This is the 90s comeback version of DD. These guys were known as the second coming of the Beatles in the 80s because of the female mania surrounding them. Back then they were accused of being a fly by night boy band. 40+ years later they are slated to be inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame, coming in about 300k votes above then next closest contender. There is SO much you could check out, it can be overwhelming. I would say, start with 80s DD. Go back to the very beginning for their new wave/new romantic roots. Careless memories and or Planet Earth, both official videos.

Simon Lebon is arguably one of the best pop/rock singers in the last 40 years. If you want to get into 80's pop, Duran Duran is probably one of the best rabbit holes you can jump down. Check out 'Ordinary World', 'Notorious', 'Rio', 'Hungry Like The Wolf', 'Save A Prayer', 'New Moon on Monday', ye gods, girls, you've got some homework to do.! ^_~ But I bet you'll like it.

Try their Bond theme A View to a Kill, movie was a bit dull but the music is brilliant. Also Ordinary World is very good.
