I've heard Robbie say several times he moved to California because he could walk anywhere and no one knew who he was and he loved it. Biggest star in the world except America.
Robbie was part of a boy band called Take That. The fans were heartbroken when he chose to leave the group. He wasn’t sure if the fans would still love him, but they did. Myself included. The song is about his mum ❤️❤️❤️
Gary Barlow was the talented one, he could sing/write and play, Robbie was the natural entertainer and could sing. The song is about his aunt and uncle according to Robbie and Wki

It's actually stolen! 'I'm loving angels instead' is a line referring to grieving the death of an unborn child. Robbie recorded a demo with an Irish songwriter he met in Dublin and took the demo to Guy Chambers and they reworked it (and made it a lot better), there are videos on here of the original version. But Robbie was not forthcoming about the songs origin initially and often dedicated it to his mum.
Probably the best concert that myself and my late wife attended. 130,000 people at each of the 3 concerts. This is an anthem in the UK. We played this at Vals funeral when 300 people sang Angels to her. Not a dry eye in the church. A magical song !!
That's a heartwarming story. My wife, Siani, loved this song, too. I lost her to MND in 2013. I just can't help but keep coming back to this reaction video and every time it breaks my heart.
I saw him live at Wembley. Incredible. Angels was last. He sang the first 4 lines. Then he and the band walked off stage. Never to return. We sang the whole song by ourselves, tears streaming down our faces. Apparently. He used to stand outside the stadium every night, listening to the crowd sing. Amazing. He’s had some troubles. But we bloody love him. He’s our boy who we’ve watched grow up. Love you Robbie.
I've shown my granddaughter 3 songs from this concert, but I've never heard of Come Undone, so I thought I'd go and check it out myself. I absolutely loved it, and I remembered that I had seen it once before when 3 guys reacted to this whole concert. Needless to say though, as far as my granddaughter is concerned, I'll give that one a miss. 😄

I've played Knebworth a couple of times (backing musician) - its usually wild but extremely well organised. Crowds of 250,000 saw Oasis in 96, this gig in 03 saw 750,000 over three days and I think another 3 million watched the live tv broadcast. No-one does festivals like the Brits.
I saw a BBC article saying 375,000 over three nights for this show, but I'm not sure how they counted. That might be unique visitors rather than per day (convention counting).
😉I think Jess is now a Robbie fan Here in the UK he is a national treasure. Everyone knows the words to his songs. It's life affirming stuff. Brilliant. He was a huge part of the 90's and early 2000's

Robbie has been famous since he was 16 and we grew up with him and his music . The Knebworth concert saw 375,000 over three nights. Do watch his Netflix series about his life. He is amazing live .
I'm a massive Freddie Mercury fan, so I don't say this lightly - Robbie Williams is, in my opinion, the closest any other performer has come to being the one-in-a-million entertainer that Freddie was. If anyone could lace his boots, it would be Robbie. I wasn't a fan of Robbie growing up, but I later learned to appreciate his showmanship, and he has some great songs. But my can he capture an audience and hold them in his hand, just like Freddie could. I have a huge amount of respect for Robbie Williams now. That Knebworth concert was particularly amazing, and he did some other great songs that night. I'd encourage you both to check out Me and My Monkey, and Come Undone. Great songs. Much love guys, keep up the great work ♥
The Oktoberfest is currently taking place in Munich (Germany) (millions of visitors from all over the world every year) and this song is always played as the closing song in the big festival tent and yes, everyone sings it there too!!!
In total over three nights there were 375,000 people at Knebworth. I recall watching it on tv. Love Robbie, as other commenters have suggested, please watch the royal Albert hall concert with him, he sings swing music, it’s amazing.
If you look at the end, as he moves to the centre of the stage behind the confetti, he mouths "Have I done alright?" still never believed in himself as his fans did.
You have to listen to him live at the Albert hall, to see the other side of Robbie. There’s a lot more songs from this concert you will ❤️ them, Robbie was born to entertain 👍🏻😁🏴
I wouldn't call myself a massive Robbie Williams fan, but he's fantastic live. Years ago one of my friends had tickets to go see his show, but then she got ill on the night and couldn't go. She offered me the ticket and so I suddenly found myself there at one of the best stadium concerts I've ever been to. He's truly a brilliant entertainer. You don't even have to know his songs, I guarantee you'll have a great time anyway.
American here. Been a HUGE fan of Robbie since his first solo album. LOVE 💕 HIM❤ You need to watch the entire concert. Someone here on RUclips has it but missing his song Kids. You can feel the energy and love when you listen to this in the car.
Robbie literally is one of the nice guys in the music business. He's had his struggles with alcohol drugs in the past but he's been happily married to American Ayda Field since 2010. I personally think their relationship saved him plus of course their beloved 4 children. I have a lot of time for Robbie because I think he's a genuine person...and the man can hold a tune too 😁🥰
I was in hospital, for 8 months 4 in a coma, that song was played over headphones to me whilst I was out, I came around, still means so much to me. I always cry lol, and I am not a soppy guy!
Angels was released not long before Christmas in December of 1997. I was in my final year at university, St.Johns in York. This song was absolutely massive!! Played everywhere and you could guarantee it was always the last song of the night in clubs and bars. We all drunkenly danced, hugged and sang along. I have the most fantastic memories of this time in my life. Was also the last song of our final summer ball. ❤
His song Feel, from this same concert, but please watch until the very end. Robbie struggled with mental health issues and has been very open about his struggles. You can see and feel the crowd give back to him so much love. It's a beautiful moment.

