LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - Welcome to LA, one of the best Mexican street food cities in the entire world. Today, we’re taking you on an ultimate street food tour with @mexipapaadventures . We’ll be having a special backyard breakfast in Compton, eating a carnitas chilaquiles burrito, dino sized goat leg bones, and finishing with an entire al pastor taco experience. Let’s get ready to eat!

Pajaretes - There’s no doubt, pajaretes is one of the greatest and craziest food experiences in all of Los Angeles. Popular especially on ranches in Mexico where you need a quick breakfast as you’re milking the animals, a pajarete is a cup of fresh milk with some toppings. It’s all self service, you add coffee, milk, sugar, a shot of alcohol, and cinnamon and then spray in - directly from the cow or goat of your choice - fresh milk. It’s a life changing breakfast moment. There’s nothing better than goat to cup!
Carnitas Los Dos Chingones - goo.gl/maps/3s... - Next up on this ultimate Mexican street food tour in Los Angeles, we headed to Carnitas Los Dos Chingones where they make an insane carnitas chilaquiles burrito for breakfast.
Birrieria Barajas - g.page/Birrier... - Next, we headed back to Compton and to Birrieria Barajas for their Jalisco style goat birria. The goat is baked so it has an incredible soft yet crunchy texture. It’s paired with soup and you can season as you like with onions, cilantro, and salsa. We ordered the Mexi Papa special, including a dino sized goat drumstick, and rib meat. So good, one of the best real deal Jalisco birria spots in Los Angeles.
El Taco Grande - goo.gl/maps/6i... - Finally to finish off this street food tour, we went to El Taco Grande, one of the staples of Los Angeles Mexican food. They arranged to prepare an entire shawarma “trompo” of al pastor - pork marinated in chiles and citrus and onions, and stacked. The flavor was so good, and they have a special technique of roasting the meat, then slicing it and frying it on the hot griddle before serving it to you. That way all the al pastor is cooked, crispy, and smoky. Some of the best al pastor tacos in LA.
Again, a massive thank you to Mexi Papa for taking me on this ultimate Mexican street food tour in Los Angeles - and easily one of the craziest food experiences in all of LA!

I really love how humble and respectful Mark is. So many people could learn from this great man. No matter where he is or where he goes, he respects all people and cultures. Love it:
Thank you very much for your support Sonya, have a fantastic day!
@@MarkWiens You as well. And your family.
💯💯💯
Me,my husband and 9 year old daughter watch you all the time, loove you and your family,we know its good ny you faces lol
Sonya, Do you bow down to Mark before speaking to him?
The first 16 minutes of this video, was honestly some of my most favorite content you've done, Mark! I'm Samoan - but I completely relate to the hospitality, home grown, humble and carefree vibes that was displayed! Ain't nothing like a backyard jam session with good hearted people and animals 😍😭 makes me miss home and my loved ones 🤒 thank you for sharing this!! 💕💕
Yup, As a native Angeleno, I spent many a Summer with uncles, aunts, and cousins in houses that were very similar to this. My grandmother had pig pen in her back yard. They had a sow and the piglets would be raised for slaughter or trade. If my aunt made chicken soup, they would grab one of the chickens running around for dinner.
One of the things I remember the most is how black the sky looked at night and I never saw so many stars in my life. You can't see that in LA. Great memories.
It’s amazing how flexible those flour tortillas are. I attempt to make these and the tortilla cracks
I am canadian and seeing this environment makes me crave for it. This is sense of bondness and community doesn't exist in places like here, in such a casual way. Really inspiring stuff.
As somebody who lives in LA, I respect just how deep into South LA (where it’s mostly Black and Latino) Mark went to find Mexican food off the beaten path. Some of those spots are places where foodie hipsters would never venture to.
I was gonna say the same thing
this why we love mark
@@lpmcarthur small price to pay for the best tacos
Mark knows where the best food really comes from 💯 & he has street credit, this man can be anywhere in the world and not worry. 😂

I just LOVE Mexicans, such humble, smiling, embracing people, hard working as well. Such a deep cultural culinary experience accentuated by the best foodie, Mark Weins..such an ambassador for the culinary institution. Mark embraces the ethnic populace with such humility and grace and here...he highlights everything good and pure and Mexicans and their food...love Mexi Papa btw..what a suave, smooth, embracing person.
The way the band broke out into song when amigo kicked off the cap.....priceless!
Took him 99 times..Priceless!
Mark ,when you looked at the goat and said" Thank you!❤"with so much gratitude in ur eyes...you have my respect ,forever!
We're so spoiled here in LA, we have so many options of food from around the world.
I’m so jealous you get it a bit in Australia but not like LA
Man, this makes me miss California and the kindness and amazing food of the Mexican community.
I love how Mark sheds light in places where people stay away from due to its reputation. If you're staying away because you're scared, you're missing out on a lot of great food and a lot of amazing people!! Thank you Mark
ruclips.net/video/0UKOIR_KqH8/видео.html
But there is still a risk for newcomers tho
Great really
I am pretty sure there's a reason people wanna stay away. So I don't think you should invite people and risk their life or belongings. I wouldn't do that.
The best food is in the ghetto
My husband passed away last year and we used to watch you religious! I haven’t been able too until recently. I tried a while back it was hard. I just noticed your channel has ground tremendously in the last year! I’m very happy for you! Anyways l wanted to thank you for the great content my late husband and I really enjoyed watching you and I’ll continue our tradition although it’ll be painful in the beginning..
Man as an Indian, I have always been in love with Mexican food. We have some similarities when it comes to the spice and everything but Mexico has always been a mystery to me that I want to discover with all my heart. I hope I can visit the country once to just explore it's culture to the core. Great video Mark! As always, rejuvenates my love for food everytime I watch your videos 🥂✨

