I remember listening this in my 20s , I just love the the meaning of the song ..... It's basically saying "whose going to be there for you when you are at the lowest, whether it be your spouse , lover, or friend.
Absolutely stunning song by a very underrated band. They write and play their own instruments. Notorious, Ordinary World, Save a Prayer, Rio, The Reflex, Girls on Film, A View to a Kill (James Bond) etc etc

I was in high school when this one came out. You honestly can’t go wrong with any of Duran Duran’s catalog.

Blast from the past....love Duran Duran. They had very popular videos in the 80s.......
Duran Duran is my favorite eighties band and they were part of that second British invasion of the musical type. I am a Duranie forever. They started out as a five-piece band with lead singer Simon Le Bon, John Taylor, Roger Taylor, Nick Rhodes, and Andy Taylor (none of the Taylors are related). The band is still together (all but Andy) and still tour and release new music. They just got their first-time nomination to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for the 2022 class and I am so happy for them. This song was released in 1993 and I love it but you have got to check out some of their eighties hits, such as, Rio, Hungry Like The Wolf, Save A Prayer, The Reflex, Girls On Film, The Union of the Snake, Wild Boys, New Moon On Monday, Friends of Mine, The Chauffer and more! These guys were so creative and had the best videos on MTV at the time! They even split off into two separate bands, Arcadia and The Power Station, and made hits and then got back together and continued making hits as Duran Duran! They are very special and really deserve to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! 💖💖

Ordinary World is another fabulous 90s version of Duran Duran..you really have to check them out in their 80s glory when they ruled the world! Check out Rio, Save a Prayer or Hungry like the Wolf.

Hey great reaction. These guys were the biggest band in the US in the 80’s. Massive. You should check out The Reflex which is 10 years earlier than this. They have 20 top 10 hits in the US and are still going strong today. Phenomenal talent for a band that was so massive back in the day. Live to see The Reflex. They also have amazing videos
They were very popular but “the biggest band in the US in the 80’s” is a slight over exaggeration. Def Leopard, U2, Guns and Roses and many others sold many more records......but they were popular for sure.

DD has been around since 1978, they peaked arund 80-85 and were one of the first band to make realy good videos for there songs, thou they were baned from MTV with there vidoe "girls on film". They also got to do the theme song for the James Bond movie "A view to kill"

_Duran Duran_ is the only _Pop_ band that I can think of that was successful in the 80's but also made fun of, go ghost, only to come back in the 90's with better evolved music, more success & no longer the punch line in that era _Duran Duran._
