Girls, this was such a precious reaction. The Bee Gees pulled you both in very quickly. I encourage you to react to more of their music. They have so many great songs.
And your grandma grew up falling in love with the Bee Gees. And even your great fell in love as well.
@@mikedickison5003 Actually, neither is true, but thanks for playing.
I was referring to the girls, not necessarily to you. Since the Bags have been around over 50 years. I assumed that the girl's g- mom's might have listened to them. And even liked them
@@mikedickison5003 I wasn't sure to whom you were referring. And The Bags???
Sorry, apparently auto correct changed Bee Gees into bags. I didn't spell check.
Barry, in the middle, wrote the love songs for his wife who he’d been married to for seven or eight years when this song came out. And they’re still married now… Almost 53 years.
For a 12 year old you are smart, you're description that "this is what falling in love sounds like" is the best description I've heard for this song.
That was truly an honest reaction. The look on your face when they started singing was utter shock.
be gees melting ladies for over 50 years and the girl in red the smile never went away!! love first reactions to this song lol
I met my future wife when I was 16 and she was 15. we have been married for 52 years this year. this song absolutley describes what we feel for each other. Yet another great reaction video. Keep it up.
I love it when Mia closes her eyes and just rides the waves of sound. No words are needed. Glad you guys keep dabbling in the classics.
The Bee Gees one of the greatest groups in music history. In 1997 was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame The brothers Gibb: Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb and of course Barry with his iconic falsetto voice. Thank you girls for reacting this amazing song Too Much Heaven just excellent😊😊😊
I loved Robin's absolutely unique vibrato. Barry himself said his brother's voice was "killer".
@@susieq9801 That's right
im so happy to see young people find these 30 40 50yo songs that still make them say "ok that was good"
Yes, young ladies this is REAL music.
I was born in 1979 this song came out in 1978 I have a feeling that they had something to do with me existing lol 🤣
LOL!
THAT WAS DURING MY TIME AS A 13 YEAR OLD. THEY ARE IN THE TOP 5 OF MY FAVORITE GROUPS OF ALL TIME.
IT IS NICE TO SEE YOU ENJOY THEM AS MUCH AS I DO.
Welcome to the world of the Bee Gees. From K in Africa 🌍
The Bee Gees donated the royalties from this song to UNICEF. I think it raised 11 million dollars so far.
The one in the middle has that love with his wife. He took his family everywhere he went and after 50 years they're still in love. These decades were amazing. He said when he saw her it was love at first sight.
Thank you Mia and Juliet. It was a nice reaction.🌹🌹 Lots of love.❤❤And many hugs from Sweden
The Lord God looked at The Bee Gees & knew they were Magical.
Total flashback to prom 1980! Thanks ladies! Nobody harmonizes in falsetto like the Bee Gees! My mom had the biggest crush on Barry Gibb😎 I don't think my dad appreciated it but I always thought it was cute🌿
Please notice, three singers, one mike. The harmony you are hearing is as close to perfection as it gets.
Actually they weren't singing into One mic. They were lip syncing to the original recording. The whole thing is a music video. No one was singing or playing anything this doesn't demean their Talent though, they were amazing. In the studio each brother over dubbed his voice three times so you have nine vocal tracks. Also Barry's good is the highest during the chorus and there's always there on each chorus. Yet he stops to sing fill-ins and his part is still singing in the chorus. Plus you can't fade out like that live
This talk to text sucks!
All talent, pure voice, no such thing as auto tune back then!
WOW! This song brings back so many memories for me. I danced my very first slow song (aged 10) to this. My crush at the time, came over and asked me to dance with him. I was on cloud 9 the entire night. Yes, it was at a school dance. Every time I hear this song, I drift back in time. The Bee Gees were amazing. They had such a magical sound. It is a shame Barry Gibb is the only surviving brother. I had a huge crush on their younger brother, Andy Gibb, who was a solo artist. Thank you for this video reaction. There are many more great songs by The Bee Gees I think you will like. They were THE KINGS OF DISCO, back in the 70's!. Great review and spot on with what you both said about the song. Loved this! Love & Blessings!! 💗
I remember Shadow Dancing. That song was big!! Hope you are doing well my friend. btw.. as a kid, and adult, I keep getting my heart broken. You are soooooo lucky ( :
Excluding that guy who pushed you because he wanted the Fake Peter Chris shirt. Guess that wasn't a very lucky time.
