Kawasaki put out a news bulletin a few years ago. Straight 30 and 10w30 is not the recommended choice now. Kawasaki and I believe other engine brands recommend 10w40 with the latest engines. Obviously you can still use straight 30 or 10w30 and never have a problem but there must be a reason for the recommended viscosity change.
Grasspro geographic location is key. I don’t work when temperatures are below 32 degrees anyway. Straight 30 protects me best in hot summers here in the south.
