As a Volt owner... this demo really says everything in a nice, practical and clear way.
I couldn't believe the sonic improvements the 76 added to vocals... like wow. I'd have to play for ages in a DAW to recreate that sound. The other thing is, as it's live compression... the fact it sounds so good really lifts your vocal performance... I'm a huge fan.
I rarely use the vintage button, but that's personal choice.
Overall... I'm pleased I bought it.

obrigado. melhor do que todas as outras análises porque você percorreu uma série de configurações com os mesmos desempenhos

Nice, no reviewer (including UA itself!) has demonstrated the built-in 610 & 1176 effects as simply or effectively as you just did. Thanks

Was hoping to hear that Grandmother through it. Great demo and helpful to hear clean guitar tones!

I've recently used my Volt 176 with my RODE Broadcaster mic (condenser) and have been blown away by the sound with the Compressor and Vintage mode both On. I was using the RODECaster Pro, but I can probably sell it now. That may sound weird like it's a backward step, and in a way it is, but I don't need all the channels, and I can always 'Noisegate' by using the audio filters in OBS.

    Really excellent and clear demo.
I'm still a bit torn between the Volt series and saving the extra for an Apollo.
I do have a question. Would there be much latency difference between this and an Apollo?

Nice video. Keep up the good work. I am using an iPad 10th generation with a windshield Pop filter and I don’t know about you guys but when I use the compression settings and the vintage, I hear some white noise.

I'm getting noise on the 76-compressor like I was a storm-chaser in the middle of filming. To the point where I'm actually wondering whether these interfaces have a common problem with that aspect.

@@philipmorgan7802 I just got the SM7db yesterday and I have to say it’s like they built the 76-compressor for this dynamic mic. I was using all the settings on the volt for the WA-87 R2 and that’s where I was getting the amplified white noise. Since I switched over, I’ve used the same settings and have absolutely no problem at all, just a lush signal flow. My daw is Logic and I’m recording at 44.1khz, 24-bit. If you have the funds you have to try.

Would you know why the VOLT 176's 76-compressor produces huge noise when pressed?

  • @sung_yun
    @sung_yun 2 года назад

Do you think having the compressor on Volt 276 is much better than getting just Volt 2 without the compressor, do you think it justifies the higher price? Thanks for the review.

guess its not ideal to use pre-ordained parameters as is fully overtone mash back when using the chords guitar, but also through the fast option that overtones may be handled to some extent, other than that, is it babyface pro FS or this one, not quite sure. Nice review and thx.

How do you get the 1176 sound on a apollo

Sería mucho mejor si el phantom power fuera individual para cada canal 😢

GTR attack is actually faster than the VOC attack. I think you interpreted it backwards.

if i don’t want to use the Volt 476 preamp ? how can i bypass it to use external preamps ?
