one of my favorite drummers. he was also the only person to speak to the audience when I saw the locust live some time in the late 2000s, he said "thank you" at the end of the show. he also spat on the floor like 20 times during the concert.
This man had some of the cleanest cymbal-chokes I've ever seen. There will never be another. RIP
This band will forever be one of my favorites. Changed my life. And I’m still very bummed I never got to see them live. Gabe truly was one of the most innovative drummers of his era. Rest in peace Gabe.

I can’t express how much joy this brings me. The locust will forever be the best performance I’ve ever seen live. Gabe was up front for a reason, he is truly one of the best drummers of all time. JP is killing it still, just saw deaf club, he’s the best metal/punk singer you’ve ever seen.
I still need to upload my 2003 or 2004 footage of these dudes. In the all white outfits.

I got to see them with cattle decapitation at the Gilman. Despite being agoraphobic, went to the front to see them.
i was there too buddy. never miss a chance to see the locust! i went to all their gilman shows 2003-08; so glad they only played all-ages shows or otherwise i wouldnt have been introduced to them so young.