Mark, You are the OG when it comes to food vlogging. Thanks for all the personal sacrifices you make to share your global experience with us. We are all very grateful.
I am currently going through a rather painful period of work stress, feeling ostracised by a group of 'once besties', marriage tensions and getting sick of social media - and nothing on youtube gave me relief, except for these wonderful Mark Wiens' videos!! Thank you so much for your energy, and connection with the other hosts, sharing and just smiling, being happy and grateful. I can't say thank you enough. I could have jumped if not for your videos. Upon reflection it scared myself.
I get a pick me up too. Hope the bad things pass…
No words. None. Just drool from beginning to end. And Mexi Papa? What an amazing ambassador - cannot wait to start in on his videos next!

Oh my! What a great serenade! Thanks so much for the excellent experience!
Mark is, without a doubt, the most interesting "food eater" to follow. Genuine and down to earth.
Just discovered him through my favorite food reviewer, You should check him out his channel is called "best ever food reviews" he's also great like this guy
Big facts for both channels. My 0.02 cents
Look at simply dumplings too. Mikey Chen 🔥🔥🔥
The backyard band really brought back memories. The lyrics. The way the ranch looks. Brings back childhood memories. I miss my dear Mexico. Algún día regresaré. Thank you Mark. You are incredible!

Thank you for showcasing so many different cultures through your videos. The level of respect you show people is really admirable.
Does anyone else take bites of the food that isn't there while watching him eat. 😂 I grew up in so cal so we made regular trips to Tijuana, Ensenada, and Puerto nuevo for fish tacos and deep fried lobster tacos with beans rice salsas, those are some of my best memories.
Pajaretes and Cervezas 🍺 to start the day has got to be a first for Mark. 😆
Those *breakfast burritos* looked absolutely amazing.
Love *Al Pastor* but I do like a bit of pineapple 🍍with mine.
Bro U have to have a bit of that pineapple if not u messing
Thanks Tosh, best way to start the day!
@Logical-thinker He did say RANCHER style, which is the key word. It's common for people that milk cows or goats which commonly happens in rural areas. If you grew up in a city than you probably never heard of it. But, if you're a rancher (ganadero or vaquero whichever you want to call it) and wake up a 3-4 am to milk cows than you will want to drink something warm to start your day, especially in the cold months. I'm talking from personal experience here and I have seen people here in Chihuahua do this so you are incorrect in saying it's a jalisco thing. Rather it is a vaquero thing.
I'm Asian and I can say that Mexicans are very on point with their food. They invented their own style of cuisine unlike anywhere else in the world and it ended up being a genius combination of textures, savory, sweet, spicy just like the top Asian foods but in a totally different interpretation.
🥰🥰🥰🥰
Maxican food is very similar to INDIAN FOOD
Ethiopian and Thai food top my list.
@@amandeep389 Yes, Indian food is also in my top cuisines. Here are my top cuisines: Trini, Thai, Malaysian, Indian, Sri Lankan, Jamaican, Turkish, Mexican, Southern USA Soul Food/Cajun. Basically any sweet, savory, spicy combination with some type of curry, bara, roti.
Yeah that’s with every culture 😂 it’s an opinion
Mark is so respectful. Even if he doesn’t care for the food or drink, he stays humble in his response. Class act. Mark you are a humble man. Thank you for your platform.
I’m sure he cares
When he made those burritos with the chilaquiles, I almost booked a flight to LA right then. Mouth watering!!
Haha lol. I live in LA, and I felt the same way when he went to Philly! Those Italian sub sandwiches made with that soft bread, made me want to lick my screen!
I'll be on my way in the morning
Same here bro...I sent the video to my brother at 1130 PM last night and told him to fast forward to the breakfast burrito....🤤
Find the Taco Bell around the corner 😂
Man, I want to too so bad
Luckily for me I can literally walk over there
As a Mexican, I can certify this was super authentic 🤝

If you grew up close to the street with an appreciation for the more soul food types and old nanas selling stuff, this is your channel. Mark is the child of missionaries that traveled the world and it shaped how he saw and interacted with cultures.
I love how Mark thanked the goat, the cow, and said "you are the star".
