Its so much quieter and more tolerable than with the 5" straight pipe previously on the truck.
You can still hear the 9 Blade turbo screaming, but so much better, in my opinion.

I agree I like the sound of the stock turbo more. Just wish it had the same power.
The 9 blade is a just a bit too high pitched for me, and far too loud straight. But it sounds way better muffled. Might be fun with cutouts though

Ive been looking all around for cut outs. Do they have sizes that will fit the lbz. Kinda want some noise but dont. Lol
I have a 10 blade on my LBZ. The whistle got old quick. I put a Jones Turbine 5050XL on my truck and love it now

is the truck tuned?
The previous owner told me it wasn't. However when the torque converter is locked in 5th or 6th and you let off throttle, vane position jumps up and there's definitely a turbo brake happening. So it definitely has a single tow tune on it, and I believe the trans has a tow tune on it too with how it shifts. It's got bags in the rear and 5th wheel rails. But the guy I bought it off didn't have it long, and he put this turbo on it. So I believe he didn't realize it was tuned. But, a single tow tune doesn't work for me. So I'll hopefully be doing something about that soon. It's not been being driven in the interim. And I'm dailying my stock LLY which will e for sale once I can start dailying this thing

@@justmarcin8555 no complaints but it got a stock exhaust before anyone could. I complained most. I did get comments ahead of complaints.
Oh damn, but on the audio it doesnt sound that bad, I guess only in real life you better the difference? (it might just be me)
@@justmarcin8555 well this is with the stock exhaust. My straight pipe video was ear piercing. The video didn't do it justice. Was comparable to being on the tarmac as a jet is taking off
