Sharon den Adel is one of the best singers in all time of rock and metal - so haunting and beautiful - this song is gorgeous

Within Temptation are my fav band of all time. I have to admit I love their earlier music better but new stuff is also good. But they are fire live, so worth it! Sharon has a special connection with the audience. Great reaction as always :)

First time I heard this song, its hit home for sure
I haven't listened to a lot of their music, but this is one of my favourites. The meaning of it (the situation women are facing in Iran) is really powerful. Another one I really like is "Don't Pray For Me" (criticising those who use religion as an excuse for horrible behaviour).
I've been a fan of theirs since 2005, when I was just a little 14-year-old, and have since then seen them live 3 times, will be 4 with this upcoming tour. And every new song they release is an instant love for me. I don't know how they do it 😍😍😍😍
OK, that was powerful. I took a quick jump to read the lyrics. Lot of meaning, lots to think about there. Add Sharon's voice combined with that powerful music is perfect.

Got to know them back in 2002, their 'mother earth' album is still one of their best to me. I like they're going a bit heavier again.

Sharons vocals are completely self taught btw, she has never had any professional tutoring. They have a huge catalogue of music and should always be considered one of the golden 3 imo (Epica, Within Temptation, Nightwish)

Tristania, Therion, Nightwish and WT brought me to symphonic metal in the mid90s. There where years when WT was my most listened to band. I prefer their earlier stuff, but this is also pretty good. And they are another band with meaningful messages 🖤🤘🏻
You really need to see the Paradise What About Us video where Sharon sings with Tarja. Within Temptation has a symphonic metal rap song out.

WT are awesome. This song though is very dark as its based on the the young woman murdered by the authorities in Iran because of her attire. If you want to just hear Sharon's beautiful voice you should check out "Somewhere" or "All I Need" amongst others.

My favorite song from within temptation is in the middle of the night. That said, this song is closing in on number one for me. It is so heavy, beautiful and beautiful. It’s within temptation has been doing for decades. On this particular song, though the subject matter is sad. No woman should be murdered by the morality. Police are showing their hair in Public.. Iranian people deserve better.

Once I loved WT. First albums were fantastic and some time ago they started to play more popy music. I song I find quite good with awsome video. A bit back to the roots. I know you like heavy than you should react their song "Deep Within" from first album (without Sharon) or "Candless". Album "Enter" is their best to me and belong to the finnest gothic metal albums.

These hardcore guitar riffs here sounds like Doom Eternal "The Only Thing They Fear Is You", or is it just me?
Especially the opening & at the end - do a comparison of Doom "The Only Thing They Fear Is You" opening and this one. Almost 1:1. (its uncanny)
Within Temptation was this hard rock/metal from the start, then they went to more pop rock sounds which might got the attention of more people, since pop is like for a larger audience, however I missed the hard beats they used to have. Maybe with this new 2023 album also called "Bleed Out" as this single, they are coming back to the roots. We'll see.