I remember watching this back in 2003!! Always been a huge fan of Robbie, one of the best British singers with ease and can certainly put on a show. There was over 375,000 people over 3 days, plus over 3.5 million who watched on TV and online, and it broke the record for biggest music event in history at the time. His album "Live at Knebworth" also sold over 2 million copies which was also the second fastest and biggest selling live album in the UK.
My mum went to this concert. She was near the back, so one of the first to go, and it still took her 3 hours to get out of the car park at the end. There's a reason it's still the largest concert the UK's ever seen
You should watch Robbie doing "Feel" from the same event. It was so emotional. Guarantee Jess would need the tissues. Robbie was very vulnerable at this stage in life

Hi M&J, Wasn't a Robbie fan but absolutely adore this song & this live performance.....He played 3 nights here to an overall crowd of 375,000, Love your Reactions 🇺🇸💚🇬🇧✌️👍
My wife bumped into Robbie Williams at a charity golf tournament in Wales. She's a strikingly beautiful tall woman. Robbie clocked her and told her she was gorgeous. He then signed his name on the small of her back. She plays it down saying her was drunk but I'm kinda proud of that 😊
Never was into the boy bands or girl bands (dancing around0, but when someone in the group goes solo career and are even more amazing, love Robbie (Mel C also) . Their apprehension and doubts on whether they have fans who will still love them must be unbelievable. My appreciation on their courage and talent .
I was there and only like a few rows from the front. It was CRAZY!! - And also, did you notice not a single smart-phone in sight... this was pre smart-phone and people just lived the moment and not viewed it all through their screens!! At one point he came over the top of the crowd on a huge crane-arm and I managed to high five him as he went past... good times!
Well said Ian.. Beat me to it. 'Mr Bojangles' was my favourite but it was a great concert and it took guts for a pop star to do it but he pulled it off big time. I have the CD.
I wasn’t at Knebworth but I saw Robbie a couple of times. Believe me, it wasn’t just the women that knew all the words! And the thing about Robbie was that where a lot of artists, especially now, produce incredibly polished and choreographed shows - and I’m not knocking that - he could hold the stage and massive crowds with very little of that. He was an incredible showman. And the era that Angels comes from when he was writing with Guy Chambers produced so many extraordinary songs. Guys I knew took the piss out of me for liking Robbie, but he was just awesome. Loved him.
Record label guy once said that Robbie is the perfect artist. Coming from a boy band ladies love him and even guys think that he's cool. Perfect combination!
I was there! It was A...MA...ZING. Best concert ever. Robbie is a great entertainer and his backstory is something else. Good thing he has a Biopic coming out soon so you can watch it. ❤Loved how you fell in love with him live on air. 😂
How Robbie Williams never made it big in the States with the voice he had still amazes me. It's taken me 20 years but my god he has such an incredible voice. He's a man whose had a lot of battles and, thankfully, won them all. Propper British Treasure. Late 90's to mid Noughties you couldn't take any length car journey without one of his hits playing on the radio.
I would never pay to go to a Take That concert but a few years back a friend had 4 tickets and someone couldn't go so I took there place. I don't know their music but that had to be one of the best nights I've had. They were incredible. Such fantastic showmen
Absolutely loved the Knebworth concert Robbie definitely loved that moment also highly recommended watched the "swing when your winning" Tv concert he did especially his cover of Mr Bojangles and My Way.
I was at that concert, I live in Stevenage, Knebworth House where this concert was held is about 800 yards from our town , the concert was absolutely stunning the atmosphere was electric great memories.

