Rolex or Tudor, which is better?

- This week we keep it in the family, looking at a watch from Rolex and a watch from Tudor.
The Explorer 2, Ref 226570 and the Tudor Black Bay Chronograph, Ref m79360n-0002.
Will we be able to settle the age-old argument of which is better, Rolex or Tudor?

Tudor and Rolex have identical fit and finish. Both are very high quality and as solid as you can imagine. Winding the dial on a Tudor BB is absolutely perfect.
I have a Rolex GMT 2 and a ceramic Sub. I also have the Tudor BB Harrods and the Pelagos 42. It's simple really. If you want a thinner case, go Rolex. Nothing else really matters other than the amount you want to pay for watch. The clasps are the same, unless you're talking about the Pelagos .... Which has the best clasp by far for me.

I like your channel and am looking forward to seeing it grow. Just my $.02, but I think these sorts of vids work better when the comparisons are apples:apples. Doesn’t have to be red delicious apples:red delicious apples. But, a panda chronograph isn’t even in the same phylum as a GMT explorer. So, the comparison doesn’t really work. Also, to 99.9% of the population, there’s no functional difference b/t 100m WR and 200m WR. No one is diving 30ft w/either of these watches on, let alone 300ft.

I made the same decision as you did, only I had to decide between the no date sub and the 41 sub heritage. 2 years now in the bb and i cant be happier with it. Yet my stupid heart aches for a rolly...
So wait you like a smaller dial = Tudor
But you like a thinner watch = Rolex
You like the Chrono = Tudor
You like the Clasp = Rolex
You like the look = Tudor

I always wanted a Submariner. That was when the 16610 was the latest model. After the maxi ceramic 116610 was released, coupled with prices going up and availability going down, I started to lose interest in Rolex.
After the BB58 was released in 2018, it solved all the issues I had with the new subs. And now I’m purchasing the new BB54 soon. I still have love for Rolex, but Tudor is more beloved.

Yeah all Rolex hands and indices are gold even when they paint them black like that. It helps them to never tarnish
A sub is a sub, a BB is a BB. The perspective is not even the same
Good effort, but you can't just compare "specs". One look at the Polar - and I have one - and you think Fcuk Me, YES! You look at the Tudor Chrono and you think Meh, Generic, Derivitive, Just another Watch. Why? Rolex watches - most of them - are ICONS, largely unchanged in 50 or 70 years, and so are images that are burned into our skulls as ICONIC. That's why the only Omega that I could give a shit about is the Moon Watch - it looks are unchanged since the 1960's. The rest of their lineup changes from day to day, and is all about special editions, etc. NO THANKS. Give me a Rolex or give me Death. I have 4 Rolexes, and will have more. I also have a Royal Oak - for EXACTLY the same reasoning. D-U-H-!
