This standard gas engine is both port -and- direct fuel injected. Nice. Keeps the back of the valves clean. Wish all normally aspirated engines were like that.
I just bought my 2024 corrolla cross in the same color as the video in xle and I love it. Very easy to handle and most of all it fits in my garage no problem. Thanks for an amazing video 😊
The blinking is to do with the refresh rate of the screen as opposed to the FPS the camera records. When they're not in sync you get that flickering affect on recorded screens.
I'm considering the 2024 Toyota Cross L AWD or the 2024 Honda HRV LX AWD. Anyone have an opinion on these two? Ive sat in the Honda and will give it a test drive in a couple of weeks. Looked good. I wonder if yhe Cross has more features.
I have a 2024 Honda hrv. It's only 2 weeks old and having vibration issues while driving 40 to 70 mph. Now taking to 4th dealership to see what issue is . Possibly a lemon car. It's getting out of hand. Not happy with vehicle. Good luck
Nice looking Corolla, but small inside and low on power to really move and accelerate, I’ve seen these in the $30K range, you’re better off spending more money and getting a RAV4 XLE gas if you're going to spend that much money.
I have a Nissan with a CVT for 8 years now. Around year 4, I was having problems with the cvt. Nissan reprogrammed it (free) and my car drives decent with almost 160k miles on it. I can't go over 75 mph for too long though without feeling like the transmission is slipping. 🙄
Parents just bought one, was disgusted by the price vs the features you get vs my 2016 dodge or even my wifes 2018 kia. Times have changed for sure and $40k CAD doesnt get you sweet fuck all from toyota. They got the LE awd for reference and it came to $41,000 after tax. That got them a gutless engine (fuel efficient though), no power seats and not even tire specific pressure monitoring, just a system that alarms when one unspecified tire is low...they want $400 for a fob with 2 buttons...the command start is a "hidden feature" that is just more easily accessed on the $10/month app.... Mazda is no better. They are taking that "japanese reliability" and going wild with pricing. Im not saying they are bad cars, but holy moly does it cost a lot more to get proper features than it did 6 years ago... The base model of this car is not worth $32k CAD, full stop. I nearly spit take at kia trying to advertise the EV9 on the radio then mumbling through the $64k price tag as if they were embarrassed that they had to say the price out loud.
Horrible instrumentation as more car manufactures go with these horrendous LCD screens. I don't want to play a video game when I enter my car. I want an RPM gauge and a MPH Gage.
I drove them both, hated the HRV, needed more oomph. This felt very peppy, actually has a regular first gear. Master mechanics say this is excellent. Only problem is, can't seem to find them on the lot....and if you do, you'll find it has a ton of adds, both from Toyota AND then your dealer will add crap you don't need, so the base msrp is very pleasing, then add $4000 to that. Ridiculous.
@@ofcbob6391I got my hands on one after only a week of contacting local dealerships, had to put a deposit down for one that was already in transit. Maybe it was the Toyota salesperson I spoke to but he asked his manager if they could give it to me for MSRP+tax and they did. He did say most dealerships are trying to markup the hybrid version.
Have a 2024 Hrv and already having issues. Car is only 2 weeks old and it vibrates while driving 40 to 70mph. Honda has to do better. Thinking of this car now

BEST SUV.I just test drove one today. IM definitely getting the xle . Thanks for a great video.
Picking up mine this week!

My gf just bought one today and she loves it
11:40 - You'd need to adjust your shutter speed to match the refresh rate of the screen. This also applies to LED lights.
Thank you, Eddie! I appreciate the tip.

You're welcome! Thank you for taking the time to watch.
I own a 2023 LE and love it. Great on gas. ⛽️
Thank you for a thorough, informational and helpful video! Appreciate it.
Awesome video! Thank you very much.
You're welcome. Thank you for taking the time to watch.
What color was that in your video? Nice review
If it had the 2.5L engine, it’d be perfect.
Looks great. You would be surprised how many millionaires drive this, and similar automobiles. Has all you need, safe, and reliable.

the flickering when recording the screen is due to your camera stutter speed
Good car I like ❤❤❤ Toyota Corolla Cross 2024 the best of America 🔥🔥
Cars in Florida do not come with turning signals.
At least they come to Florida :-)
I was shocked at good this drove compared to the HRV (which sucked)
Since this is the top Toyota cross XLE and it’s fully loaded shouldn’t it have a CD player in it?
Unfortunately, it has been several years since manufacturers have been putting CD players and vehicles.
Toyota safety 3.0? JBL speaker subwoofer?
Seems ,Ike a great car BUT there ain't t no goddam spareThat is something that's going to put a lot of potential buyers right off !
Does the screen dim when the lights are on? Love the size of the screen
Yes, screen dims when lights are on.
Getting a different camera will fix that.
I’d like a tutorial on the 2024 Hybrid Toyota Crossover XSE
Is this filmed in Houston, Texas by chance? Great video!
Louisiana
Very informative video! Thanks
You're welcome!
This is nice. Good review!
Thank you!
Any changes to the hybrid xse

Is this doesnt have heated steering eheel?
Doesn't seem to have much leg room in the back seats.
RAV4 is better for rear leg room.
Is corolla cross similar with RAV4?
Yes
It's smaller
Might as well get the hybrid version.
Nice looking Corolla, but small inside and low on power to really move and accelerate, I’ve seen these in the $30K range, you’re better off spending more money and getting a RAV4 XLE gas if you're going to spend that much money.
Too big
It’s the 2024. Version of the Matrix that I drive
I guess this is just the xle non hybrid right?
Yes
🎉🎉🎉🎉 lindo! Thank your very much!!
Got one ...all good
Good lock with “steering power low” enginestopped.
Excellent small SUV.
I hate it when Toyota infotainment with thick bezel.
Is the inside roof ligut grey or black ?
Grey.. I have this vehicle ..I like it a lot..
Just bought but I can't get my samsung phone to charge on pad
10:54 😂 yep!
😂
CVT is a no go.
What’s wrong with cvt?
What's wrong with cvt?
@@PremiumUserUltrathey don't last long term. Toyota and Honda have the best of them, but I wouldn't own one after 100,000 miles.

This CVT actually has a first gear, no other CVT like it that I've seen. Makes for a better CVT, along with the dual fuel injected 4 banger.

I cringe when I hear cvt!
Why? What’s wrong with cvt? They’re all cvt now it seems.
@@Mel-rj3tj they don't last long term. Very best if you only keep one a few years
Toyota's CVTs are made by Aisin and they're actually built quite well.
How many favourite phone numbers can you store on the car
Plus 3000 dollars of useless dealer add ons
NO!
Horrible instrumentation as more car manufactures go with these horrendous LCD screens. I don't want to play a video game when I enter my car. I want an RPM gauge and a MPH Gage.
The Honda HR-V is better.

HRV is even slower than the cross. Been reliability issues with the Honda.

Looks terrible to me. Especially that interior design.
