In the hand that’s “the worst hand bec nothing connects”, 2-4-6-8-10, you should hold the 6spades and 10spades, because you can make a straight flush with those two cards held.

I am almost exclusively a video poker player and am one of the people who thought you had weird holds on this game.
When you explained the multiplier strategy, it makes a lot more sense. I usually just play single hand, so hadn't considered the ultimate x factor of what you're doing.
My favorite game to watch by far is this one.
