such a lack of dealt hands.
Looking back, it's great to see the changes.........health wise and tapping. Love to see how much the channel has grown, and don't miss a video these days. As I've said, I can't wait till you reach a million subscribers, and guys, it's not far away! 😜😛💯
Glad you are honest about the reality of gambling, unlike other RUclipsrs. Love the videos!
would love a super long session of this game. similar to a stream! Keep up the great content!
Matt is the heal of the betting world. It’s actually pretty awesome when you think about it. Rough session
5:35 OF COURSE YOU GO FOR THE ROYAL, you can't keep saying "its all about the royal" and then keep holding cards that will eliminate any and all chances of getting a royal...
Ultimate X is the most volatile poker game in the casino.
I went to Vegas a few weeks ago and played this game because of you. I was doing the 3X handed version and got a dealt flush...followed by DEALT QUADS. Was pooled with a group and got over $1000 hit from that on a $7.50 bet. Thanks Vegas Matt!
I know you always play the regular slots now but I love watching the video poker slots 🤷🏻♂️
When are we gonna see if camera guy in the background has luck?
That would be awesome!! How about a heads up with Vegas Matt and his son!
That was fun! I really enjoyed that you slowed it down for this vid. Usually the play is so fast I can't keep up. I would love a bet structure vid for video poker. It isn't slot machine math when it comes to figuring out the bet and I still don't get it so I don't play anymore. I'd like to tho. Great vid my man, thanks!
I've done really well the last three years playing Triple Double Bonus poker.
Double Double bonus pays better on the bigger hands. 250 on 4 5-k, 400 on 2,3,4 & 800 on aces, then the kicker on 2,3,4, & aces pays even better. Just don't get more than 5 on 2 pair..... I can't play anything else anymore

I’ve really grown to love your channel. Keep it up!
Thank you! And thanks for watching!
Enjoyed this video including the tutorial. My success has been in triple double but I totally understand the two pair pay out on bonus.
HAHA, thanks for slowing the speed down and then hitting the button on every deal. LOL. Love ya Matt! You're the best!!
Thanks for explaining it I only play slots normally ,but that is because poker always seemed too complicated. Wishing you many more royal flushes.
Its good see a gambling channel that showcases the reality of what people can expect 99% of the time!
You’ve introduced me to ultimate x and I love it. I do wish sometimes you’d slow down a bit so I can see all the hands and pay outs but I understand you’re also playing to entertain yourself. Thanks for the content!
Super appreciate the reminder why I don't gamble 😆
Thank you for video poker session! Miss watching you play!
That’s my game as well and I like the fact that you show the ugly side too. It’s a great game when your hitting but god the money goes fast if your not! Get it back VM!
I love video poker and certainly appreciate you explaining some of the rationale of plays in Ultimate X.
This is funny because for most people, the insane volatility of UX will make them hate video poker. 😂
Awesome learning session!!! Very helpful!!!
It doesn’t seem like you’re having much trouble growing your channel. Long live Vegas Matt!!!
I’m trying! Thanks for watching.
chasing the dragon. It means trying to repeat that first big high. Usually about drugs. It also can be in relation to gambling. Trying to get that same big win. Best of luck.
Getting 2x on boofah aka two pairs is what keeps the money and action in the game alive

It’s coming! I. Am. Due!!!
Keep the video poker coming!
Nice to see it slow and explained. I may just try it!
What’s up man love your vids been here since the beginning
Thank you!

Used to play Ultimate X Bonus Streak all the time. I moved and my new local casino doesn't have it so I've probably saved a lot of money.
Yeah probably lol
Going to Las Vegas in a couple of weeks. Trying to learn this game, but my strategy is way off. Guess I'll stick to JOB. Really enjoy your channel by the way.
Not sure about AQ9 suited hold. Maybe close call but I’d never consider keeping the 9
Great channel Matt,, do you ever gamble in the Bahamas ? Atlantis Bahamar ?? Thanks
Not recently. Maybe I should go back.
Hi Matt just for the record it wasn’t Michael Jordan who said “u miss 100% of the shots u don’t take” it was Wayne Gretzky.😉
I only play bonus . Hit my first royal on bonus by throwing away a pair of 3s because I was only playing for the royal 😊 been in love since…
Thanks for the video poker!bonus poker is my game but single hand, wish it could have gone better for you.
I HATE Bonus Poker. Good video, they owe you next session…
6:14 tf would you hold the 9 ❤️ for??
Bro looked like he had just rolled out of bed 🤣
Thank you for this and all your videos. Very very entertaining realistic and fun content
Let’s go!good luck Matt!
The jokers gold...i love that game...hit a 4 of a.kind and you pick a multiplier...
I love how that is him going slow but still way too fast.

I like playing this game as well but I like deuces wild. I got a royal flush with deuces the other day but I only play $1.25 a hand but that winning hand was worth $110
Thanks for showing me why only the house wins.
For any beginners watching, you will never get a royal by holding a nine. That’s enough information for now.
The odds are different here in Colorado. 4 of a kind 5s and up is 250. There is 125 also full houses are 45 and for you I think it was 35. Come to Blackhawk Matt you’d love it
I will!
I’ve herd of people having multiple jackpots with a brand of machine but I’ve never seen someone twice hit the same exact machine for a Royalllll
I love this game but I can’t help but play it on higher denominations now. I’ve won a few times on lower denoms but ever since I went higher it’s been nothing but garbage upon garbage.
This is the best video poker machine. I always seem to walk away with a big win.
Fun, lively video - thanks!
Thank you! And thanks for watching!
7/5 bonus ultimate x is a 99.40% game believe it or not. One of the better bets in the casino.
I tried to play this last trip to Vegas at PH after drinking for about 15 straight hours. Didn't make any sense to me. 😂
Hope to see you there August 1-4, 2023
What casino is Vegas Matt playing Utlimate X at?
That is exactly how my Ultimate X sessions go, but can't win 'em all
Do you ever hold for the flush?
Yes most of the time
Lol 😂 thx Matt ! 😎💙😎😄
You gotta do a vs with Pompise slots
Don’t think pomp is in the same league bro.
Would love to, he’s a cool cat.

Yes I love hand pays
good question! likely not. That dopamine is hard to trigger when you've won tens of thousands of dollars
Love you channel BUT when you play video poker you go much to fast for the viewer to analyze the hand.
Matt, you are really rushing when you're picking the hold cards. Slow down just a little. When you rush, it's really easy to miss some important hold cards.
I'm your new subscriber. I like to play the triple double or the double double.
Thank you very much! And, thanks for watching!
more video poker videos please? Thanks
Way better than the clown on the All Casino Action channel.
Nice try Matt, I know you'll win it back! Thanks for the content brother!
Thank you! And thanks for watching!
4:18 Only 3X multiplier after hitting quads? What's up with that? You get 4X when you hit trips.
Nice finds my frend
That's about what most of my sessions like. 🤭
thx for the "fix". Again, these keep me out of the casinos lol
Glad to help and thanks for watching
Do you ever play deuces wild?
Only occasionally
Hi Vegas Matt good luck 🤞 my friend and say hello 👋 to your family 👨👩👧👧 good luck 🤞 at The M resort casino

Of course. Losing sucks.

Ultimate x is the crack of video poker
It’s compelling!
