Hear me out... What if Byzantium and Ming switched places. You get that nice big purple blob and if you squint you can tell yourself that byz is finally having a good game. Also seeing Mini-Ming get destroyed by the Ottomans before 1450 would be strangely hilarious.
next time you do this, give every nation generic ideas and generic mission tree, so the usual suspects dont inevitably come out on top like they usually do
Hear me out.... Consolidate ALL starting development to the capitals, reduce all province values to 1/1/1, and apply the "colonize plz" mod to all nations. Ming would start with a 1k dev capital for example, France starts with 300ish etc. Basically the game becomes a race to see who can conquer the most original capitals, and doing so massively buffs your nation.
I have to wonder how a reverse of this would play out, with the New World and Oceania starting already completely filled out by natives that rather than being migratory tribes, are settled monarchies/republics/hordes/etc..
An idea from once again seeing the NA natives not getting to join: Everyone starts as a one province native tribe. Everyone. With the corresponding tech levels & institutions to make them not just settle down instantly. And unlimited time to see how long it takes to colonize everywhere, how long it takes for someone to reach max tech.
Capital only, all old world nations as migratory tribe. I wanna see the tribal lands and the wildly slow development into real nations and federations. Also, it is revenge from all the times the new world natives get removed
21:10 Albania managing to regain independence for a short while before being annexed by Austria. Also, Albania doing so good only for most Albanians to be Hellenized is certainly not something I expected.
Do colonise please but make all of the people in the Old World be tribal and can't use it and then let all the natives be Monarchies (or Republics) and use colonise please and watch the world be in reserve chaos! (maybe have a mod that flips the trade and colonial regions maybe)
Honestly looking around you at every other games ai. Eu4 ai is really good it's not a human played but fucking hell most AAA AI bearly work, they can't even poss entertainment to a new player.
Quite displeased to know that this game mechanically refuses to indulge the idea of a First Nations Americas being able to march Europe, in a game where toying with history is half the fun.
Hey chewy! Hope you are well. Thanks for the vids and a question for you. You ever fully flesh out the american civil war mod you made? I wouldnt mind seeing a video on that mod again.
@@Chewbert Possible, it's not a jab at you, it's just the way Asian province are pronounced so differently than what I'd expect from their written name. I speak 3 languages and yet this took me by surprise lol.
So just asking out of curiosity, but is it a mod that makes them all have only their capital or are you doing that yourself? Wanna try this but I wasn’t seeing it as a start with the mod enabled.
Megakhazak forming up as the Central Asian Horde was nice to see. Not a great power, I mean everything there if I remember is 1/1/1 basically. But still nice to see something forming up there, propped up perhaps by their Persian Alliance.

lmao
lmao wtf, why did you add that last part 😂
next time you do this, give every nation generic ideas and generic mission tree, so the usual suspects dont inevitably come out on top like they usually do
I don’t think giving generic ideas is the way, but I wholeheartedly agree with no mission trees, it’d be a nice change of pace for the next time
And disable formables
Removing everyone's negative estete privileges would also be nice. There are nations like byz who just are cucked immensely by them.
@@ShiningLight nah formables seem cool
@@BlazingFlame69 I like them too but every game ends up with the same countries, just formed by someone of different cultures every time.
Make every nation migratory. Could name the mod Chewy's nightmare!
Jarai are one of the Stateless Societies in south-east Asia, so the fact that they collapsed makes sense as they are very restricted.
Polish comeback from 3 provinces to 6th great power was amazing.
Dulkadir surviving for the whole game 👍
4:47 only American could came up with something like this
12:05 AMERICA RAHHHHHH 🦅🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🦅
BRAZILLLL HUEEE ⚽️🇧🇷⚽️🇧🇷⚽️🇧🇷⚽️🇧🇷⚽️🇧🇷⚽️🇧🇷

I need more of these colonise please videos. They are like an addiction to me...
2:12 they do in fact, got land
I think disabling events and mission trees would do the variety good. I want Aragon, Lithuania and Burgundy to shine once in a while.
2:19 historically accurate early French monarchy:

This GP list was consistently beautiful and I love it
I think it was EU2 that had a game version called fantasia and had 5 or 6 countries only and each started with a capital.
1:43 - Sour Yogurt.
Capital only, all old world nations as migratory tribe.
I wanna see the tribal lands and the wildly slow development into real nations and federations.

When i see Romania, i gib like.
Wondering who formed it? Maybe Wallachia? It looks like both Wallachia and Moldavia could have done it.

21:05 can we just appreciate the glorious rise of Kazakh
The new world and Persian borders were just 😮💨 perfect
launched eu4 and saw you in the launcher!
Oh god
Chewy, you should check out Europa Veritatis.
Can you do this with the Extended Timeline mod and modern-day countries? This would be fun with just the capitals of modern-day countries.
Oh I like that idea

So I love this idea, but sadly the AI just won’t colonize upstream of their trade node as they don’t benefit from it with trade.
@@Chewbert Hence why a mod to reserve the trade nodes so America is the end node
Honestly looking around you at every other games ai. Eu4 ai is really good it's not a human played but fucking hell most AAA AI bearly work, they can't even poss entertainment to a new player.
How about every culture in the world belongs to one big culture group: Humanity?
Do plz a Holland/The Netherlands vs Engeland vs France vs Brandburg/Germany
The rest of the world blank ready to be colonies
All seems historically accurate. Yup.
Russia forming paradox interactive land, matching their logo with land shape
Omg, it's a Sid Meier's Civilization simulator in EU4
Quite displeased to know that this game mechanically refuses to indulge the idea of a First Nations Americas being able to march Europe, in a game where toying with history is half the fun.
Wow, it's Pskov that formed Russia. Not Muscovy. @21:00
EU4 but Scandinavia is united and Norse in 1444! Norse is the rarest decision in the game, almost no one sees the AI convert
Haven't seen it yet, GO BADEN

Land of the free, it’s a finished mod, I just haven’t updated it in a few patches
albania LITERALLY formed greater albania 5 minutes in. wow!!
All countries are their Capitals:
Bulgaria: 👁️👄👁️
with all these minors, we better keep diddy away 💀
Could you do this without the settler buffs? Would give other nations a fair chance
Video Name: All Nations in One Region
The map: 7000 regions per nation
Dread it, nerf it, annex it, France arrives all the same.
Poles and Silesians became new Germany. Cool
Norway finally doing something!
This, but with all releasables.
CHILE MENTIONED!!!!!! 🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥
colonizee pls but only releasables as opms
That would be interesting for sure

Netherlands was a major colonial power but you didn’t even include them as a country in there which is crazy to me
Are you aware that Netherlands didn’t exist as a nation in 1444? If you didn’t know tang, that’s crazy to me
