Soooo.... These 16 year olds are basically having the same reaction to this song in 2022 as we did when we were 16 years old when it was brand new in 1983!! Almost 40 years ago!! I love it!!
takes me back to my teenage years (yes, I am getting old now). Best times. I remember listening to Duran Duran's "Hungry Like a Wolf" while cruising around. We were so innocent then. It will unfortunately never come back.
My favorite band growing up In the 80s.. and still to this day! Congrats to Duran Duran for recently being inducted into the Rock&Roll Hall of Fame, you deserve it 👏
Duran Duran!! Man this guy’s where freaking popular in the 80s! I still have this album in cassette!! Man how times fly! They still putting out great music today with their new album “Anniversary!” You girls should listen to their new song! Anniversary you’ll like it!👌😎👍👉❤️great reaction ladies!
This group has been together for 40 years. They still perform today in their 60s and are almost as popular as in the 80s. They have a new album out since Oct 2021. They are on tour now in America if you want to go see them.
Happy to acknowledge I was in middle school when this came out. The girls went absolute nuts over this, but frankly, so did the guys. I was a fan too. Lol The bassline is killer, the beat very danceable. These guys were just legendary!
Your response feels genuine. Love seeing kids reacting to the music like I did when I was your age. The song was hot! Duran Duran got us on the dance floor and you can see why.
There is just nooo way to get across in communicating how epic and popular this song and this band were when it came out. It shaped the fashion world, the entertainment industry, and held the modern world in its grasp for over half a year.
I luv it younger generation 💓 am getting into Duran Duran I've been a Duranie now 40 yrs plus they av just kicked off there future past tour in Chicago Saturday night 23 thousand five hundred ppl attended keep it up girl's fantastic brilliant awesome review xx
You girls are so adorable🥰! I was 10 years old when the song came out and just seeing you girls get as excited about them as I was back then makes my heart smile❤