@@shawnmichael777. oh yes! Believe me, it was not him...lol. I can't believe you remember when I mentioned that. Great memory, my friend. Hope all is well with you! 💗😘
@@suzycanusazep-girl68 All is well my friend. Course I remember that story. It was a masterpiece. Have a great week : )
@@shawnmichael777. so glad all is well with you, my sweet friend. It was a masterpiece story, wasn't it? LOL! I will never forget that incident. 🤭🤪🤣
Your reaction to The Bee Gees! Is the same reaction girls got back then when they used to see them perform! My sister used to go nuts for them! Specially Andy Gibb! They where very popular during the 60s and specially the 70s! During the disco era. They have a huge library of music! You young ladies should listen to more of them. I think you’ll enjoy their music!👌😎👍♥️great reaction! By the way! There’s only one survivor member from the band, they where all brothers. Andy Gibb the younger of the brothers passed away in 1988 at the young age of 30. The only surviving brother is Barry Gibb.
These guys can sing anything!!
I remember when you girls started out and basically only reacted to hard rock and heavy metal music.....WHICH WAS COOL!.....but it's great to see you two expanding your horizons as you get older and appreciating brilliant artists in other genres of music.....too many people condition their brains to appreciate only one type of sound....hitting The Bee Gees was a great choice for diversity!
I thought she was 12 when they started out. Shocked she is not a teenager yet!
@@ckobo84 Yeah, same here!
Thank you Gary for your beautiful comment!
I grew up listening to The Bee Gee’s great group and this song is very special to me! Hope you like it
I LOVE watching a woman fall in love hearing this song the first time (no matter her age) LOL... the girl with the red shirt never stopped smiling :) Great reaction!
BeeGees were brothers who wrote and sang over a thousand songs over a 5 decade period. They had a younger brother Andy who passed away very young just as he was about to join the BeeGees. He was also a talented singer, songwriter. Unfortunately of the 4 brothers the 3 youngest have passed. The Bee Gees were Barry the one in the middle and the twins Robin and Maurice with the beard. They were music for many many years. RIP Andy, Rob and Mo❤. It's good to see young people enjoying their music you should dig a little deeper into them. Their music evolved over each decade. They donated this song to UNICEF to raise money for children. They were the first band to gift a song to charity. You should listen to How Deep is your Love by the BeeGees. Now that's a love song. All BeeGees music is magic. They always lift people to a better place through their music.
This is one of the great songs of love of all time. It's just beautiful.
I found your channel looking for Bee Gees reactions.
The Gibb brothers are the most harmonic band to ever exist in my opinion. They sing insinc and are so heavenly. They are pure talent.
It's really beautiful to see the young girls react.
I love how the younger generations are bringing back and enjoying all the music 🎶
Keep learning older music so many good songs
I remember when this song and album came out. I dedicate this to Jeannine m. Prince. She was my girl in 80.
It's great see these young ones affected by such great music from the brilliant bee gees you made a old man very happy with your reaction. Thank you girls ❤️❤️❤️❤️
From a 60s born GenXer.. i am So Fortunate to grow up in the 70s as a kid, 80s as a teeny, late 80s and 90s as a young adult.. 3 decades of Amazing Music👌😉🤙
Watching you both swoon is adorable. Its over 40 years old, but it still works.
If this is your first Bee Gees reaction, you have a long and terrific path in front of you. Deep catalog to explore.
152nd..this was my HS Music - class of 79 ..the BeeGees were already Famous...But Saturday Night Fever Propelled them into Super Stardom.....the whole album sold a Gazillion copies... They're Brothers - Barry in the middle is the Oldest and Last One Still alive sadly.. :(
Robin on the left died of Cancer and Maurice on the Right died from complications after an operation - hard to belive this is over 40yrs old
YEE Girls YEE Nation 😍 wow wow it should be on your top 10 reaction list. Great job girls. You two deserve a million views on this one. Well said young Mia. You get it Juliet loved it thanks
I really miss the 70's. Back then songs were like a personal love letter between two people. Very intimate and heartfelt. And the 70's also had that funky vibe!
We would hear songs like this all day long on the radio. I never realized until recently how dead modern music sounds compared to the 70's.
i am 57 and grew up with the Bee Gees , i had such a hugh crush on Barry , the one in the middle . the youngest brother was named Andy Gibb and he was so good too , he died at 30 . he isn't singing with them here but if you will react to Shadow Dancing by him you will be so glad you did
Great reaction...Bee Gees...more than 280 million records sold worldwide...one of the greatest singing groups in history...shut the front door!
This rabbit hole is deep. Try them doing "How Deep Is Your Love", "Love So Right", and "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart". Then try their dance classics "Night Fever", "Stayin' Alive", "You Should Be Dancin' ", and "More Than A Woman".
Don't forget their 60's, 80's and 90's songs. Everyone always reacts to their 70's stuff!
Good picks since they're just beginning the Bee Gees journey😎!!
