They are brothers, that’s why they sound so good together. It’s from the movie Saturday Night Fever and it’s referring to how New York was so harsh during the 70’s and people were still saying alive despite all the violence and protests going on during that time. Great sound track for a movie. Should have been nominated for an academy award frankly, so many hits contributed by The Bee Gees.

The Bee Gees were a true force of nature in the music industry. They had hits in five consecutive decades. The Bee Gees are brothers. All three of them have amazing voices, all with an incredible range. The Bee Gees started singing at a very young age. They had their first #1 in the late sixties. The Bee Gees were songwriters first and performances second. Most people get to know the Bee Gees by either "Too much heaven" or the song "Staying Alive". These are songs within the 'Fever' era. Which is disco and falsetto mostly. Before they created 6 platinum albums without falsetto. The Bee Gees always adapted their style to the era they were in. Having 3 vocalists in the band makes for a wide gamut of sound. They altered lead, combined lead and always sang three part harmonies. They sang, ballads, rock, r&b and so on. They wrote hits for Barbara Streisand, Diana Ross, Kenny Rogers, Dione Warwick and many others. They sold well over 200 million records. Barry is in the top of most successful songwriters. They deserve way more credit then they were given in the past. So I am happy that you did this reaction. A new audience gets to know this awsome band. I am look forward to see another Bee Gees reaction to see what you think. There's a medley from their one for all tour, that shows their talent live. Not too many artists would be able to come closed to what they showed there. Live, and no autotune.

Barry (lead singer) actually has a somewhat deep chest voice, but he can really hit those high notes singing in falsetto. If you want to hear (and see) him singing using his regular chest voice, watch the Bee Gees perform the song "Nights On Broadway" LIVE on "The Midnight Special" from 1975. The video is here on RUclips. You will hear Barry's deep chest voice, Robin's vibrato voice, and Maurice's falsetto. All three brothers have an incredible vocal range and can sing in their regular voice as well as falsetto, and their harmonies are unbelievable.

Barry is singing in falsetto. He was the best falsetto in that era. His real voice is deeper although he has the ability to sing in different vocal ranges. The Bee Gees are a band of three brothers. Barry, the one singing lead and his twin brothers Robin with the long hair and Maurice shorter hair. The three have fantastic voices and take turns singing lead. They write all their own music and have written more than 1000+ songs for themselves and other top artists. Their contribution to the music world is invaluable. Please react to The Bee Gees TOO MUCH HEAVEN and HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE, thank you. ❤❤❤

I found your channel looking for Bee gees reactions. I was born in 1964 the last year of the Baby Boomers. I am 59 years old and the Bee Gees are my favorite group and Elvis my favorite singer. Stayin Alive is used by the Red Cross to teach CPR. This song was from the 1970s. Please react to the Bee gees song Fanny Be Tender With My Love.

La familia de los Bee Gees compró una vila en Ibiza a principios de los 70 y allí pasaban largas temporadas. Los Bee Gees iban por allí cuando sus compromisos profesionales lo permitían.

It was filmed on a studio backlot in their spare time while they were filming a movie, hence why the sets are broken and weathered. The sets have nothing to do with the lyrics!

Guinness World Records lists Barry Gibb as the second highest-grossing songwriter in history behind McCartney. Gibb's career spans more than 60 years. He and his brothers were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1994. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 as a member of the Bee Gees.
