In today's Europa Universalis IV (EU4 1.36 King of Kings) video we will be voiding the entire map outside of one single province per subcontinent, where we will let each subcontinent be represented by a single nation as one province. Those nations will be responsible to repopulating the world and creating the map we will see!

Eranshahr is not just a name change, they have their own ideas. They share the Persian mission tree though, the religious part of it is different for them, of course.
Idea - One state, one province, for whole world, but rebels are supercharged so new nations quickly show due rebellions...

I'm curious to see what happens if there is no Government Capacity limit. So AI nations can state all the provinces and not worry about going over Gov Cap.
Extra points if devving is free (or as cheap as can be), so AI can go crazy with it.

There is no governing capacity limit, I remove it for them :)
I guess they just lacked admin points to core state everything.
I did a full 1821 run with Italia, using IF vassal swarm. Then, shortly before the end date, i formed rome, and realized there were a ton more missions! Now i'm gonna do it again lol. Great mod!

@@losisansgaming2628 Ah ok, makes sense. Do the custom native federation tags also count into that? If I remember correctly they should be able to pick their own flag once they unite, I believe.

The protestant reformation didn't happen because the MTTH for the event is 4000 months (333 years) at 100% reform desire. With at least 125% reform desire, it goes down to about 2360 months (196 years). This low chance is usually offset by having many different nations.
Best idea ever: EU4 but Colonization is reversed, meaning Only the Americas and Australia have tags, BUT they're only formable Colonial Nations like Louisiana or Canada etc.

Hey Chewie I know y’all are probably already working on it but I feel like the romana Punic wars in the IF happen way too early (especially when you’re not playing in the region) and the romana nations get dog piled so if you could somehow push it back or give them a center of reformation earlier that would be very nice
Do you have any vids on how to make mods? Like the mechanics of what files to copy/edit?
This was a pretty cool run.
I really like the adition of the -50% colonial range, it's way more fun with the AI grabbing everything close to them instead of just rushing for high value provinces.
One thing tho, how does the mod deal with institutions?
It maybe a good idea to add like a flat +1 institition growh modifier or smth like that so the Europeans don't get an unnecessary advantage the first 200 years if you ever do another one of these free for all colonization videos

The reformation didn't spawn because there is only one catholic country which likely is the defender of the faith, and the defender of the faith and the pope both cannot have the protestant reformation begin in their country

Idea : EU4 but Mountains are OP, Basically give an OP modifier for any Highland & Mountain provinces in the game
If Paradox ever does EU5, they need to represent the Development of the world a lot better. The complete development advantage Western Europe has in 1444 doesn't make a whole lot of sense IRL. Most European cities at that point were much smaller in both size and population than places in Asia. Only until the mid 1500s did Euro cities begin actually rivaling Asian cities in size and population. Even Tenochtitlan was thought to be bigger than any city in Europe, with only Constantinople coming close.

Make it so every country has its modern borders in 1444, like Ming as the PRC, Brandenburg as Germany and Cusco as Peru

Ming Tartary in the Himalayas is a weird label. Tartary is usually Siberia/Central Asia.
It's part of the Tartary subcontinent ingame as well as those, and it was included in the historical use of the term.

mabye do this with trade regions as it will show all the wars that makes the nation strong instead of just the european nation winning every time

Ive had an idea for your timelapse videos if it wasnt already made. So hear me out, what if whole world is catholinc or any other religin that supports PUs and all countries have the same ruling dinasty at the beginning of the game. Should look interesting

The reformation could not happen, because the event cannot fire in a country that is the defender of faith.
The event needs the country to have their capital in Europe, not be the Papacy, and not a defender of the faith.
So after Hansa gobbled up those small catholic nations that popped out, it became the only catholic country, the defender of faith, and no way to lose the defender of faith.
So as long as there is only one catholic nation, that is the defender, the event cannot fire, ergo no reformation.

Chew, this reminds me, you should get rid of colonize plz money bonus.
It's not a problem in this run, but in your other runs, it always makes it so that landlocked nations without colonial prospects become poorer.

Reformation desire won't go up because there's only one catholic nation. More catholic nations mean more events that increase the reformation desire will fire.