What was cute was when one of the girls said, "This song sounds like what love should be like?" I mean, what else can you say to that for me as great as the song sounds? The lyrics are simply some of the most beautiful lyrics ever put to music irrespective of genre. Great job girls and I loved the whole I'm only 12......but ❤
The Bee Gees are the greatest singers and song writers of all time! Barry’s falsetto!!!
Young women today need good love songs like this, not the trash that is put out denigrating them.
You young ladies are showing your matureness when you pointed out what this must sound like when in love. Very wise. You'll get there, and it's even much more than this, but this song goes along for the ride. Nice reaction.
This beautiful song came out long before either of you were thought of but the reaction was pretty dang good
“Nobody gets to much heaven no more “…..is an understatement their voices are like heaven!
@@sheilameyers152 their music still lives on even though there's only one left now
Congradulations! You've just been BG's. The way you two reacted to it is the same way many of us still react to this day when hearing them..... And a lot of us have been listening to them for 50 years or so. IMO, there's not another band in history that can match them, period. They have sooooo many great songs, when you have the time may I suggest you do "I could not love you more" and "Will you still love me tomorrow? One major difference between them and other bands is that they didn't write "love songs", but instead put music to emotions. Love songs , even though there are plenty of great ones out there can be forgotten. A person isn't going to forget their emotions.
Amazing reaction by two lovely and well grounded girls.
Much love from the UK.
Hey, you will enjoy EVERY Bee Gees song, not just two more. They wrote 1000s of GREAT songs and you will enjoy them all. Please just work your way through their catalog. You won't hit a bad one. They are brothers, and started writing and performing when Barry (the lead) was 16 and the two twins were 12! They are pure talent.
The Bee Gees were the greatest ever! Their music touches your heart and soul!! Watch Fanny be tender with my love 💓
You have to hear the BeeGees song "One". They sing, "baby you and I should be one". It can literally make you weep,.. like this song. The BeeGees were amazing!!
The Gibb brothers Barry in the middle flanked by twins Robin and Maurice. Ladies this is a rabbit hole worthy of Harvey (obscure OG reference) 😁
Way to go young ladies. Great reaction!
Incredible voices.
Sweet. No matter the age--this is beautiful music. The late 70s and 80s had fabulous music. Things were much simpler back then…. Everyone loved everyone. We loved and had a blast.
How bout that orchestra? Edit: great music never gets old!
I love the different facial expressions on these young ladies; one is studious and the other is more emotional...love it!!!!
first time singing this live. done in 1 take. best harmonies ever.
Bee Gees? You only have 1000 more songs to check out. That is how many they wrote for themselves and other famous artists. They hold all kinds of records (5 of the top 10 songs at one time, equaled by no one else). All three brothers were terrific and unique singers and composed together. They had a younger brother Andy who was a solo act. They were as good live as on record and often sang around one mic. My favorite singer of the three was Robin, on the left. His nickname was "Songbird". Barry and Robin had very different voices but when they sang together they sounded like one person....genetics of brothers. These guys were so good they just opened their mouths and treasures fell out. They sang together since the twins were 5 and older brother 9.
The Beatles did it first
@@timmccready1185 - Yes, my faux pas. Their top ten included a song sung by Andy too, not just them. I was around for the Beatles and saw them three times so "I should have known better". 🤣. The Bee Gees did write 100 top ten hits for themselves and various artists although not all were #1 in the US or UK but elsewhere.
Music will try hard but will never be as good as this. True musicians and groups today, understand the likes of the Bee Gees. Auto tune wont ever replace this.
The Bee Gees had smash hit after smash hit. Barry Gibb has the best falsetto ever and their harmonies are second to none. Even if you are not a Bee Gees fan it’s hard not to like their songs. So good
If you like this song you'll love "How deep is your love" also by the Bee Gees.
Hi, Dana's Faith.🌹🌹For you reaction. I loved it. Stay safe to you two and your loved ones.
Another Bee Gees song with a similar love vibe is "How Deep Is Your Love". I also recommend some of their Disco hits too like "You Should Be Dancing" or "Stayin' Alive"
Interesting info: Barry/center/oldest/main lyricist/lead singer; fraternal twins: Robin/in white/lyricist/lead singer & Maurice ('Morris') aka Mo/in black/harmonic & musical genius/rarely sang lead; but had a beautiful voice. They taught themselves to sing harmony at ages 9 & 6/twins; none could read or write music, but they wrote & composed all their own songs, plus hits for other people; their song catalog is close to 1000; at one point, they almost were the charts (5 songs in the Top 10); their career lasted almost 5 decades & was only ended by Mo's tragic death. They gifted all royalties from "Too Much Heaven", in perpetuity, to UNICEF... total is now in excess of $12million. They were among the most humble, intelligent, funny, kind, honest, & talented mega-superstars. The more you research & learn about the BeeGees, their story is almost unbelievable... 'guardian angels' appeared just when most needed... it's as if the universe knew the world needed these guys & their music...
