A cool detail is there was no micro transactions in older gta games.

@Baxi Tabaxi figured there would be somebody like you in the comments. How many single player gta 5 dlcs have they made since launch?
@Baxi Tabaxi no DLC because of those transactions
There's was no online multiplayer either 😂, also you're not forced to buy anything.
San Andreas was revolutionary. The fact you could train different fighting styles and then perform different moves when you melee someone blew my mind back then.
I always think a lot of people forgot this, but I loved it. Kickboxing, boxing and Kung-Fu were there I thought. This game was so amazing for it's time. Still is actually.
I think true crime streets of la inspired them
That was cuz true crimes had better fighting animations and learnable moves. They just added it to gta and boom true crime was irrelevant af lol but yea blew my mind too
@@BriveAW after reading other comments. This guy remembers too
@Ahmed malaki no sleeping dogs came way later like 9+years later almost when gta5 came out. true crime streets of l.a was the first one and it was like gta but the fighting animations were great at the time.

San Andreas is 10 times more detailed and feature filled than cyberpunk
Did you see the video comparisons on those two games?
@Lamar Davis by 34-10 er something like that
Cyberpunk is a good game just hating only thing that's wrong is the bugs nothing else really.
@@zom3508 well yes but actually no
See the story itself is considered bad and the open world vibes isn't there, 7 years in the making but it doesn't stand against old games that's the problem, the only thing better is the graphics
@@zom3508 lmao cyberpunk is such a joke game luckluster story , many bugs and glitches, to much telling lies to the consumer and also delaying dates. Overhype game at finest
GTA San Andreas is still my fav, I wish Rockstar would do a re-mastered version.
I think GTA SA did it's time and is legendary. With that being said I also think it would be wrong to modify or remaster it. It is unique because if the way it is. I guess it would be cool but I think it should not be at any risk to the HD universe and the money grabbers of Rockstar. Sand Andreas is the King of the 3D universe, the best GTA there will ever be and should stay where it peaked by just being what it is. So when the younger audience gets its hands on GTA SA, they will be in awe of it's complexity and amazing details old games had before prioritizing graphics, skins ect.
There is a remastered version and it's terrible trust me stay in the old zone
Gta 4 needs
@Emmanuel Sison yea but at least you can get 100% complete in under 4 minutes
@Emmanuel Sison oh no theres a trick to beat the game 100% completion in under 4 minutes, its a pretty op bug. just try searching gta sa 100% completion beaten under 4 minutes

San andreas was such a vast gta game for it's time
Even now its overwhelming when you remember
I would love a full remake with modern graphics
I've lost track of how many years I've been waiting for that remake, would be nice if they kept the cheats as a throwback. It still feels like a far more interesting game than V. In the begining I hoped Franklin would be a CJ 2.0 only to be let down...
other then the bit where you can like slide across car hoods or turn lights on and off GTA SA is far better
That will be so cool og they did that i still Play san Andreas some time 😀😀

My favorite detail in Vice City is Tommy's shirt blowing rapidly in the wind when driving a motorcycle in a 2002 game. I was surprised it didn't carry over into GTAV, i mean it's there but definitely not as noticeable as it is in VC.
I think it depends on the shirt you're wearing
It carries onto gtav

@@VasilyMusic Yeah it only happened to me once... He basically asked them for clearance to land.
That was in the mission "Saint Mark's Bistro" when he returns to LV airport. I believe that's the only time he requests clearance to land as it is a scripted part of the mission. Flight CJ101

Lol
In the trailer no flying cars but in the game flying cars
cars, npc, sometimes even buildings xD
It really shows how shit the AI is in Cyberpunk when a 2001 game has AI that's way more sophisticated.
In GTA san andreas, you can actually go to the airport, buy tickets and ride the plane to fast travel to other towns of San Andrea.
You can also travel by train. If a brown streak train stops at a train station, if you’ll press the enter vehicle button near one of the carriages (preferably near the door), you will enter the train as a passenger and you’ll be able to fast travel from station to station.

You talking about the same company that's been bleeding their game for the last couple years? The same company that took a bunch of details and features out of the same game they're bleeding?
@@CEOofKivotos all game devs think that Way. The investors dont.
Man, it's really a shame how back then GTA was clearly a product of passion and now it has shifted to become a commercialized milk cow.
But even worse than that is the fact that even with this fact the modern GTA and RDR series still remain the most detailled games.
And it's a shame since that means all other game franchises are way ways worse off.
"Way ways worse off" imma use that.
Gta v was clearly a work of passion
Also CJ in San Andreas could sing music from your most listened radio station if you leave him idle for a while
Is this true?? Never noticed this
I wish the cops still gave the Good citizen bonus because if you tried that in Gta 4 and 5, the cops still go after you instead.
Nobody talking about the fact that there are 2 NUMBER 21S 😂
I wanted to just comment about that duuh
At first glance I thought you were going to say *2 NUMBER 9s*. Gameranx missed that Easter egg.
31* INSANE DETAILS 😎
And two number 45s, one with cheese, and a large soda.
I was the 69th like
“Paramedics will come to assist them and attempt to save them”
That stopped after GTA 4, in GTA 5 they pop a squat and take some notes
I remember how there wasn’t rechargable health in the older games so you had to be more careful if you were going to go on a rampage
All we had to do was follow the damn train, CJ!
It's funny how older games had some insane details that newer games have either forgotten or don't give as much attention to detail anymore
I think the trouble is time and more of a focus on shiny graphics in modern games although plenty do still have some little details (Hitman games come to mind) it does seem to be a bit of a dying art

„If you get close enough you can hear the music from their headphones“
Good that you have put your music over it.
So glad someone mentioned the heat hazes/waves! Although visible in the PC version, it's very noticeable in the PS2 version. Among all these details, one I love is that in GTA III, background noises make the city so full of life. There's dogs barking, sounds from inside buildings, and some weird ones I still don't know the source to.
That car skill detail blew my friggen mind. I've played this game so many times and never noticed that.
This game was waaaayyyy ahead of its time fr.. I can’t believe that
Also you have weapon skills in the game. By using a particular weapon, you will master it and the max is hitman level.

The full 10-min cut of the GTA 2 intro is better than most current feature length films.
I love that little intro sound. Makes me happy.
For no.23 CJ also drives with one hand on the wheel with high driving skill
I miss the time when you can make money in Vice City by stealing a taxi. Tried it again in GTAV but it just makes you ride it to your waypoint.
Play taxi mission in GTA V Single player as any of 3 protagonists. In GTA V, taxi activity more like customers hailing a Ola or Uber and you reaching their location using waypoint unlike GTA III, VC or SA where NPCs hail taxi as soon as they see one.
I miss when the taxi customers had funny quotes. Does GTA V taxi riders talk to us like in the old games?
There used to be vigilante missions too if you got in a cop car instead of a taxi.
@@xtreem0075 I think that's because Uber wasn't really a thing yet when GTA V was being made.
@@djxeroic1436 that's why I think Uber missions SHOULD be in GTA 6, If It happens in modern times. It would be just weird to play a taxi mission in a game that IS passed Post 2015
Meanwhile in Cyberpunk lakes behave like clouds
I'm a simple guy. The pedestrians that sat on the stairs throughout Vice City to take a break were mind blowing to me back in the day lol
I find it kind of sad how after San Andreas it seems like more and more of the little details and clever AI actions were left out of the games in favour of some prettier graphics, along with how much of the edgy and childish humour has dropped out of the series.