Hi M&J, Wasn't a Robbie fan but absolutely adore this song & this live performance.....He played 3 nights here to an overall crowd of 375,000, Love your Reactions 🇺🇸💚🇬🇧✌️👍
Thank you for enjoying this reaction with us friend! Much love to you! 💜💚
What an epic energy! Even if I’ve never been a huge Robbie fan, I’ll give him full credit for being a great showman.
I was there and only like a few rows from the front. It was CRAZY!! - And also, did you notice not a single smart-phone in sight... this was pre smart-phone and people just lived the moment and not viewed it all through their screens!!
At one point he came over the top of the crowd on a huge crane-arm and I managed to high five him as he went past... good times!
Cool 😮
Advertising Space is my fav Robbie Williams song.
He has had many hits and you should check out his swing concert he did where he showed he could sing classic swing songs as well.
Just going to say that, thank you.
Ditto!
Watch this every Xmas! Nostalgia 🎉
Hell yes!
Well said Ian.. Beat me to it. 'Mr Bojangles' was my favourite but it was a great concert and it took guts for a pop star to do it but he pulled it off big time. I have the CD.
I never seen this thanks 4 uploading it was fantastic from cheeky chappie Robbie 😊 who indeed is very talented thanks enjoyed a lot
You really need to see more of Robbie at Knebworth. Great reactions. Glad to see you back.
People in the UK don't mess around when it comes to festivals or any kind of music concerts! Love your reactions 💜🫰
Loved him.
He is still awesome.
Record label guy once said that Robbie is the perfect artist. Coming from a boy band ladies love him and even guys think that he's cool. Perfect combination!
robbie still gets the same reaction now when he tours
I never understood why Robbie didn't make it big in America. He has such a huge back catalogue of songs that were big in the UK.
You can't go wrong with Robbie Williams live! ♥ < keep on reacting to him and his hits!
I just felt like I was 13 again watching that 😂😂😂 he’s so good looking yeah that smile ❤
He is amazing. I love him. Incredible voice.
I was there and it was AMAZING. Not sure if you noticed but there were just as many guys there as girls. We all love him ❤
Absolutely loved the Knebworth concert Robbie definitely loved that moment also highly recommended watched the "swing when your winning" Tv concert he did especially his cover of Mr Bojangles and My Way.
I was at that concert, I live in Stevenage, Knebworth House where this concert was held is about 800 yards from our town , the concert was absolutely stunning the atmosphere was electric great memories.
Come undone at Knebworth is a must
The whole concert is mind blowing! “Let me Entertain You” is the best! Huge Robbie Willams fan from the USA!
😍 Shivers down my spine and tears in my eyes- reminds me of an angel who stood by me through a desperate time in my life - I hope she knows - I will never forget her and what she did 😢
Don't hope she knows. Make sure she knows.
About time 😂😂 Robbie is a real cheeky chap . A uk icon true all round entertainer. If you get the chance you should watch his documentary he just made will tell you all ya need to noooo about him .. . Truly a great and must watch NETFLIX 4 PART DOCUMENTARY aired 2023

I’ve seen Robbie perform around 10 times. First time was when he first left take that and the last time was at Wembley just before the Covid lockdown… he’s fantastic and always gives 100% to his audience