How Deep is Your Love, Islands in the Stream, and Staying Alive are 3 must songs by the Brothers Gibb(the Bee Gees) that you must react too.
It's great to see young people react to this. There's so much more, keep digging!
Hi Reactors ❤️ you 2 are awsome persons and you can bee 12 years old but you have so right 👍🏼❤️ just Barry Gibb hi meet his girl Linda 1970 and Barry get post letters from girls in millions from the hole world and barry is still on his Love Lindas Side 👍🏼❤️🇸🇪 THX for a wonderful reaction on Bee Gees ❤️👍🏼🇸🇪
You girls are adorable! I am in my 50's and was probably your age when this music came out. The BeeGee's are the kings of the beautifully worded love song. Please check out How Deep Is Your Love.
Cool video ladies. I was 17 when this came out. You know what ? They sound even better with age. Glad your enjoying them too
I love BEEGEE music
It was a very good reaction I'm glad I ran into your video also just so you know I was there during the time they were popular and singing in concert and when I had seen them it was very very thrilling they sound exactly the same on stage as they do in your video because it was no such thing as auto-tune back then so what you're getting is pure talent
The Bee Gees were MASTERS of ballads and dance bangers!!!!!!!
BEE GEES , the angels of music
There's regular falsetto and there's The BeeGees. They take falsetto up to 11.
I am on a binge watching all you folks reacting to this song. It is such a thrill so see.
If you want to see them on stage and even more intense ,check out NIGHTS ON BROADWAY LIVE on THE MIDNIGHT SPECIAL 1975
They’re brothers who have been singing since the 50’s actually since they were kids
It sounds like HEAVEN!!! 💙💜💚
The Bee Gees was also on the Saturday Night Fever album.
Brings back a lot of good memories again. I was riding my Kmart brand Bicycle 🚲 with training wheels on. I was in my elementary years and a Hot 🥵 Summer movie 🎥🍿 came out! “The Saturday Night Fever” staring John Travolta etc. Keep up the good work girls ✌️🙏👍
WELCOME TO REAL MUSIC GIRLS
If everyone listened to that song there would be no more wars.
They ruled the disco era and beyond…Their Greatest Hits album was a triple album with about 56 songs on it.
Hey Mia and Juliette! It's been a day since I've stopped by to enjoy one of your reactions, but this one was great! They do so many great songs, but "How Do You Mend A Broken Heart" is one you dare not miss! Best wishes to you both!!
No auto tune just pure talent
The Bee Gees donated royalties from this song, estimated to be at least $7 million, to UNICEF. Along with Donna Summer, John Denver, Abba, and a few other big names, they pledged a song as part of the Music For Unicef Concert on January 9, 1979, held at the United Nations General Assembly in New York City. Their song, "Too Much Heaven," ended up being the #1 hit in America that week and the centerpiece of the show, which aired as a primetime special on NBC the next evening.
Hold on girls dis one is THEEEgame changer🔥⚡️🔥
You need to check out their disco stuff like Night Fever or Stayin' Alive or You Should be Dancing
🏝👏🏽👏🏽 FINALLY FINALLY been waiting
Hey young one's you just made my night that song brings good memories from backi the 80's
Love the music
fantastic song + reaction! Nobody harmonizes as well as these brothers :)
I'm a big fan of their disco songs of the 1970's, check out: 'Stayin Alive', 'Night Fever', 'More than a Woman', 'How Deep is Your Love', all great!
Agreed!
So glad you're giving 70's music a chance great decade for music, great reaction thank you, STILL HOPE FOR REAL MUSIC
I really love your reaction! So now you understand when the older people mean when they say they had Real music!! It’s perfect harmony and lyrics were just amazing
Hello ladies! Great to see you two again!
So glad you're back to reacting to great old songs, and especially slow ones. I was getting worried you guys were stuck on Metal. Don't get me wrong, Metal is great. But there's so much more out there. And the Bee Gees have a HUGE catalog of great songs! There's no such thing as a bad Bee Gees song!
Love to you both, from MD! ❤❤
I love your reaction. Please do more of them. They have so many hits. You will love all of them.
The Bee Gees had a very long career beginning when they were all just boys in the 60s. I like their older stuff like, "Massachusetts", "Words", "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart" and others. In the mid-70s they became THE disco artists along with Donna Summer, the Queen of Disco. There are too many hits to list; it's a very deep rabbit hole. Several commenters mentioned the brothers' names. The only thing that I would add to that is that Maurice is pronounced as "Morris" because of their English accent. It's also worth checking out their younger brother, Andy Gibb.
