Exchange water haha, most biofloc will bring problems after Biomass excess 2-3Kg/m3. It also consump alot of electricity to maintain. Any failure in machinery and electricity can cause corruption.

I think the way you compare the test between biofloc and ras was quite unfair..of course the ras beaker read higher ammonia than biofloc..because the beaker didnt attached to biofilter..you should not add sugar to biofloc beaker then with only that i believe the result will be the same..regard from negeri sembilan
Not right to compare bioflock and clear water as clear water should not contain any bacteria, the bacterial that convert the nutrients live in the filter material. Do the same experiment but let the clear water tank have a working filter !!

Yes, for biofloc, specific starters needs to be used. you can use sugar/flour/molasses

Alkalinity will automatically reduce over time due to nitrification
