A few things. Glad you want the 2 XC reps. So many people disrespect XC and want it down to just shulk or none at all. The series at this point really deserves 2-3 reps at least. Sales and prominence wise it's on par with FE as a flagship first party JRPG franchies. It's a trilogy too, so unless there's an XC4, I don't see why we couldn't have all 3 games repped later. As for Hero, I gotta say that he's not well known in the west, but Japanese shit their pants for him. Dragon Quest in legendary there, and I really think Japanese would take Sephiroth cut over Hero. They also don't give two shits about Banjo, so of the 3rd parties, I'd say Hero is more likely to stay than like Banjo. For Fire Emblem, I do like Robin more and I'd like them over the other awakening choices. But, Lucina is the poster girl for Awakening. If FE is keeping two characters, it's rather awkwardly most likely Marth and Lucina. Awakening is considered way too special for the franchise's history to be cut. Lastly, for Pokemon, I feel like Mewtwo has to go. Not because I dislike him, but look at who's left. It's all Gen 1 characters. Lucario and Greninja are considered mascot characters from later gens, so I see one of them staying over Mewtwo, who was already cut once.
I’d keep all the Kirby character since sakurai loves Kirby, so I’d replace sephiroph and bayonetta with king dedede and meta knight, but overall, this is very close to perfect, good job
I think you could make Luigi, Falco, and Lucas skins for Mario, Fox, and Ness which would give room for 3 more characters Overall though, if for some reason you had to murder half the roster, this list makes sense 👍
This was a good list. My modifications: Get rid of Lucas and Puff. Neither are fun to play against, plus they're not that relevant. Mother 3 isn't even available in the west and Jigglypuff is a boring gen 1 mon that looks like Kirby. Replace Lucas with Snake (you said why he'd be there already), plus you could make him a couple of skins on Ness if you'd like. Replace Puff with Greninja, the more interesting pick and the most liked pokemon of all time. Replace Mewtwo with Lucario. Gen 1 is overused, Lucario is the second most liked pokemon of all time, Lucario was originally a successor for Mewtwo and he actually has a gimmick (aura) to differentiate himself more. Mewtwo is cool but I think Lucario is the better choice. Replace Falco with Wolf. He's got the more distinct moveset and he offers the hero-villain dynamic to Fox. You could maybe give Falco half of Fox's skins like Olimar and Alph though. Combine the Miis. They're already supposed to be customizable, just pump that up even higher. Plus then they might actually get banned.

Yeah no absolutely disagree with the FG characters being removed, or the idea of them "not working with Smash". Ryu/Ken, Terry and Kazuya work absolutely well in Smash with Kazuya being one of the best additions from a gameplay perspective. Also him being true to source material is more of a pro and con and why he's the only one in Smash I have fun watching and playing while everyone else just feels dull and extremely competitively bankrupt (especially the rosters from 64-Smash 4 + Echo Fighters)

Ike has enough evidence to justify him staying. He's the most popular and well loved character in the Fire Emblem series who has the most appearances out of any other FE character in the roster, other than Marth, and influenced the lore of Fire Emblem much greater than any other protagonist, plus, Ike also has descendants that appeared in Awakening, *Priam* . He's even won so many popularity contests, including multiple polls conducted by the still going Fire Emblem mobile game. He was even the only FE character who actually won a poll to get into Brawl in the first place. Cutting him is like cutting Luigi at this point. Why does everyone keep wanting him gone?
It could be very possible that Cloud and Seperoth might not stay because of Square Enix. I heard negotiations were quite difficult so it might be likely that Square might not want to play ball anymore.
Best way in thoughts. Think 30 to 35 with like 5 to 1o dlc in different waves again love that thing. Then cut goes 1st echo that not fan like or bern in games.then 3rd kart unless they say we give same fighter like for thousands bucks or so. Or they got good friendship with. Like sega and namco.

His game was nominated for Game of the Year when it came out, lots of people still widely used soundtracks from his game either through presentations or to use as placeholders for their streaming channels (RUclips, Twitch, Kick, etc.) like they did when it first came out 7 years ago, Persona 5 is the highest selling game in the franchise, both Persona and SMT, and the game singlehandedly brought back interest of JRPGs back into the West as well as Joker himself constantly being sited amongst the most popular characters within the entire Persona franchise both in the West and East. Calling Joker irrelevant is like calling Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII a minor character in the FF series. Persona 5 is modern Final Fantasy VII.
Hero is crossing the line I know its an opinion but its one of the most iconic games in Japan and he has one of the most if not THE most creative move set in smash history but my rage has ran out and i realized its not true
