Just an FYI, I took a plastic oil funnel cut off part of the one side so it slides under the oil filter without interfering with the filters removal and it drains perfect into the pan (same as you positioned it). No oil on the frame!!!!
I have a question maybe you can help me. I have the same mower and it runs normal but when i try to mow if feels like it dont have enought power and it shuts off, i already did the oil change and change the plugs and still same thing, any ideas?
Well I meant was I have an exmark and the recommended oil was exmark premium oil. I've heard some people use motor oil for there lawn mowers . Do you think it's all the same
If you would like to throw a small tip in my tip jar, click this button ($ Thanks) above.
Great directions for someone who has never changed oil before!

carlos pacheco check out my ignition coil videos. It’s sounds like possibly an ignition coil problem.
I realize that when taking off the oil filter I said "unloosen" once and that is not correct. I meant to say loosen.
I have a couple of questions for u. About your mower. I am having problems with mine. And u might know what's wrong. Please pm me.
What kind of tool did you use to tighten the oil filter?
Travis Miles it’s an oil filter socket. Shown at 1.09 in the video. Hope this helps.
ReichpoloTech thank you!

So you can use motor oil on a lawn motor rather than the recommended oil to use with the lawn mower
That is the recommended oil weight for this engine. SAE 10w30. It says it in the manual.

@@DavidRodriguez-qt5ux As log as you are using the proper weight, I believe they are the same.
Some Manufacturers will extend the warranty longer if you use their branded oil. Stihl is one brand I know that does this.
