So glad to see Rachel return in this final season. I know she hasnt done acting for a while due to medical issues so to see that she came back is amazing.
My reaction was Castiel's reaction. I was happy to see Meg but in another second disappoited and kind of hurt that she appears empty. It is cruel to Cas. But I also was surprised and so glad that Rachel could appear in this episode. I know about her medical condition and I'm thankful for her appearance.
I was surprised to see the actress (rachel) reprising her role as Meg because I've known she's been having a lot of health problems since 2010 (Multiple sclerosis) It was a shock. Hope shes doing ok!

Castiel looked so happy when he thought it was really Meg. Really hate what the writers have done to Meg and Cas. He should have lost his virginity to Meg, not some random April. Cas was never the playboy type like Gabriel, so it made no sense and was completely out of character. Sam and Dean are hypocrites. If they like someone evil like Ruby, Cowley, Benny or Rowena they think its okay to have a relationship with them. But Cas isn't allowed to like or be in love with Meg, because Sam and Dean dissaprove. They just use Cas and have never really appreciated all his sacrifice. Cas asked Sam and Dean to specifically keep Meg safe. They didn't even bother to try and save her. Then they didn't even care to tell Cas Meg had died or how. I bet till this day, he has no idea how Meg died. After all he has done, he asks for one thing and Sam and Dean don't bother to honour it. Recent episodes shows just how much they use and abuse him. Dean only said sorry, when he realised that Cas would actually leave if they pushed him too much. Even now in purgatory Dean was enquiring about Benny, but Cas isn't allowed to love Meg. I know the actress is ill but they could have gotten another vessel to be Meg. Please bring back Meg on a bed and have her and Cas order in a pizza. Dean and Sam need to be confronted over this betrayal. Dean blames Cas for his mum, but what about Dean allowing Meg to die? Cas and Meg need a happy ending, that should be his reward after all his suffering.
The problem is that Rachel Miner has MS so she had to retire from acting. They chose not to recast meg out of respect. It is nice that Rachel was able to come back, but her MS is why she is sitting in a chair throughout the entire scene.
Mark Koehr Rachel is not retired from acting, actually (she made an appearance on Chicago Fire the week before this episode of SPN aired) and has expressed great interest in returning to the role of Meg.
If Cas brings Ruby back from the Empty or whatever that place is but leaves Meg behind...... I'm going to RIOT! We deserve Megstiel happy ending. She can be sitting on a couch waiting for Cas for all I care as long as they are together.
i havent gotten to see the 15th season yet i was so freaking happy because i thught it was meg but NO IT WAS THE STUPID FREAKING EMPTY HEART BROKEN # MEG IS BAE
I don't know what I think of the Empty's acting here. When it Castiel's form, and when it possessed Dumah, it didn't act the same as the people it was copying. But now it's acting exactly like Meg.
You can hear the change in the tone of his voice, when he thought it was meg his voice was softer like when he talks to jack but when he realizes it’s the empty his voice goes hard. and just the subtle change in expression when he says meg his face is one of awe but in a good way and with the empty it’s cold
@@proofAnthony nothing. Im just saying that this Entitiy is so eager to get Cas, that it may risk ruining Death's plan to an extent that Death kills it and makes Cas the new leader of The Empty
