bad brains was the artist that got me into punk, and given a lot of my favorite bands the influence is so apparent. great video dude i didn’t know a lot of this, awesome to learn about!!
great video again man! a bit glad you didnt end up covering their later era too much, like Quickness. that album ended up having some homophobic topics in it. Ian MacKaye even talked about that a bit
@@Jamsandwhichtopia yeah definitely. you covered a very significant era they had tho which is more important. also have you ever thought about covering specific scenes of punk? like the Olympia scene in Washington, D.C., New York, Chicago, etc... theyre all pretty interesting places with diverse bands so itd be cool
I searched last night and didn't find anything including my little brother who has been MIA for decades. I remember seeing them open for Unwritten Law and Blink way back in the day and they blew both of those bands off the stage- it was awesome. Two of my old-school skate punk friends were there to see Blink and they even thought Ground was legit. They were really authentic- the singer was a guy named Ryan Gillian and he was a real artist like HR.@@Jamsandwhichtopia

Thanks man! Yeah I was gonna originally cover everything but I realized how much of a drag that would be
