out of the 27,122 songs, 19,469 albums, and 12,763 artists i have listened to in my lifetime, no artist has impacted me quite like sewerslvt. i heard pretty cvnt through the youtube music algorithm when i was at a hotel back in 2019 when it first came out, and as a 14 year old with super minimal life experiences, i had never heard music that was this *different*. i'd had a bad perception of things like it, considered it weird and uncomfortable, and thrown it aside. and while i don't resonate with that song specifically as much anymore, it *really* changed me that day. it changed my whole mindset with things that were different. then delving into her whole discography and eventually listening to the absolute perfection that we had good times together, don't forget that is, just solidified my newfound mindset the more i adventured. i firmly believe to this day that sick, twisted, demented is the most accurate depiction of emotion in a music form i have ever heard. that one afternoon at a hotel changed me so much. i love sewerslvt, and i hope she's able to live with some solace with the knowledge of how much she's inspired millions of people.
Thx for sharing your experience. I think I just found her through Spotify recommendation but I’ve always wished other breakcore artists hit as hard as she does because I haven’t found anything close (but I do still love the other breakcore I’ve found)
also this video was super beautiful especially in the latter half. I really like the way you talked about sewerslvt and humanize her because ive seen way too much shit on the internet that will immediately take the demonizing route for moral superiority while not being able to look at her as a complex human being that was going thru a fuck ton of shit, flaws and all. There’s a little bit of sewerslvt in us all, and I think her music, especially her last album, is definitely something that gets me misty eyed and makes me sit with all of my flaws and sadness and trauma. I feel like a lot of people want to distance themselves from the possibility of ending up like her or developing some of the problematic inclinations shes had. But i feel like as grim as it is, everyone on earth is only a few dozen bad decisions away from ending up in the same boat or worse. Especially when you’re adding in isolation, being socially outcast, the pains of growing up, and coming to terms with being in the wrong body and what that even means for you and how that changes how the whole of society treats you and looks at you. And her music shows that she’s still as tragically human as the rest of us. Wherever she is, I hope she’s doing okay.
i hope theres a part 2 of this, i want to hear you talk about other emotions like hopelessness which is an emotion i feel the most whilst listening to breakcore. it was a much needed video, makes me wanna talk about this topic too. anyways, an artist i thought was very good was sorryaboutmyface. also found about these 2 rather new artist that make very good bangers, one is called lovekorusa and the other is called crys
Thank you for this comment, I was feeling a little unsure about this video but I’m really glad you liked it. I’ll dive into hopelessness more when I make a full video on Sewerslvt in the future. I’ll check out those artists you suggested too!
I’m flattered thanks man! Some of my other videos got a couple thousand which was cool. Just gotta keep making stuff, consistency works better than anything else B)
@@Jamsandwhichtopia can you send the link, I've looked it up a few times and can't find anything. I've spent like 20 mins trying to find a similar video to yours so it will be cool to watch 😎

Now I have more music to listen to and I actually learned a few things 😲 I’m excited to see the next video on this topic 😎 you did great homie
It’s just a cheap mic I found on Amazon I forgot the brand I’ll check later. When I save up I’ll get another because it is certainly a massive pain to work with lol. I’m glad you still found enjoyment in the video though!
It's sometimes nice to have someone remind you about all that. I love breakcore with all my heart but sometimes I just forget about what's important in it.
Femtanyl is a great artist too. I was considering talking about them but ultimately swapped them for someone else. I had quite a lot of extra artists written down just for plenty of options lol
I noticed after thank you😭 For some reason the audio is always different when I’m listening in my editing software vs RUclips but I’ll mess around with it more lol
Yeah the stuff like around 3:52 and 4:01 with all the lines. It kinda reminds me of that electric sheep program or the old window movie player visualizer.

I've never heard of any of these artists and they are all really good :D
This amount of quality with only 271 views? Absolutely criminal, you have to be breaking some sort of laws

This is the only good video that covers breakcore on the entirety of the internet well done Jam
Thank you but I have to disagree. You should check out my friend’s channel Eternal Worm. He’s also done a pretty sick video on it!