Great reaction girls...thanks for transporting me back to my youth and the 1980s...check out the Careless Memories by them from As The Lights Go Down..great song...
Duran Duran is still making music and touring. I fell in love with them when I was 10 years old and I’m now 50. I’m finally going to see them in concert next week. I can’t wait!!!!
The eighties wwas an awesome time in musical history because so many different genres of music were flooding the airwaves all at once.Duran Duran was a big part of pop music and actually very talented musicians in their own right
Duran Duran!!! Oh my now that’s a awesome group to listen to and got to see them at the Hard Rock 8 yrs ago. Need to see them for sure and go to the next concert if they are in town. A must see
Great job ladies, I am old enough to have aeen that show during that tour in Miami and this video couldnt be stopped, Mtv had to retire it from the Friday night video contestz nothing touched it, DD got lunped into the video band because they took such pride in their visuals, but the most important thing was they are and continue to be a GREAT live band which is why they stood the test of time when a lot of their 80s peers vanished.
I smiled ear to ear the whole time I watched this.. As a lifelong Duranie to watch you two girls dancing and loving my band that I feel in love with when I was 11 years old just made my heart swell ❤️ It was priceless to see the love of the music of Duran Duran get passed down to future generations.. Well done girls! Long Live Duran Duran 💃🎵🎶💕
The water part being fun - when you young ladies are old enough , go to a Bubble Party ! It's a dance party with dance music , and they release big bunches of soap bubbles to dance in. It sounds weird but it's so fun.
This video popped up on my feed and I had to watch. Gen X, here, and one of my favorite bands ever. I was about 10 when I first saw this on "Night Tracks". Blew my mind. Also, developed a thing for UK men. And bass players. Lol. But that's another story. Love seeing how the kids are discovering our generation's artists. The 70s-mid 90s really were the time to be young & alive.
The Reflex 1984 What a year for the Fab5 Number 1 in the USA & the UK And in 1984 these 5 lads were the biggest band on planet earth Pardon the pun. Legend Nile Rogers produced this track too. My favourite band Since 1981 😀 Great review lady's 👏
Ah, the 80s. My era! Plus, loved Duran Duran (and Spandau Ballet... and many others! Ooh, Nik Kershaw! Ultravox!). The Reflex is an incredible song (their most successful single and second #1 in the UK), but I adored all of their output ('Wild Boys' is another favorite). And they're still going strong today.
Hi ladies. You should check out Duran Duran's video "Save a Prayer". Great song, but even better video, with gorgeous shots of Sri Lanka. Keep up the great work! Love ya both! 🌹🌹
Another great reaction! Let me recommend two songs. One is Duran Duran - "Ordinary World". I absolutely love that song! The other is one I have recommended before and will continue to recommend (just like I did with "Crimson Queen" until you reacted to it!), and that is The Warning - "REVENANT". You will absolutely love it! :)
Duran Duran was notorious for their antics. They drove the girls crazy in the the 80's. I saw them in concert once. They even had girls in their band just to make naughty girl noises.
7:40 very good point. Though Disco had faded out by the time Duran Duran came around, you can hear elements of Disco and funk that was still present in their music in the 80's.that kept us dancing!
Me da mucho gusto en ver a este par de jovencitas, disfrutar de buenos clásicos ochenteros y saber que tienen buen gusto musical? Sigan adelante y disfrutando 😊
Hiya gals.Your both bostin commenters from the heart.I love Duran Duran, all be it their from my home city Brum (Birmingham) Keep it up, you'll soon be Millions views in a few years.xx
The singer is Simon Le Bon. The bassist on the left with the blond is John Taylor. Andy Taylor no relation is the guitarist. Nick Rhodes plays the synth and Roger Taylor also no relation plays drums!
The concert footage was filmed at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto. I was there and it was amazing. I saw them again last night (August 22) and they are still incredible.
This was prime dancing days here in Scotland. A huge mix of folk in the clubs in the Eighties, with the New Romantic dancing to Duran Duran and Adam Ant - the Two-Toners larging it up to The Specials and Madness - the Rockers headbanging away to AC/DC - and of course the Punk Rockers doing the pogo to the Sex Pistols outside the club while waiting to beat us all up as we came out the club at 3 in the morning. 😀
Thanks, sisters, for reacting to one of my favorite hits from Duran Duran! Rio, Electric Barbarella, Ordinary World, Too Much Information, Falling Down are a few other hits I really enjoy.
You ladies might be getting to become Duranies. Let’s test my theory. Please react to the official video for Rio. Btw, they are still recording and touring 40years later. You can go see them if you want. 😉
I went to this tour as a teenager, same outfits, stage, everything the same...except the water fall of course is a special effect for the video. There was no water at the actual concert... 😅 But Duran Duran were awesome live and still are a great live band. They have so many great songs!
Mia have liked too much because she had dancing all the video, thank you for one more nice video about songs that sorrounded our minds, kisses Dana's Faith
I remember this era when digital technology was first appearing in studios. New sounds that were impossible before were now being put on every record and it was so fun. The world is a very dark place compared to this era. I hope we can get back to a much more carefree world.
My first concert was Duran Duran's Seven and the Ragged Tiger tour in 1984. My parents took my sister and her friends and I tagged along. Watching you react to this is like a flashback! There was no water haha. I think you would have liked it. But you girls are way more metal IMO. The next year my dad took me to the Iron Maiden Powerslave tour you would've liked that way better. :)
If you two want to see THE ultimate Duran Duran video, watch the original video for “Save A Prayer” that was filmed in Sri Lanka. They were known in the early 80’s for huge amount of money spent making their videos, which often took them to exotic locations around the world.
trustme when i say thisive seen duran duran liveabd its so worth the price and theyre stull making new musuc u dontsit forlong at their cincert yill be hamming and dancing
Hi Girls♥ some good songs from these guys. The name game from the cult movie "Barbarella" with Jane Fonda but I think it's rated R so just wait a few years
Great song. You have got to do "Hungry like the wolf". You will love it. It gets you moving. It is about a guy who's so attracted to a woman that he must fund her, making ing him like a wolf.

That's exactly why I love watching good reactors. Gives me that great flashback ❤
Very Cool!
This song/video takes me back and reminds me how fun and magical the 80s were. Truly an awesome decade...🙂
It was wonderful and I miss it all the time.
Well stated. We had some fun didn’t we??? ❤
takes me back to my teenage years (yes, I am getting old now). Best times. I remember listening to Duran Duran's "Hungry Like a Wolf" while cruising around. We were so innocent then. It will unfortunately never come back.
Remember watching MTV for the first time? Our household was the first on the block to have it part of basic cable.
Aww, the early 80's, man, how I miss it
My favorite band growing up In the 80s.. and still to this day! Congrats to Duran Duran for recently being inducted into the Rock&Roll Hall of Fame, you deserve it 👏
This song was so much fun back in the 80's! Yeah, I danced with you guys! That's what they were all about.
I wasn’t the only one dancing along with the video! What fun times we had!
the 80's and MTV were made for each other.

Same here. Especially love the verse melody

40 plus years. John and Nick since 1978- despite John leaving the band in the late 1990s as well.
The young generation has no idea of who Duran Duran even is!
