- Fulaim has knocked it out of the park with a new wireless Lavalier system. The X5 system has smaller transmitters and receiver, has on-board recording, and features live noise canceling!

On board recording as in no need for a camera to record audio/sound? Man… if so I’m sold!
@@stilmotionpicture yes, actually with on-board recording, you can just use the transmitter to record the audio for a audio file only, this is an optional usage

Excellent recording capabilities from the Fulaim X5, thanks for this very informative review. The price is another good deal. When you turned to walk away from the picnic table I the audio remained clear and you couldn't hear the cars or the birds. Great.

very similar with Hollyland Lark M1, also $149, but this one is with on-board recording! and audio is as great as the DJI mic(but much cheaper than dji mic). definitely killer wireless mic! Great review!
I have been using just a extremely cheap DIY solution for about 6 years. Was less than $40, bit of post EQ. Sound very similar like the one in this video. I still don't understand why it took so long for manufactures as well why they have to be so pricey?

I don't know of any wireless lav mic that has encryption
Rode uses 128bit. The DJI mic has 2.4 private technology that they don’t go into details.
A great review is there a simple way to clip it on a shoe mount? can you charge let's say your phone as you stream or film?
The clip on it slides right into a cold shoe mount.
As a beginner with an iPhone this sounds like a winner!
Q: here in China Fulaim is not available, BUT Mailada X5s looks absolutely identical. Are they just a rebadging??

I've heard from others that they are the same product with different names.
I've now had a Fulaim X5 (Rev 2) for about a month and I'm loving it. While the gain through the Lightning connector is stronger than with Rev 1, it's still a little weak; using the cable and Apple Lightning cable gives 10db more gain when editing in Lumafusion.
Hi!, really I like your video, one question, I need récord a orchestra outdoor, violins, piano, chellos, trumpets, etc, could I put fulaim x5 microphone in middle of The orchestra and then put The receiver in my camera to record audio and video at The same time in my camera? Can you? Yes. Is it the right microphone for that? No. These are designed for voice pickup, I just don't think you will get the best results because a) the dynamic range isn't designed for music, b) instruments closed to the mic will be louder than ones further away. It may be better than nothing at all, but I wouldn't expect it to be perfect.

How do you rate the comica vimo C
I haven't used it yet but I can tell you that almost all of the videos here where I am in my studio are filmed with the Comica Boom-X D so I would imagine the new Vimeo C is going to be a solid contender.

right now 6-27 it's $129.99 the best mic is what we got on us at the time. Shot wit hthe DJI mic and Action 3 internal as well.and said hmm no sound difference, maybe my ears. Brightness level on DJI does time out so you can not see it as well when it times out. as well the rode and others, maybe Fulaim can brighten up via the firmware, Dji can be adjusted. I do not like theDJI green light , just overly bright if asked, just me, great review thanks for sharing Fish
