I give you my thoughts and discuss the versatility of this shirt. The reasons I chose it, the practicality of it in daily use.
How it's fairing up after many miles and is it worth the money...?
Great review. Knox kit is comfy and well thought out. After years of riding with heavy armoured jackets acting like a sail or windbreak this stuff is a revelation. Even fits under my beloved 25 year old Brando style jacket and ancient Belstaff wax although mostly I layer up with newer Knox kit.
Thank you - yes it’s definitely a game changer , especially in hot weather with the vents. But the same as you I tend to layer it with other jackets.

I purchased the Knox Urbane Pro Mk3 in July 2023. I’m a weekend warrior and I’ve put less than 40 hours of use on my jacket when the cuffs began to fray. I wrote the company directly as well as sending photos, to which they responded , that the frayed cuffs were a result of repeated abrasion from gloves, or likely wear from the Velcro closure on gloves. They said that they would not replace the jacket or refund my money. I was disappointed to say the least, particularly when “abrasion resistance“ is the company’s advertisement lead. Clearly, the material used at the cuffs is flimsy at best, and inconsistent with the durability of the rest of the jacket. I pride myself on taking meticulous care of my equipment, and for the company to suggest that the use of gloves on a motorcycle jacket caused this premature wear and damage is ridiculous and outrageous. These companies have a captive audience as well as regulatory capture to inflate their prices, and to advertise an abrasion resistant armored shirt that is now literally falling apart at the seams after less than 40 hours of use is shameful.
That’s shocking and the fact they refused to refund or replace terrible attitude for any company . Lisa’s jacket shows no wear whatsoever on cuffs yet . And done at least 10,000 miles in it . So maybe yours had a fault ? Either way , bad form to not replace it . I guess only thing to do is get better cuffs put on at a tailors .

Mark here , no I didn’t get one .. I have a Belstaff jacket with armour.. but I’m a bit of a slacker to wearing it unless weather very bad , Lisa has not tried the lighter shirt , but I know that one you mean ..
she loves this jacket in the video and has worn it tons . Next time we go to London Lisa wanted to look at the lighter shirt ,

@@LeanIntoTheWind Thanks for the reply Mark, my leather is a goldtop 617 jkt (no armour), so the shirt would be a good idea in theory. Not sure why, but the last couple of months these Knoxx shirts have me a tad interested.

@@Rigz727 depending how big your jacket is , the lighter shirt probably be better option. They say these go under a coat , but the coat would definitely have to be over sized . Lisa hoped to be able to wear this under her leather Belstaff coat that has no armour ,
(I think she wore it in Rye video)

Belstaff is a great fitting jacket .. but too snug for this Knox .
Goldtop make great gear . Bet that’s a sweet jacket .

Thanks for your comment , the jacket does not come with the chest armour but you can purchase it as an extra / upgrade . £39.99 .
It’s called
Woman’s micro lock chest upgrade.
Only thing I did read that had put some people off is that it’s bright yellow . And so shows up through the mesh on the jacket , so doesn’t look great . But obviously is going to do it’s job if it is needed .

Would you wear it on electric scooter for example?
I think it’s very versatile, fine to wear on any scooters or motorcycles .
